9 Then 그러고 나서 [all 모든 the other 다른 sick people 병자들이 on the island 섬의] came 왔고 and were healed 치유되었다.
* The Voice
9 Soon 곧 [people 사람들이 from all over the island 섬 전체에서 온 who 그들 had 가진 diseases 병을] came 왔고,

* The Voice
10-11 We 우리는 stayed 머물렀고 on Malta 멜리데에서 for the next three months 다음 석 달을

13 From there we sailed across /to Rhegium.
A day later a south wind began [blowing], so the following day we sailed /up the coast to Puteoli.
13 From there 거기로부터 we 우리는 sailed 항해했다 across 가로질러 /to Rhegium 레기온으로.
A day later 하루 후에 a south wind 남풍이 began 시작했다 [blowing 불기를],
so 그래서 the following day 다음 날 we 우리는 sailed 항해했다 /up the coast 해안선 위로 to Puteoli 보디올로.
* Rhegium, modern Reggio Calabria, is located at the tip of Italy's “toe.” 이탈리아의 장화 모양의 끝에 위치한 항구
* A strong wind drives them 180 miles to Puteoli, modern-day Pozzuoli, about 25 miles west of Mt. Vesuvius.
* The Voice
13 we 우리는 weighed 실고/올리고 anchor 닻을 and came 왔다 to Rhegium 레기온으로.
We 우리는 waited 기다렸고 there 거기서 a day 하루를,
and then 그러고 나서 a south wind 남풍이 sprang up 일어나서 and sped 빨리가게 했다 us 우리를 to Puteoli 보디올에.
14 There we found some believers, who invited us to spend a week with them. And so we came /to Rome.
14 There 거기서 we 우리는 found 발견했다 some 몇몇 believers 신자들을,
who 그들 invited 초대한 us 우리를 to spend 지내도록 a week 한 주를 with them 그들과 함께.
And so 그래서 we 우리는 came 왔다 /to Rome 로마로.
* The Voice
14 We 우리는 found 발견했고 some 몇몇 believers 신자들을 there 거기서,
and they 그들은 invited 초대했다 us 우리가 to stay 머무르게 with them 그들과 함께 for seven days 7일 동안.
Then 그러고 나서 we 우리는 reached 도달했다 Rome 로마에.
* 일반동사 5 형식 invited us to stay with them for seven days.
15 The brothers and sisters in Rome had heard () we were coming,
and they came /to meet us /at the Forum on the Appian Way.
Others joined us /at The Three Taverns. When Paul saw them, he was encouraged and thanked God.

It might be most famous for its role in the slave revolt lead by Spartacus in 73 B.C.
After the Roman army subdued the insurrection they crucified more than 6000 slaves
and lined the Appian Way for 130 miles with their bodies.

Because of their rejection, God will allow them to continue in their rejection of His offer of salvation.
As the Jewish community's experts in the Scriptures, they have every piece of evidence they need (John 5:39–40).
Their rejection is intentional.
