A letter to the soldiers of Myanmar.
I am a father who made three sons serve in the military in Korea.
Among the three sons, the first son was discharged as a lieutenant and the second son as a sergeant.
My youngest son is currently serving as an officer in the army.
And, I am a person who received demonstration suppression training while serving in the military from 1986 to 1988 when the democratization movement took place in Korea.
So I understand the position of the soldiers at all.
In the past, in Korea, the military regime controlled the country as much as in present Myanmar, but now, democracy-based regimes are moving Korea according to the developing trend of society.
You are now moving by order, but one day when times change, your actions will be judged by law.
As the atrocities committed by the Korean military regime in the past were revealed, all those who even served as presidents went to prison.
At that time, people who were instructed by their superiors and carried out orders to shoot civilians had to live with a guilty conscience and shame.
Times are bound to change.
Soldiers!
Resist invalid commands!
If you suppress your people, the regime won't last long.
This is a letter from a father who has three soldier sons while sincerely thinking about you.
