공냉 2기통(Boxer Engine)만을 고집하던 BMW에서 슈퍼바이크에 참전하면서 만든 레이서 타입의 신모델 바이크. 작정해서 일제메이커를 겨냥하고 만든 의도가 눈에 보인다.
국내에서 항상 문제시 되는 AS와 부품 공임문제만 해결된다면 포뮬러 메이커의 인지도 때문이라도 반응이 상당히 좋을듯 싶다. (그래봐야 국내 바이크시장은 너무 미미하니...)
가격은 전에 비해 상당히 착한 가격이고 (21,900,000₩ ~ 24,900,000₩).
