미 공군 F-16 바이퍼 시범팀이 최근 1974년 캘리포니아주 에드워드 공군기지에서 처음 비행한 오리지널 YF-16 프로토타입(원형) 항공기의 빨간색, 흰색, 파란색 색상 구성의 50주년을 기념하는 새로운 페인트 작업을 선보였다.

The U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demonstration Team recently debuted a new paint job, an homage to the 50th anniversary of the red, white, and blue color scheme on the original YF-16 prototype aircraft, which first flew at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., in 1974.

✈✈️제네럴 다이나믹스 F-16 파이팅 팰컨은 미국산 단발 초음속 다목적 전투기로 미 공군용으로 제네럴 다이나믹스가 개발했다. 본래 주간용 공중우세전투기로 개발되었으나 성공적인 전천후 다목적 전투기로 발전했고, 1976년 생산승인 이후 4600대 이상이 생산되었다.
