1. The start of the Seokbulsa Temple journey
Departure from Busan Korail train Station( 부산역)
- Take the subway and get off Mandeok Station
and then walk out through exit 2.
Look at the sign and go up to Seokbulsa Temple.
(It takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to walk.)
* Caution: Taxis can go halfway up the road to the temple.
Because it is dangerous, get off at the middle parking lot
and then you have to walk up to the temple.
* Take a taxi from Exit 2 of Mandeok Subway Station.
It takes about 10 minutes to get halfway to the temple
and the fare is cheap, so take a taxi if possible.
2. Must-see things at Seokbulsa Temple

On the large rock hidden behind the main hall of
Seokbulsa Temple, the engraved Buddhist art
pieces are a highlight.
* The road to Seokbulsa Temple is a rocky rock, so
Wear good shoes for walking.
* As you go up, you will see many foreigners visiting
with large cameras.
3. Attractions around Seokbulsa Temple
- Seokbulsa Temple is a good place for tracking.
You can walk along the Baekyangsan Mountain trail,
or you can find the Busan Galmaetgil course
and walk with Seokbulsa Temple.
- The area around Seokbulsa Temple is Baekyangsan
Mountain, so it is recommended to enjoy the night
view from a high place.
4. Restaurants around Seokbulsa Temple
- Kalguksu(칼국수 noodle), duck meat(오리 불고기),
,haejanggukbap(해장국 pork soup with kimchi),
at Mandeok Market(만덕 시장).
If you visit Gupo Market(구포 시장), I think the food at
Gupo Market, such as Gupo noodles and yuzu(유자) donuts,
is more delicious.
5. After visiting Seokbulsa Temple, travel to nearby places
- A recommended travel course is to walk on the Gupo
Golden Bridge(구포 금빛 브릿지) and pass through it to
take a walk through Hwamyeong Ecological Park
(화명 생태 공원).
