영어성경은 “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Seek God's Kingdom and Righteousness
(4/14/2024 text: Matthew 6:25-33)
The theme of today's verse, "Seek the kingdom of God and righteousness," comes from the last verse of the text, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matt. 6:33). The English Bible says, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." It is written as.
In delivering the Sermon on the Mount, we must be obedient to the importance of the Lord's emphasis and command to us (Matt. 7:24-25). The Sermon on the Mount teaches us the core of the gospel of Christ and teaches us how to become the beneficiaries of the gospel of the kingdom.
To seek the kingdom of God first is to seek the kingdom of God to come to this earth to save us, and to seek the reign of God on this earth, and to seek the kingdom of God and the righteousness of God first is the first step in keeping the charter of the citizens of heaven. He also showed us that this is the basic attitude of our saints to give glory and praise to God the Father, who rules over all things for our salvation (Isaiah 43:7, 21).
The Lord told the Saints not to worry about food, clothing, and shelter, but to seek the kingdom of God and the righteousness of God. These words are spoken to all the saints living in the world, and they are told to live a good life, relying on God, who is the subject of our life and death. It is because we are God's children, created in Christ for good works (Ephesians 2:10).
Even though our bodies live on earth, we must believe in the words of the New Covenant, which says that we will ascend to heaven when Christ appears. The attitude of the life of us Christians, who have been raised with Christ, is to think and seek what is above in Christ (Colossians 3:1-2). Therefore, God's people must first think of the things of heaven, that is, the kingdom of God and the righteousness of God, and seek the kingdom of God and the righteousness of God first.
Through today's words, the Lord has told us about the life of the citizens of heaven. We should not worry about what we will eat, what we will drink, or what we will wear, which is the issue of food and clothing, which is necessary for human beings to live on this earth. He also told us not to be anxious about future problems (Matthew 6:31-33).
God's redeemed children must live in confidence that Heavenly Father has a throne in heaven and reigns over all things (Psalm 103:19). Believing that God the Almighty is in control of the rise and fall of nations and peoples, let us rely on God and not worry about Him (Psalm 37:4-10).
Even at this time, God's kingdom and God's righteousness are being realized under God's sovereign rule. In this last days, the Lord will come in the form of the King of kings to destroy the rulers of darkness and the wicked spirits in heaven who promote the evil of the world. The wicked who pursue the things of this world will not understand the truth and will perish like smoke (Matthew 24:38).
We must live patiently, believing in God's providence in the whirlwind of wars and disasters that occur around the world, and fulfilling the time of the last days (Matthew 24:12-14). I urge you to have insight into all the political, economic, cultural, and social issues of each country, and to believe in God's righteous hand that works and governs to accomplish the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
May we go forward with total reliance on God, our Shepherd. What does God, who did not spare his own Son, but delivered up for all, give us (Romans 8:32)? We should believe God's words, "Do not be anxious about anything, but let your requests be made known to God with thanksgiving" (Phil. 4:6), and we should seek God's kingdom and God's righteousness first.
