👑🤴👸진주로 알려진 진주의 왕과 왕비(The Pearly King and Queen)는 영국 런던의 노동계급 문화의 조직적인 자선 전통이다. 그들은 19세기부터 런던의 공공생활에 없어서는 안 될 존재였다. 왕족의 관례에 따라 진주 칭호(pearly titles)는 세대를 거쳐 전해진다. 하지만 영국 왕실은 하나뿐이지만 런던 자치구마다 각자의 진주가 있다. 그들은 자선단체를 위해 기금을 모으는 데 시간을 바친다. 가장 오래된 진주 협회(Pearly organisations)는 1902년에 시작된 진주 길드(Pearly Guild)이다. 최근 추가된 단체로는 2001년에 시작된 런던 펄리 킹스 앤 퀸즈 소사이어티(London Pearly Kings and Queens Society)와 진주의 왕과 여왕 길드가 있다. 경쟁 관계에도 불구하고 각 단체는 런던 중심부에 있는 교회와 제휴하고 있으며 런던에 있는 자선단체를 위해 기금을 모으는 데 전념하고 있다. 2012년 하계올림픽 개막식에서는 실제 진주의 왕과 여왕(Pearly Kings and Queens)의 퍼레이드가 선보였다.
