컨트리 음악이란?

컨트리(컨트리 앤 웨스턴이라 또한 불리운다)는 미국 남부와 남서부에서 기원한 음악장르이다. 1920년대 처음 만들어졌으며, 컨트리는 주로 미국의 노동 계급과 미국의 노동자 삶에 초점을 맞춘다.

컨트리 음악은

밴조, 피들, 하모니카 및 다양한 유형의 기타(어쿠스틱 기타, 전자기타, 스틸기타 및 리조네이터 기타)가 수반되는 단순한 형태,포크 가사,화음을 가진 발라드와 춤곡조(또한 혼키- 통크로 알려진)로 알려져 있다.

The term country music gained popularity in the 1940s in preference to hillbilly music;

it came to encompass Western music , which evolved parallel to hillbilly music from similar roots, in the mid-20th century.

Contemporary styles of Western music include Texas country , red dirt , and Hispano - and Mexican American -led Tejano and New Mexico music , all extant alongside longstanding indigenous traditions .

In 2009, in the United States, country music was the most listened to rush hour radio genre during the evening commute, and second most popular in the morning commute.

락 (락음악)

락(락음악) 1940년대말과 1950년대 초에 미국 락앤롤에서 탄생한 대중음악의 한 장르(분야)이다.

1960년대 중후반 특히 미국과 영국에서 여러 다양한 스타일로 발전하게 된다.

락은 1940년와 1950년대 락앤롤을 그 뿌리로 하고 있다. 락앤롤은 블루스와 미 흑인들의 리듬앤 블루스,그리고 컨트리 음악 장르에서 직접적으로 파생된 장르이다.

또한,락도 특히 전자기타의 블루스와 포크음악과 같은 다른 많은 장르에서 파생되었다

그리고 재즈와 클래식, 다른 음악 스타일부터의 그 영향을 통합하였다.

그리고 악기 구성면에 있어서 락은 전자기타를 그 중심축으로 한다. 보통 전자 베이스기타,드럼,그리고 한명또는 한명이상의 가수가 락의 부분이 된다.
