Important Announcement on Reports of Marriage: Philippine Embassy,South Korea
The Family Code of the Philippines provides that "records of marriages whether performed by the Philippine Consular Officer or by the local religious or civil authorities shall be kept and transmitted to the Philippine Civil Registrar through the Department of Foreign Affairs"(Sec.664 of the Philippine Foreign Service Code).
1.For applicants who got married outside the Philippines, submit four(4) setsphotocopies of each of the following documents: Duly accomplished form for Report of Marriage(4sets) original marriage certificate + 4 photocopies(original will be returned), Passport of both spouses+ 4 photocopies of data page, Payment of Report of Marriage service fee of $25.00
2.For applicants who were previously married to another person and later applied for an annulment, submit four(4)sets/photocopies of each of the following documents: Duly accomplished form for Report of Marriage(4sets), Original marriage certificate+ 4 photocopies(original will be returned), Certificate from NSO verifying that applicants was last married to spouse listed in the marriage certificate (CENOMAR), Passport of both spouses + 4 photocopies of data page DFA authenticated copy of the court decision declaring the marriage annulled(4sets),Payment of Report of Marriage service fee of $25.00
3.For widowed applicants who have remarried, submit four(4) sets/photocopies of each of the following documents: Duly accomplished form for Report of Marriage(4sets), Original marriage certificate + 4 photocopies of data page(original will be returned), Certificate from NSO verifying that applicants was last married to spouse listed in the marriage certificate(CENOMAR), Passport of both spouses + 4 photocopies of data page,Death Certificate of deceased spouse + 4 photocopies(original will be returned), Payment of Report of Marriage service fee of $25.00
4. Filipinos whose marriage was solemnized by the local government in Korea should register/report their marriage at the philippine embassy,Seoul, within a period of one year from the time of their marriage. otherwise, an affidavit of late registration will be executed for such purpose in addition to the above-mentioned requirements. Affidavit fee of $25.00
The Consular Officer reserves the rights to require additional proof or documents from an applicants, to prove his/her citizenship or identity pursuant to the Philippine Passport Law(R.A.8239) and the foreign Service Act (R.A.7157)

Submission of Applications at Window 1 from 9:00 to 12:00 noon weekdays only.
Collection of document is after two(2) working days: release is from 9:00 to 12: a.m. weekdays only.
