The UEFA European Football Championship is the main association football competition contested by the senior men's
national teams ofthe members of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the sport's European governing body.
Held every four years since 1960, in the even-numbered year between World Cup tournaments,
it was originally called the UEFA European Nations Cup, changing to the current name in 1968.

The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2020 or simply Euro 2020,
will be the 16th European Championship for national football teams organised by UEFA.
