F-4D의 APQ-109는 유지보수가 안돼서 스패로를 쏠 수가 없는데, F-4E의 APQ-120은 잘 유지보수되고 있고 일부 기체는 C-802 대함미사일도 쏠 수 있다고 하네요.
"Since the early 1990s, the AN/APQ-109 radars of the F-4Ds in Iran have not been functional, therefore, the F-4Ds restored and overhauled by the F-4 overhaul centre can no longer use AIM-7E Sparrow medium range semi-active radar guided missiles."
@위종민 But unlike the F-4Ds, all of the F-4Es which have been under depot maintenance at the 1st TFB have had their AN/APQ-120 radars fully restored. Some of these radars are also heavily modernised on the upgraded F-4Es which can enable the crew to detect enemy surface vessels from greater distances and launch their C-802KD anti-ship missiles beyond the range of their sea-to-air missile systems.
첫댓글 그리스의 F-4E는 업그레이드하면서 F-16과 비슷한 "bird slicer" IFF를 기수에 달았죠.
레이더도 갈고 암람 운용능력도 넣었네요. 성능은 쓸만하겠지만 운용유지가 어려워서 팬텀과 미라지 2000을 퇴역시킬 생각인가 봅니다.
90년대이후까지 팬텀을 대량으로 사용한 나라들 중에서 레이다 교체같은 대대적인 업그레이드 안하고 마르고 닳도록 사용한 나라는 한국이네요. 이란은 어떤지 모르지만요.
