아침에 눈을 뜨니 호텔방 문에 도마뱀이 다니고 있다.
라오스에는 어느 건물이나 이 도마뱀이 많다.
인체에는 무해하다고 하지만~
When I woke up in the morning, I found a lizard in front of the door.
In Laos, this lizard is found everywhere. They say "This lizard is not harmful to people."
But I was uneasy whenever I found the lizard.

간판글씨가 규제되고 있는듯 모두 일정한 크기다.
그런데 이 식당은 아이디어를 내었다.
그럴싸한 지붕과 기둥의 한 가운데에 간판을 걸쳐서 시선을 주목케 하는 것.
The size of the signboard seems to be regulated.
The owner of this restaurant tried a creative idea.
He framed the signboard with two pillars, in order to attract the attention of people.
아침식사를 든든하게 먹으려 쌀국수에 밥을 말아 먹었다.
식성이 좋은 하라상도 동일하게 먹었다.
To increase the amount of breakfast, I put additional rice to rice noodle.
Mr. Hara who has a good palate did the same.
쌀밥을 담는 통은 볏짚으로 만들었다.
라오스는 쌀밥이 찰지고 맛있다.
이를 보관하는 데에는 이런 밥통이 제격이다.
The rice bowl was made of rice straw.
The Laos rice is sticky and tasty.
The straw bowl is in harmony with sticky rice.

잔디운동장은 기본이다.
The two pictures above show the elemenatary school in Laos.
The turf ground is essential.
시원하게 지어진 목조건물
A wooden building shows dandy design.
점심 메뉴로 먹은 나물 소세지 무침.
이걸 반찬으로 하여 두사람이 밥을 넉넉히 먹었다.
The lunch was served with a mixture of edivle herb and sausage.
Mr. Hara and I enjoyed the lunch.
