Beurer one-button operation - it couldn't be simpler. However, this does not mean you have to sacrifice safety or precision; the WHO indicator and irregular heartbeat detector guarantee a safe and fast analysis of your values. The large XL display ensures that all values are clear to read.

The wrist blood pressure monitor is used for non-invasive measurement and monitoring of adults' arterial blood pressure. This allows you to quickly and easily measure your blood pressure and to display the last recorded measurement. The values determined are classified and graphically eval‎uated according to WHO guidelines.

Blood pressure measurements determined by this monitor are equivalent to those obtained by a trained observer using the cuff/stethoscope auscultation method, within the limits prescribed by the American National Standard Institute, Electronic or automated sphygmomanometers.

Blood Pressure - The pressure exurted by circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels; constitutes one of the principal vital signs. Arterial blood pressure is constantly fluctuating during the course of the cardiac cycle The highest pressure in the cycle is called the systolic blood pressure, and represents the pressure in the artery when the heart is beating. The lowest pressure is the diastolic blood pressure, and represents the pressure in the artery when the heart is at rest. Both the systolic and diastolic pressure are necessary for a physician to eval‎uate the status of a patient's blood pressure. Many factors such as physical activity, anxiety, stress, eating, smoking, medication or the time of the day, can influence your blood pressure. Blood pressure is typically low in the mornings and increases from the afternoon to the evening. It is on average lower in the summer and higher in the winter.
