O Thou, the Lamb of God

예수께서 떡을 가지사 축복하시고 떼어 제자들에게 주시며 이르시되

"받아서 먹으라. 이것은 내 몸이니라." 하시고, 또 잔을 가지사 감사 기도 하시고 그들에게 주시며 이르시되

"너희가 다 이것을 마시라. 이것은 죄 사함을 얻게 하려고 많은 사람을 위하여 흘리는 바 나의 피, 곧 언약의 피니라." 
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying,

"Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying,

"Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant,

which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins"

아무 흠도 없고 거룩 거룩하신
하나님의 어린양이 죽임을 당했네
O Thou, the Lamb of God, Spotless and most holy,
Is slain, th'unblemished Lamb, to bear our sins at Calvary

이는 나 위하여 십자가 위에서
못 박히사 깨뜨리신 주님의 몸일세
This is the broken bread, The body marred for me,
The very body of the Lord, Nailbroken on the tree

이는 나 위하여 형벌을 받으사
주가 친히 대신 흘린 주의 보혈일세
This is the blood outpoured in judgment, in my stead;
For you, for me, at Calvary in love and mercy shed

이는 주가 지금 나에게 주시는
영생하는 양식이요 마시는 잔일세
Here is the table spread which Jesus doth prepare,
Who gives us now this bread of life, this cup which now we share

심히 사모하는 떠나셨던 주님
속히 세상 다시 올때 반가이 뵙겠네
The Lord for Whom we yearn, ascended for a space,
Comes soon, and we at His return with joy shall see His face

우리 그때까지 십자가를 지고
주의 자비함과 은혜 널리 전파하세
And we? Until that hour, Let us, in every place
Bear still our cross, still tell His power, His mercy and His grace
