3 We proclaim /to you [what we ourselves have actually seen and heard
/so that you may have fellowship /with us.
And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
3 We 우린 proclaim 선포한다 to you 너희에게 what 그것을 we ourselves 우리 자신들이 have actually 실제적으로
seen 보고 and heard 들은 so that 그래서 you 너희가 may have 가지도록 fellowship 사귐을 with us 우리와 함께.
And our fellowship 우리의 사귐은 is 이다 with the Father 아버지와 and with his Son 그분의 아들이신,
Jesus Christ
* 3 형식 문장에서의 목적인 의문사절/명사절;
[what we ourselves have actually seen and heard [목], 접속사/의문사는 목적 역할도 겸함
we ourselves have actually seen and heard [what 그것을]
* 의도 설명에 쓰인 부사절 접속사 so that/in order that ; used to talk about purpose (결과 설명도 됨)

3 [What 그것을 we 우리가 saw 보고 and heard 들은] we 우리는 pass on 전달한다 /to you 너희에게
/so that 그래서 you 너희도, too 또한, will be connected 연결되도록 /with us 우리와 intimately 밀접하게
and become 되도록 family 식구가.
Our family 우리 식구는 is united 연합되었다 /by our connection 우리의 관계로

* 타동사구 pass on something definition: 1. to give something to someone, after someone else gave it to you 전달하다
* 강조상 목적이 문두에 쓰인 의문사절; we pass on [What we saw and heard] /to you
* 수동태와 수동상태 차이점;
둘 다 be+pp 구조이나
* and (you will) become family.
* 전치사구 to you는 주절 동사인 pass on 수식 부역전구

* 형역 과분사구 undimmed by darkness of any kind 과분사의 수동 주체인 light 수식
[What we are telling you ( ) now] 의문사는 직목을 대신하는 대명사
[that we heard ( ) from Him] 관계사는 목적을 대신하는 대명사
다른 점 ;
[What we are telling you now] is the very message that we heard from Him:
what we are telling you now] 우리가 너희에게 말하는 'what=그것/일'
the massage //that we heard (that=the massage) from Him
[What we are telling you now] is the very message (관계사 생략) we heard from Him
6 So we are lying if we say () we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness;
we are not practicing the truth.
6 So 그러므로 we 우리는 are lying 거짓말한다 if 만약 we 우리가 say 말한다면 (that)절 내용을 즉 we 우리가
have 가진다면서 fellowship 사귐을 with God 하나님과
but go on 계속해서 living 산다면 in spiritual darkness 영적인 어둠 속에서;
we 우린 are not practicing 실행하는 것이 아니다 the truth 진리를.
* 목적인 명사절/that 절; that we have fellowship with God; 타동사 say 의 목적역할
* but (if we) go on living in spiritual darkness
* 타동사구 go on; 2. to continue: 계속하다
* 목적인 동명사구 living in spiritual darkness
* VOICE
6 If 만약 we 우리가 say 말한다면 (that) 그것을 we 우리가 have 가졌다면 [an intimate 친밀한 connection 관계를
/with the Father 성부 하나님과]
but 그러나 we 우리가 continue 계속하면 [stumbling around 비틀거리기를 in darkness 어둠 속에서],
then 그러면 we 우린 are lying 거짓말하는 것이다
/because 왜냐면 we 우리는 do not live 살지 않기에 /according to truth 진리에 의거하여.
* 목적인 명사구 [an intimate connection /with the Father]
* 형역전구 /with the Father
* 목적 역할인 동명사구; stumbling around /in darkness
* stumble 1 to trip or fall while walking or running. 2 to walk in an awkward, unsteady, or unsure way.
3 to make mistakes or hesitate in speech or actions.
7 But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light,
then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
7 But 그러나 if 만약 we 우리가 are living 산다면 in the light 빛에서, as God 하나님께서 is in the light 빛이신 것처럼,
then 그러면 we 우리는 have 가졌다 fellowship 사귐을 with each other 서로 간에,
and the blood of Jesus 예수 그리스도의 보혈이, his Son 성자 하나님이신, cleanses 씻기신다 us 우리를
from all sin 모든 죄로부터.
* be 동사의 보어로 쓰인 전치사구; in the light
* all sin 일반명사 앞에 쓰인 all
* VOICE
7 If 만약 we 우리가 walk 걷는다면 /step by step 한 걸음씩 /in the light 빛에서,
where 그곳에서 the Father 성부 하나님께서 is 계시는,
then 그러면 we 우리는 are ultimately 궁극적으로 connected 연결되었다 /to each other 서로에게
/through the sacrifice 희생제를 통하여 of Jesus His Son 성자 하나님의.
His blood 그분의 보혈이 purifies 정결하게 한다 us 우리를 /from all our sins 우리의 모든 죄로부터.
* 부사적으로 쓰인 숙어 step by step ; so as to progress gradually and carefully from one stage to the next.
* 삽입절/관계부사절 where the Father is, 앞 명사인 light 를 수식한다 보아 형절로 이해함
* 형용사 앞에 쓰인 all ; all our sins
8 If we claim () we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.
8 If 만약 we 우리가 claim 주장하면 (that)절 내용을 즉 we 우리가 have 없다고 no sin 아무런 죄가,
we 우리는 are only 단지 fooling 우롱할 뿐이고 ourselves 우리 자신들을
and not living 사는 것이 아니다 in the truth 진리 안에서.
* 목적인 명사절/that 절 ; that we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.
* 목적으로 쓰인 재귀대명사 ourselves
* VOICE
8 If 만약 we 우리가 go around 돌아다닌다면 /bragging 허풍 치면서, “We 우리는 have 없다 no sin 아무런 죄가,”
then 그러면 we 우리는 are fooling 우롱하는 것이고 ourselves 우리 자신을
and are strangers 타인들이다 /to the truth 진리에 대해서는.
* 자동사구
go around intransitive verb. 1a : to pass from place to place : go here and there.
we are fooling ourselves =>we fool ourselves
9 But if we confess our sins to him,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
9 But 그러나 if 만약 we 우리가 confess 고백한다면 our sins 우리의 죄를 to him 그분께,
he 그분께서는 is faithful 신실하시고 and just 정의로우셔서 to forgive 용서하시고 us 우리를
our sins 우리 죄로부터 and to cleanse 정결케하신다 us 우리를 from all wickedness 모든 사악함으로부터.
faithful and just /to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness
* 형용사 수식인 부역 부정사구; /to forgive us our sins, /to cleanse us from all wickedness
* 4 형식 구조의 부정사구; to forgive [us] [our sins]
* VOICE
9 But 그러나 if 만약 we 우리가 own up 인정한다면 /to our sins 우리의 죄에 대해,
God 하나님께서 shows 보여 주신다 that절 내용을 즉 He 그분께서 is faithful 신실하시고 and just 정의로우시다는 걸
by forgiving 용서하시고 us 우리를 of our sins 우리의 죄에 관해
and purifying 정결케하심으로 us 우리를 from the pollution 오염으로부터 of all the bad things 모든 나쁜 일들로 인한
(that) 그건 we 우리가 have done 했었던.
* 숙어 Own up - to admit that one has done a usually bad thing : to confess to something
* 보어인 형용사구 faithful and just by by forgiving us of our sins and purifying~

* 관사 앞에 쓰인 all
10 If we claim () we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.
10 If 만약 we 우리가 claim 주장하면 (that)절 내용을 즉 we 우리가 have not sinned 범죄 하지 않았다고,
we 우린 are calling 부르는 것이고 God 하나님을 a liar 거짓말쟁이라고
and showing 보이는 것이다 that절 내용을 즉 his word 그분의 말씀이 has 없다는 걸 no place 둘 자리가
in our hearts 우리의 마음에.
* 목적인 명사절/that 절; that we have not sinned, that his word has no place in our hearts
* claim (that) we have not sinned, 에서는 that 이 생략되었지만
showing that his word has no place in our hearts에서 that 이 생략되지 않은 이유는
claim we have not sinned, 해도 we 가 목적격이 아니라서 claim 의 목적으로 오해할 순 없지만
showing his word has no place in our hearts.
* 명사가 부정된 부정문 no place in our hearts 마음에 (거할) 장소가 없다;
* VOICE

and show 보여준다 that절 내용을 즉 we 우리가 have not let 허락하지 않았다고 [His word 그분의 말씀이]
[find 찾아가게 its way 그 길을 into our hearts 우리 맘 속으로 들어오는].
* to depict ; to represent by or as if by painting or other visual image; portray;
* 목적인 명사절/that 절; that we have not let [His word] [find its way into our hearts] 5 형식인 완전절
* 5 형식의 목보로 쓰인 원형 부정사구; (to) find its way into our hearts 준타동사+목적+부역전구
