📢🌨️밀턴의 상륙 폭풍 보고 내역: 수요일에 상륙하기 전에 밀턴이 플로리다주 남부와 중부에서 수많은 토네이도를 생성했다. 토네이도에 대한 보고가 최소 30건 있었지만, 토네이도의 실제 수는 국립기상청이 폭풍 조사를 수행할 때까지 알 수 없다. 레이크 랜드, 윈터 헤이븐, 웨슬리 채플을 포함한 파스코, 힐스버러, 폴크 카운티에 폭우로 인해 수요일 저녁에 홍수 비상사태가 발령되었다. 이 지역의 강우량은 총 203~305mm로 추산되었다. 총 254~432mm의 강우량으로 피넬라스 카운티 남부, 힐스버러 카운티 해안, 매너티 카운티 서부에 비를 뿌렸다. 플로리다주 세인트 피터즈버그는 단 1시간 만에 127mm가 넘는 비가 내렸고, 그 시간 동안 시속 144km(90마일)에 달하는 돌풍이 불었다. 탬파와 세인트피터스버그 도심의 일부 지역은 최대 432mm의 비로 인해 침수되었다. 탬파는 단 하루 만에 280mm가 넘는 비를 내려 월별 강수량 기록을 경신했다. 이 기록은 100년 이상 유지되었다. 강우로 인한 홍수로 세인트 피터즈버그와 탬파에서 허리까지 차오르는 물이 보고되었다. 수요일 저녁 상륙 직전 사라소타 근처에서 수위가 약 2.4m 이상 상승했다. 네이플스에서 샬럿 하버까지 0.9~1.8m의 폭풍해일이 기록되었으며, 마나티와 사라소타 카운티에서 더 많은 침수가 발생할 가능성이 있다. 탬파灣의 상단은 폭풍으로 인해 수위가 약 1.5m 떨어졌지만 탬파灣의 하구는 수위가 0.3~0.6m 상승했다. 네이플스는 4.78m의 폭풍해일을 기록했다.
