What is UNICA?		UNICA란?
1. Purpose To promote video - and filmmaking as a means of international communication To support international cultural cooperation To represent its member federations at UNESCO To achieve recognition of the independence and freedom of expression‎‍ for member Federations.		1.목적 국제적인 커뮤니케이션의 수단으로서 비디오와 영화제작을 증진하고 국제적인 문화활동을 지원하고 UNESCO 회원 단체임을 나타내기 위함이며 회원 단체들의 독자성의 인식과 표현의 자유를 성취한다.
2. Organization UNICA is an independent international organization. It is a member of the authoritative UNESCO Council. The supreme body of UNICA is the General Assembly where all member federations have the right to participate and to vote. Executive power is held by a Committee composed of ten members and selected for a Three-year term by the General Assembly.		2.조직 UNICA는 독립된 국제기구의 하나이며, 그 권위가 인정된 유네스코의 회원이다. UNICA의 최고 기관은 총회이며 모든 회원 단체는 총회에 참석하여 투표할 수 있는 권한이 있다. UNICA의 대표권은 총회에서 선출된 10명의 위원으로 구성되는 위원회에 있으며 그 임기는 3년이다.
3. Film Library UNICA'S Film Library, established in 1938, currently hs over 650 works in the form of film and video. The oldest item dates from 1935. The film and video copies in the library have been donated by their makers and the corresponding federations. Member federations have access to a catalogue with detailed information on the titles of the films in the library.		3.필름 도서관 UNICA의 필름 도서관은 1938년에 건립되었다.현재 필름과 비디오 형태의 650개 이상의 작품을 소장하고 있다.가장 오래된 작품은 1935년도 작품이다. 도서관에 있는 필름과 비디오의 복사본들은 제작자 그리고 관련되 연합들에게서 기부 받은 것들이다. 연합들의 회원은 도서관에서 필름의 제목등이 상세하게 설명된 카탈로그를 이용할 수 있다.
4. Patronage When requested, UNICA supports international film festivals which commit themselves to rhe regulations of UNCA. For these events a special UNICA medal is offered to be awarded by the organizers.		4.후원 요청이 있을 때,UNICA는 UNICA의 규정에 따라 맡겨진 다른 국제적인 영화제를 후원한다. 이러한 이벤트들을 위하여 특별히 만들어진 UNICA의 메달이 주최자에 의해서 수여된다.
5. Information National federations are kept up-to date on the latest developments in the field through "UNICA News", a newsletter published three to four times a year in several languages. Other publications are also issued on special occasions.		5.정보 국가 연합들은 "유니카 뉴스"를 통하여 최근의 발전상을 계속 알려야 하며 이소식지는 영어,독어. 불어 등 3개 국어로 작성되어 연 4회 출판된다. 기타 출판물은 수시로 출판된다.
6. The General Assembly The General Assembly is an annual forum where member federations meet to discuss And decide on issues of importance to the future development of UNICA.		6.총회 총회는 회원 연맹이 논의하기 위해 만나고 UNICA의 미래 발전에 대한 중요한 일들에 대해서 결정하는 일련의 포럼이다.
7. The World Championship This is the highlight of UNICA's annual meeting when each federation presents a selection of films produced during the past year. Prizes are awarded by an international jury which also includes professional filmmakers: the most interesting productions are awarded gold, silver or bronze medals. The "UNICA- Jeunesse" competition is intended for young filmmakers up to the age of 25. It is included in the competition of the national programmes		7. 세계 영화제 각국의 연합이 제작해서 선장한 필름을 상영하는 세계영화는 UNICA의 매년 모임의 가장 중요한 행사이다. 상은 전문 영화제작자들을 포함한 국제 심사위원이 심사하며 가장 좋은 영화들은 금,은,동 메달을 받게 된다. UNICA-Jeuness대회는 만25세까지의 청소년 영화 제작자를 위한 것이다. 이 대회는 국내 행사에 포함된다.
8. World Minute Movie Cup The "World Minute Movie Cup" competition is also open to non-members. It is a competition for films with a maximum duration of 1 minute.		8.세계 1분 영화제 "세계 1분 영화제(World Minute Movie Cup)는 비 회원들을 위해 열린다.이 대회는 필름의 최대 상영시간이 1분이내 이다.
9. Discussions and Forums Audiences have the opportunity to meet the filmmakers and discuss the films presented at the annual film festival. The discussions are usually held with the aid of simultaneous interpreting. There are also forums on various subjects of interest to participants and UNICA members, who meet here to exchange ideas and experiences. The jury's final discussion in which it decides on each year's award-winning films, is public. The UNICA Committee and the Congress organizers seek to promote contacts between filmmakers, the audience and non-members.		9.토론과 포럼 관객들은 매년 영화제에서 작품 제작자들을 만나고 상영된 작품에 대해 같이 토론할 수 있는 기회를 가진다. 토론은 보통 동시통역의 도움을 받아 열린다. 또한 참가자와 UNICA 회원들이 관심있는 다양한 주제의 포럼들이 열린다. 그들은 이곳에서 그들의 아이디어나 생각을 서로 교환하기 위해 만난다. 매년 수상할 작품을 선정하는 심사위원들의 최종적인 토의는 공개되어 있다. UNICA 위원회와 의회는 작품제작자와 관객 그리고 비 회원들 간의 만남을 증진시키기 위해 이러한 토론과 포럼을 개최한다.
10. Cultural Programme The Congress programme also includes various recreational activities and other social events		10.문화프로그램 총회는 또한 여러가지 여가활동과 다른 사회적 활동을 포함한 행사를 개최한다.
