이곳에 회원 여러분의 개종 이야기를 올려 주시면 다른 방문자와 자신의 신앙이 흔들릴 때 다시 보면 새로운 용기가 솟아 오를 것입니다.   참된 개종은 회개와 침례를 통하여 시작하며 신앙 생활을 하는 동안 지속적으로 이루어집니다. 회개는 악에서 돌이켜 우리의 마음과 의지를 하나님에게로 향하고 그분의 계명과 소망에 따르고 죄를 버리는 것입니다.   BIBLE DICTIONARY <NAME>Conversion</NAME> <DIV class=paragraph>Denotes changing one’s views, in a conscious acceptance of the will of God (<A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/acts/3/19#19">Acts 3: 19</A>). If followed by continued faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism in water for the remission of sins, and the reception of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands, conversion will become complete, and will change a natural man into a sanctified, born again, purified person - a new creature in Christ Jesus (see <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/2_cor/5/17#17">2 Cor. 5: 17</A>). Complete conversion comes after many trials and much testing (see <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/luke/22/32#32">Luke 22: 32</A>; <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/dc/112/12-13#12">D&C 112: 12-13</A>). To labor for the conversion of one’s self and others is a noble task, as in <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/ps/51/13#13">Ps. 51: 13</A>; <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/dan/12/3#3">Dan. 12: 3</A>; <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/james/5/19-20#19">James 5: 19-20</A>; <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/dc/18/15-16#15">D&C 18: 15-16</A>. Cf. <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/alma/26">Alma 26</A>. </DIV> <DIV class=paragraph> </DIV> Repentance The Greek word of which this is the translation denotes a change of mind, i.e., a fresh view about God, about oneself, and about the world. Since we are born into conditions of mortality, repentance comes to mean a turning of the heart and will to God, and a renunciation of sin to which we are naturally inclined. Without this there can be no progress in the things of the soul’s salvation, for all accountable persons are stained by sin, and must be cleansed in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. Repentance is not optional for salvation; it is a commandment of God (<A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/dc/18/9-22#9">D&C 18: 9-22</A>; <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/dc/20/29#29">D&C 20: 29</A>; <A href="http://scriptures.lds.org/en/dc/133/16#16">D&C 133: 16</A>). The preaching of repentance by John the Baptist formed the preparation for the ministry of our Lord.
