5>Everyone is a sinner. <Summary>
<Rom 3:9>2025.10.19. <Juil> Rev. Kim Ho-il of Osaka's beloved church.
Today's churches only emphasize faith, but the Bible emphasizes repentance and faith, not just faith. If you only emphasize faith, those who believe in it will not repent even if they commit crimes because they take sin lightly. If you repent, you will surely see your sins smaller, weaker, farther away, and disappear. However, if you do not repent, sins will accumulate, so you become habitual sins, stronger, addicted to them, and they will be dragged around, falling for sins and ruined because of them. If you emphasize repentance, everyone only thinks of the sins committed by action. Of course, you must repent for your failure to obey the word. But more importantly, you must repent for your failure to love God and your neighbors. Also, repent of the evils of your own heart. The Holy Spirit is in us when we receive Jesus. The Holy Spirit wants to bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit among those who believe. This is because only when the Holy Spirit bears fruit, you resemble Jesus. My heart resembles a devil because I have sinned and lived while serving the devil as a master for many years. You cannot enter heaven in this way. A person who resembles a devil cannot live even if he enters heaven. This is because everyone is coming to resemble Jesus. So those who believe in Jesus and have been saved must now repent to bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Also, repentance is about changing your mind when you first greet Jesus. I am changing my mind and confessing that I will not serve the devil as a master from today. And I repent to God. I have served the devil as a master until now. Forgive me. Now I will serve Jesus as a master. And at this time, I command the Satan devil to leave me right now. I will not serve you as a master from today. And I promise to serve Jesus as a king as your master. Jesus is in me. I welcome you as a savior. Forgive my sins, if you confess like this, he will come into us as the Holy Spirit and bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. This is how everyone resembles Jesus in general. In chapter 3 of Rom, in general, everyone is a sinner. The second half emphasizes that you gain righteousness by faith, not by conducting acts of the law. Jews protest that if they are the same sinners as strangers, what is the privilege of being Jewish and what is the benefit of circumcision? Therefore, in verse 3, the privilege of Jews is those who have been told as God's people. This is undeniable. But what's more important is whether you live according to the word. Even today, it is God's grace for believers to know and hear God's words. However, it is more important whether you repent to live according to God's words. He emphasizes that it is God's declaration that all men are sinners and that all are under sin, while the Jews argue that the Jews are also sinners. That is why he declared that there is no righteousness, that there is no one, that there is no one who realizes it, that there is no one who seeks God, and that all are under sin. Sections 13-15 also point out sins, but our throats are open tombs. His tongue does tricks, his lips are poisonous. His mouth is full of curses and venom, and his feet are quick to bleed. These words are the sins of the words 1> 2>action. Let me point out the sins of words first. Words are his or her heart. You say what's on your mind. Throat, tongue, lips, mouth, etc. emphasize the channels through which words come out. They also emphasize their feet, pointing out the sins of their actions. They walk around on their feet and commit sins. And finally, they point out the sins of not being afraid of God.
