Introduction
Today, we live in prosperity amidst advanced civilization and its benefits. However, if we look up, we see that there are still people who live in pain and difficulty, sometimes standing on the edge of survival, worrying about their daily lives. However, there are many things that are given and used fairly to everyone, regardless of their abilities and circumstances. One of them is ‘language.’ And among the many things that are used fairly, if there is something that is particularly different about this language, it is that the language that people use can be much more beautiful, noble, and profound depending on how well they learn, refine, and create this language. On the other hand, there are people who simply project their own life and expressions from their lives without much thought or effort, and live a simple and crude language life. However, what is clear is that the language itself does not impose any restrictions or limitations on anyone who uses the same language.
Therefore, the results will differ depending on how this language is used.
So when did this language start? Who created the first language on this earth?
As we learned in elementary school science or social studies classes, did they start using really simple sounds as signals and gradually develop into language? If so, why is it only humans among the countless animals that can do it? Was it because humans are higher animals? And was it really absolutely impossible for other animals? If it were possible, and animals had overcome and won the competition or given environment just like we anthropomorphize them in cartoons and movies, would humans have become beings that live like animals under them?
There are several claims about when and how this language began, but at present, there seems to be no realistic and factual way to prove which of them is correct. That is why there are only various theories and claims depending on the difference in direction of those who follow one position on them.
However, educational institutions that should teach only the most objective and factual things are teaching the “spontaneous generation theory” that “language arose when animal cries were given names to objects by the rational nature of humans, and as these experiences increased, it gradually developed into a more systematic language” as if it were a fact that has already been confirmed. As a result, students receiving education are naturally forced to accept and believe it as if it were true.
However, despite the fact that no clear evidence has been found to support any fact academically regarding the origin of language to date, the educational community tends to teach all students, who are the subjects of education at the time when the entire nation is receiving education, one of the unconfirmed theories among theories as if it were true by the power of the state and education. In this way, educated people are making the absolute mistake of mistakenly believing it as if it were true.
This is not only the theory of the origin of language, but also the “creationism” and “evolutionism”. There are currently two major 'theories' or 'claims' about the creation of this world: 'creationism' and 'evolutionism'. What is clear is that neither of these two have been proven with clear and definite evidence in science! They are just claims. However, despite this, there are many cases where the theory of evolution is taught as if it were an established fact in the national education field, and as science has developed further, the evidence that the theory of evolution was claimed to be wrong has been proven, and it has become a laughing stock. In addition, even though it has already been acknowledged and confirmed as incorrect evidence within the scientific community, there are still things that are taught in the educational community as evidence of the theory of evolution. In this case, students who do not have the ability to discern it learn it as an established fact at school, and if they assume that they will grow up to be citizens, they are making the entire nation foolish or making them think in a uniform way. Whether it is the origin of language or how this world came into being and developed, all claims that are based on objective evidence should be taught together, and students should discuss which of them is more plausible, and in the process, individuals should choose and reach a conclusion. However, modern education claims to foster creative talents, but in reality, it is providing biased education that teaches students only one of the uncertainties as if it were true. I think that the correct way to teach is to introduce various theories and claims and leave it as homework for students to decide which is more plausible.
In that sense, we should realize that there are aspects that we have not been properly introduced to due to biased education in the past, in the sense that we should correct what is wrong.
It is no exaggeration to say that language has now become a tool or weapon of competition. It is said that there are about 6,000 to 7,000 languages on Earth, but many of them are on the verge of extinction, and in fact, three or four languages are disappearing every day. Some predict that in the next 50 years, only a few dozen languages will survive.
This language, which we have been using and speaking happily without any particular inconvenience, has become an era in which we live in a foreign country or come into contact with people of different races, ethnicities, or countries, and we will painfully realize how inconvenient and difficult it is to use different languages.
Furthermore, when we think about what will happen to this language in the future, we cannot help but think again about the importance of this language, considering that language is closely related to all other fields such as race, country, society, politics, history, religion, ideology, and art, as well as to the special intellectual, physical, and spiritual aspects of an individual. Like this, there are histories and thoughts and beliefs about them that flow together like a stream called language, and I have projected my thoughts and feelings about these things into my thoughts and emotions. Although it is a poorly written piece, the content of this piece is like a drama or movie that films an event from various angles and draws a comprehensive conclusion through various elements, and the various stories that appear in this piece show the close relationship between languages, so I think about what mission it gives us, and I hope that by making Hangul the world's alphabet, countries and peoples that have adopted Hangul have the opportunity to use their own language notation more easily, simply, and accurately, and through this, I hope that it will be a precious opportunity to show the pride and influence of our people, and enjoy the side effects that come from it, and to spread and inform the world of the message of love that God has given us through Hangul.
