Rising star was founded in 2008.

The premier internationally founded football team in Ulsan South Korea strategically decided to pass on the knowledge, ability and skill brought together from over 12 nations, through various coaching, playing and experience backgrounds.

Current Coaches

Lyle Baatjes(2011 -      ) - used to be a striker for Southhampton FC and Cambridge United FC, and Ulsan City's Premiere Expat team Wonshot Wanderers FC's striker now.

Rising Star Football Academy run’s children's  football and language coaching classes on a weekly basis, at venues  throughout the Ulsan South Korea and in the United Kingdom.

Founded in 2008 Rising Star Football Academy is the leading Football and English Language provider in Ulsan coaching expatriate kids from Hyundai Foreign School and Busan International Foreign School.

Rising Star Football Academy football camps are   action-packed with football coaching, drills and fun football games -  the perfect way for  football crazy children to spend their day or a n excellent means to enhance their skills during the holidays.

Rising Star weekly classes provide the foundation football and English language skills to ensure that every child can have a springboard to success in and outside the classroom.

 All our camps, classes and programs are built and directed on the belief that any sport should be fun while also challenging, should develop both skills and friendships and should promote good sportsmanship and team participation, including leadership and 'being a team player'.

We also like to cover the importance of fitness and nutrition and work with experts in both these fields to ensure we can cover parent's questions and concerns in these areas, as well as knowing that we are delivering appropriate exercise and information to our students.

Coaches are Korean Expat Champions

Won Shot Wanderers FC, coaches team have got the champion title of Ulsan Cup 2012, the most competative football tournament for expat football clubs in Korea.

Sixteen teams battled it out in Ulsan on 26&27 May for the Ulsan Cup, the biggest cup tournament in expat soccer.

Teams come from across Korea to face each other each year including outfits from Seoul, Daegu and Gwangju.
