계약 궤를 성전에 모시다

[1] 그러고 나서 솔로몬은 주님의 계약 궤를 시온, 곧 다윗 성에서 모시고 올라오려고, 이스라엘의 원로들과

이스라엘 자손들의 각 가문 대표인 지파의 우두머리들을 모두 예루살렘으로 자기 앞에 소집하였다. 

At the order of Solomon, the elders of Israel and all the leaders of the tribes, the princes in the ancestral houses

of the Israelites, came to King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD'S covenant from the city of

David (which is Zion).

        A questo punto Salomone convocò in assemblea a Gerusalemme gli anziani di Israele, tutti i capitribù, i

        principi dei casa ti degli Israeliti, per trasportare l'arca dell'alleanza del Signore dalla città di Davide, cioè da

        Sion. 

    Salomon rassembla auprès de lui à Jérusalem les anciens d’Israël et tous les chefs des tribus, les chefs de

    famille des fils d’Israël, pour aller chercher l’arche de l’Alliance du Seigneur dans la Cité de David, c’est-à-dire à

    Sion.
Tunc congregavit Salomon om nes maiores natu Israel — omnes principes tribuum, duces familiarum filiorum

Israel ad regem Salomonem — in Ierusalem, ut deferrent arcam foederis Domini de civitate David, id est de Sion.

[2] 이스라엘 사람들은 모두 에타님 달, 곧 일곱째 달의 축제 때에 솔로몬 임금 앞으로 모였다. 

All the men of Israel assembled before King Solomon during the festival in the month of Ethanim (the seventh

month).

       Tutto Israele si radunò presso il re Salomone per la festa, nel mese di Etanim, cioè il settimo mese. 

    Tous les hommes d’Israël se rassemblèrent auprès du roi Salomon au septième mois, durant la fête des Tentes.
Convenitque ad regem Salomonem universus Israel in mense Ethanim in sollemnitate, ipse est mensis septimus.

[3] 이스라엘의 모든 원로가 도착하자 사제들이 궤를 메었다. 

When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the priests took up the ark;

        Presenti tutti gli anziani di Israele, l'arca del Signore fu sollevata 

    Quand tous les anciens d’Israël furent arrivés, les prêtres se chargèrent de l’Arche.
Veneruntque cuncti senes Israel, et tulerunt sacerdotes arcam

[4] 그들은 주님의 궤뿐 아니라 만남의 천막과 그 천막 안에 있는 거룩한 기물들도 모두 가지고 올라갔는데, 사제와

레위인들이 그것들을 가지고 올라갔다.

they carried the ark of the LORD and the meeting tent with all the sacred vessels that were in the tent. (The

priests and Levites carried them.)

        e i sacerdoti e i leviti la trasportarono> con la tenda del convegno e con tutti gli arredi sacri che erano

        nella tenda.

    Ils emportèrent l’arche du Seigneur et la tente de la Rencontre avec tous les objets sacrés qui s’y trouvaient ; ce

    sont les prêtres et les lévites qui les transportèrent.
et portaverunt arcam Domini et tabernaculum conventus et omnia vasa sanctuarii, quae erant in tabernaculo; et

ferebant ea sacerdotes et Levitae.

[5] 솔로몬 임금과 그 앞에 모여든 이스라엘의 온 공동체가 함께 궤 앞에서, 헤아릴 수도 없고 셀 수도 없이 많은

양과 황소를 잡아 바쳤다. 

King Solomon and the entire community of Israel present for the occasion sacrificed before the ark sheep and

oxen too many to number or count.

        Il re Salomone e tutta la comunità di Israele, convenuta presso di lui, immolavano davanti all'arca pecore e

        buoi che non si contavano né si calcolavano. 

    Le roi Salomon et, avec lui, toute la communauté d’Israël qu’il avait convoquée auprès de lui devant l’Arche

    offrirent en sacrifice des moutons et des bœufs : il y en avait un si grand nombre qu’on ne pouvait ni le

    compter ni l’évaluer.
Rex autem Salomon et universus coetus Israel, qui convenerat ad eum, cum illo ante arcam immolabant oves et

boves absque aestimatione et numero.

[6] 그러고 나서 사제들이 주님의 계약 궤를 제자리에, 곧 집의 안쪽 성소인 지성소 안 커룹들의 날개 아래에 들여다

놓았다. 

The priests brought the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place beneath the wings of the cherubim in the

sanctuary, the holy of holies of the temple.

        I sacerdoti introdussero l'arca dell'alleanza del Signore al suo posto nella cella del tempio, cioè nel Santo

        dei santi, sotto le ali dei cherubini. 

    Puis les prêtres transportèrent l’Arche à sa place, dans la Chambre sainte que l’on appelle le Saint des saints,

    sous les ailes des kéroubim.

Et intulerunt sacerdotes arcam foederis Domini in locum suum in Dabir templi, in sanctum sanctorum, subter alas

cherubim;

[7] 커룹들은 궤가 있는 자리 위에 날개를 펼쳐 궤와 채를 덮었다. 

The cherubim had their wings spread out over the place of the ark, sheltering the ark and its poles from above.

        Difatti i cherubini stendevano le ali sopra l'arca; essi coprivano l'arca e le sue stanghe dall'alto. 

    Ceux-ci, en effet, étendaient leurs ailes au-dessus de l’emplacement de l’Arche : ils protégeaient l’Arche et ses

    barres.
siquidem cherubim expandebant alas super locum arcae et protegebant arcam et vectes eius desuper.

[8] 그 채들은 끝이 안쪽 성소 앞에 있는 성소에서 보일 정도로 길었다. 그러나 밖에서는 보이지 않았다. 그 채들은

오늘날까지 그곳에 남아 있다. 

The poles were so long that their ends could be seen from that part of the holy place adjoining the sanctuary;

however, they could not be seen beyond. (They have remained there to this day.)

        Le stanghe erano più lunghe, per questo le loro punte si vedevano dal Santo di fronte alla cella, ma non si

        vedevano di fuori; tali cose ci sono fino ad oggi. 

    Les barres étaient si longues que l’on pouvait voir leurs extrémités depuis le sanctuaire, devant la Chambre

    sainte ; mais on ne les voyait pas de l’extérieur. Elles y sont encore à ce jour.
Cumque eminerent vectes et apparerent summitates eorum foris in sanctuario ante Dabir, non apparebant ultra

extrinsecus; qui et fuerunt ibi usque in praesentem diem.

[9] 궤 안에는 두 개의 돌 판 말고는 아무것도 없었다. 그 돌 판들은 이스라엘 자손들이 이집트 땅에서 나올 때,

주님께서 그들과 계약을 맺으신 호렙에서 모세가 넣어 둔 것이다.

There was nothing in the ark but the two stone tablets which Moses had put there at Horeb, when the LORD

made a covenant with the Israelites at their departure from the land of Egypt.

        Nell'arca non c'era nulla se non le due tavole di pietra, che vi aveva deposte Mosè sull'Oreb, cioè le tavole

        dell'alleanza conclusa dal Signore con gli Israeliti quando uscirono dal paese d'Egitto. 

    Dans l’Arche, il n’y avait rien, sinon les deux tables de pierre que Moïse y avait placées au mont Horeb, quand

    le Seigneur avait conclu alliance avec les fils d’Israël, à leur sortie du pays d’Égypte.
In arca autem non erat aliud nisi duae tabulae lapideae, quas posuerat in ea Moyses in Horeb, quando pepigit

Dominus foedus cum filiis Israel, cum egrederentur de terra Aegypti.

[10] 사제들이 성소에서 나올 때에 구름이 주님의 집을 가득 채웠다.

When the priests left the holy place, the cloud filled the temple of the LORD

        Quand les prêtres sortirent du sanctuaire, la nuée remplit la maison du Seigneur,

Factum est autem cum exissent sacerdotes de sanctuario, nebula implevit domum Domini,

[11] 사제들은 그 구름 때문에 서서 일을 할 수가 없었다. 주님의 영광이 주님의 집에 가득 찼던 것이다. 

so that the priests could no longer minister because of the cloud, since the LORD'S glory had filled the temple of

the LORD.

        e i sacerdoti non poterono rimanervi per compiere il servizio a causa della nube, perché la gloria del

        Signore riempiva il tempio. 

    et, à cause d’elle, les prêtres durent interrompre le service divin : la gloire du Seigneur remplissait la maison du 

    Seigneur !
et non poterant sacerdotes stare et ministrare propter nebulam; impleverat enim gloria Domini domum Domini.

[12] 그때 솔로몬이 말하였다. “주님께서는 짙은 구름 속에 계시겠다고 하셨습니다. 

Then Solomon said, "The LORD intends to dwell in the dark cloud;

         Allora Salomone disse:
         "Il Signore ha deciso di abitare sulla nube. 

    Alors Salomon s’écria : « Le Seigneur déclare demeurer dans la nuée obscure.
Tunc ait Salomon:
“ Dominus dixit ut habitaret in nebula.

[13] 그런데 제가 당신을 위하여 웅장한 집을 지었습니다. 당신께서 영원히 머무르실 곳입니다.” 

I have truly built you a princely house, a dwelling where you may abide forever."

         Io ti ho costruito una casa potente,
         un luogo per la tua dimora perenne". 

    Et maintenant, je t’ai construit, Seigneur, une maison somptueuse, un lieu où tu habiteras éternellement. »
Aedificans aedificavi domum in habitaculum tuum,
firmissimum solium tuum in sempiternum ”.

[14] 임금은 얼굴을 돌려, 모여 서 있는 이스라엘 온 회중에게 축복하고 나서 

The king turned and greeted the whole community of Israel as they stood.

         Il re si voltò e benedisse tutta l'assemblea di Israele, mentre tutti i presenti stavano in piedi. 

    Puis le roi se retourna et bénit toute l’assemblée d’Israël ; or toute l’assemblée d’Israël se tenait debout.
Convertitque rex faciem suam et benedixit omni ecclesiae Israel; omnis enim ecclesia Israel stabat.

[15] 말하였다. “나의 아버지 다윗에게 친히 말씀하신 것을 손수 실현해 주신 주 이스라엘의 하느님께서는

찬미받으소서! 주님께서는 이렇게 말씀하셨소.

He said to them: "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who with his own mouth made a promise to my father

David and by his hand has brought it to fulfillment. It was he who said,

        Salomone disse: "Benedetto il Signore, Dio di Israele, che ha adempiuto con potenza quanto aveva

        promesso con la sua bocca a Davide mio padre: 

    Il dit : « Béni soit le Seigneur, le Dieu d’Israël ! De sa bouche, il a parlé à David mon père et, de sa main, il a 

    accompli ce qu’il avait dit :
Et ait: “ Benedictus Dominus, Deus Israel, qui locutus est ore suo ad David patrem meum et in manibus suis

perfecit dicens:

[16] ‘나는 내 백성 이스라엘을 이집트에서 이끌어 낸 날부터, 이스라엘의 어느 지파에서도 내 이름이 머무를 집을

지을 성읍을 선택한 적이 없다. 다만 다윗을 선택하여 내 백성 이스라엘을 다스리게 하였다.’ 

'Since the day I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city out of any tribe of Israel for the

building of a temple to my honor; but I choose David to rule my people Israel.'

        Da quando ho fatto uscire Israele mio popolo dall'Egitto, io non mi sono scelto una città fra tutte le tribù di

        Israele perché mi si costruisse una casa, ove abitasse il mio nome; ora mi sono scelto Gerusalemme perché

        vi dimori il mio nome e mi sono scelto Davide perché sia capo del popolo di Israele. 

    “Depuis le jour où j’ai fait sortir d’Égypte mon peuple Israël, je n’ai choisi aucune ville entre toutes les tribus

    d’Israël pour y construire une maison où serait mon nom. Mais j’ai choisi David pour qu’il soit le chef de mon

    peuple Israël.”
“A die qua eduxi populum meum Israel de Aegypto, non elegi civitatem de universis tribubus Israel, ut

aedificaretur domus, et esset nomen meum ibi; sed elegi David, ut esset super populum meum Israel”.

[17] 나의 아버지 다윗께서는 주 이스라엘의 하느님의 이름을 위한 집을 지으려는 마음을 품으셨소.

When my father David wished to build a temple to the honor of the LORD, the God of Israel,

        Davide mio padre aveva deciso di costruire un tempio al nome del Signore, Dio di Israele, 

    Or David, mon père, avait pris à cœur de construire une maison pour le nom du Seigneur, le Dieu d’Israël.
Voluitque David pater meus aedificare domum nomini Domini, Dei Israel,

[18] 그러나 주님께서는 나의 아버지 다윗에게 말씀하셨소. ‘네가 내 이름을 위한 집을 지으려는 마음을 품었으니,

그런 마음을 품은 것은 잘한 일이다. 

the LORD said to him, 'In wishing to build a temple to my honor, you do well.

        ma il Signore gli disse: Tu hai pensato di edificare un tempio al mio nome; hai fatto bene a formulare tale

        progetto. 

    Mais le Seigneur a dit à David, mon père : “Tu as pris à cœur de construire une maison pour mon nom, et tu

    as bien fait de prendre cela à cœur.
et ait Dominus ad David patrem meum: “Quod cogitasti in corde tuo aedificare domum nomini meo, bene fecisti

hoc ipsum mente tractans;

[19] 그러나 너는 그 집을 짓지 못한다. 네 몸에서 태어날 너의 아들이 내 이름을 위한 그 집을 지을 것이다.’

It will not be you, however, who will build the temple; but the son who will spring from you, he shall build the

temple to my honor.'

        Non tu costruirai il tempio, ma il figlio che uscirà dai tuoi fianchi, lui costruirà un tempio al mio nome. 

    Cependant, ce n’est pas toi qui construiras la maison, mais ton fils, issu de toi : c’est lui qui construira la

    maison pour mon nom.”
verumtamen tu non aedificabis domum sed filius tuus, qui egredietur de lumbis tuis, ipse aedificabit domum

nomini meo”.

[20] 이제 주님께서는 말씀하신 것을 이렇게 이루셨소. 나는 주님께서 말씀하신 대로 나의 아버지 다윗의 뒤를 이어

이스라엘의 왕좌에 올랐고, 주 이스라엘의 하느님의 이름을 위한 집을 지었소.

And now the LORD has fulfilled the promise that he made: I have succeeded my father David and sit on the

throne of Israel, as the LORD foretold, and I have built this temple to honor the LORD, the God of Israel.

        Il Signore ha attuato la parola che aveva pronunziata; io ho preso il posto di Davide mio padre, mi sono

        seduto sul trono di Israele, come aveva preannunziato il Signore, e ho costruito il tempio al nome del

        Signore, Dio di Israele. 

    Le Seigneur a réalisé la parole qu’il avait dite, et j’ai succédé à David, mon père, je me suis assis sur le trône

    d’Israël, comme l’avait dit le Seigneur, et j’ai construit la maison pour le nom du Seigneur, le Dieu d’Israël.
Confirm‎‍avit Dominus sermonem suum, quem locutus est; stetique pro David patre meo et sedi super thronum

Israel, sicut locutus est Dominus, et aedificavi domum nomini Domini, Dei Israel.

[21] 또한 주님께서 우리 조상들을 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내실 때에 그들과 맺으신 계약을 넣은 궤를 둘 곳을 여기에

마련하였소.” 

I have provided in it a place for the ark in which is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers

when he brought them out of the land of Egypt."

        In esso ho fissato un posto per l'arca, dove c'è l'alleanza che il Signore aveva conclusa con i nostri padri

        quando li fece uscire dal paese di Egitto". 

    Là j’ai fixé un emplacement pour l’Arche où se trouve l’Alliance du Seigneur, l’Alliance qu’il a conclue avec nos

    pères lorsqu’il les fit sortir du pays d’Égypte. »
Et constitui ibi locum arcae, in qua foedus est Domini, quod percussit cum patribus nostris, quando eduxit eos de

terra Aegypti ”.

솔로몬의 기도
[22] 그러고 나서 솔로몬은 이스라엘 온 회중이 보는 가운데 주님의 제단 앞에 서서, 하늘을 향하여 두 손을 펼치고 

Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of the whole community of Israel, and stretching

forth his hands toward heaven,

        Poi Salomone si pose davanti all'altare del Signore, di fronte a tutta l'assemblea di Israele, e, stese le mani

        verso il cielo, 

    Salomon se plaça devant l’autel du Seigneur, en face de toute l’assemblée d’Israël ; il étendit les mains vers le

    ciel
Stetit autem Salomon ante altare Domini in conspectu omnis ecclesiae Israel et expandit manus suas in caelum

[23] 이렇게 기도하였다. “주 이스라엘의 하느님, 위로 하늘이나 아래로 땅 그 어디에도 당신 같은 하느님은

없습니다. 마음을 다하여 당신 앞에서 걷는 종들에게 당신은 계약을 지키시고 자애를 베푸시는 분이십니다.

he said, "LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below; you keep your

covenant of kindness with your servants who are faithful to you with their whole heart.

        disse: "Signore, Dio di Israele, non c'è un Dio come te, né lassù nei cieli né quaggiù sulla terra! Tu mantieni

        l'alleanza e la misericordia con i tuoi servi che camminano davanti a te con tutto il cuore. 

    et fit cette prière : « Seigneur, Dieu d’Israël, il n’y a pas de Dieu comme toi, ni là-haut dans les cieux, ni sur la

    terre ici-bas ; car tu gardes ton Alliance et ta fidélité envers tes serviteurs, quand ils marchent devant toi de

    tout leur cœur.
et ait: “ Domine, Deus Israel, non est similis tui Deus in caelo desuper et super terra deorsum, qui custodis

pactum et misericordiam servis tuis, qui ambulant coram te in toto corde suo;

[24] 또한 당신께서는 당신의 종 제 아버지 다윗에게 말씀하신 것을 지키셨습니다. 친히 말씀하신 것을 오늘 이처럼

손수 실현해 주신 것입니다.

You have kept the promise you made to my father David, your servant. You who spoke that promise, have this

day, by your own power, brought it to fulfillment.

         Tu hai mantenuto nei riguardi del tuo servo Davide mio padre quanto gli avevi promesso; quanto avevi

         detto con la bocca l'hai adempiuto con potenza, come appare oggi. 

     Tu as gardé pour ton serviteur David, mon père, ce que tu lui avais dit ; et ce que tu lui avais dit de ta bouche,

    aujourd’hui tu l’as accompli de ta main.
qui custodisti servo tuo David patri meo, quae locutus es ei; ore locutus es et manibus perfecisti, ut et haec dies

probat.

[25] 그러니 이제 주 이스라엘의 하느님, 당신의 종 제 아버지 다윗에게, ‘네가 내 앞에서 걸은 것처럼 네 자손들도 내

앞에서 걸으며 제 길을 지켜 나가기만 하면, 네 자손들 가운데 이스라엘의 왕좌에 앉을 사람이 내 앞에서 끊어지지

않을 것이다.’ 하고 말씀하신 것을 지켜 주십시오.

Now, therefore, LORD, God of Israel, keep the further promise you made to my father David, your servant, saying,

'You shall always have someone from your line to sit before me on the throne of Israel, provided only that your

descendants look to their conduct so that they live in my presence, as you have lived in my presence.'

        Ora, Signore Dio di Israele, mantieni al tuo servo Davide mio padre quanto gli hai promesso: Non ti

        mancherà un discendente che stia davanti a me e sieda sul trono di Israele, purché i tuoi figli veglino sulla

        loro condotta camminando davanti a me come vi hai camminato tu. 

    Et maintenant, Seigneur, Dieu d’Israël, par égard pour ton serviteur David, mon père, garde la parole que tu lui

    avais dite : “Tes descendants qui siégeront sur le trône d’Israël ne seront pas écartés de ma présence, pourvu

    que tes fils veillent à suivre leur chemin en marchant devant moi, comme tu as marché devant moi.”
Nunc igitur, Domine, Deus Israel, conserva famulo tuo David patri meo, quae locutus es ei dicens: “Non auferetur

de te vir coram me, qui sedeat super thronum Israel, ita tamen, si custodierint filii tui viam suam, ut ambulent

coram me, sicut tu ambulasti in conspectu meo”.

[26] 그러므로 이제 이스라엘의 하느님, 당신의 종 제 아버지 다윗에게 하신 말씀이 진실하다는 것을 드러내 주십시오.

Now, LORD, God of Israel, may this promise which you made to my father David, your servant, be confirmed.

        Ora, Signore Dio di Israele, si adempia la parola che tu hai rivolta a Davide mio padre. 

    Maintenant donc, Dieu d’Israël, que se vérifie la parole que tu as dite à ton serviteur David, mon père !
Et nunc, Domine, Deus Israel, firmentur verba tua, quae locutus es servo tuo David patri meo.

[27] 그러나 어찌 하느님께서 땅 위에 계시겠습니까? 저 하늘, 하늘 위의 하늘도 당신을 모시지 못할 터인데, 제가

지은 이 집이야 오죽하겠습니까? 

"Can it indeed be that God dwells among men on earth? If the heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain

you, how much less this temple which I have built!

        Ma è proprio vero che Dio abita sulla terra? Ecco i cieli e i cieli dei cieli non possono contenerti, tanto

        meno questa casa che io ho costruita! 

    Est-ce que, vraiment, Dieu habiterait sur la terre ? Les cieux et les hauteurs des cieux ne peuvent te contenir : 

    encore moins cette Maison que j’ai bâtie !
Ergone putandum est quod vere Deus habitet super terram? Si enim caelum et caeli caelorum te capere non

possunt, quanto magis domus haec, quam aedificavi!

[28] 그러나 주 저의 하느님, 당신 종의 기도와 간청을 돌아보시어, 오늘 당신 종이 당신 앞에서 드리는 이

부르짖음과 기도를 들어 주십시오.

Look kindly on the prayer and petition of your servant, O LORD, my God, and listen to the cry of supplication

which I, your servant, utter before you this day.

        Volgiti alla preghiera del tuo servo e alla sua supplica, Signore mio Dio; ascolta il grido e la preghiera che il

        tuo servo oggi innalza davanti a te! 

    Sois attentif à la prière et à la supplication de ton serviteur. Écoute, Seigneur mon Dieu, la prière et le cri qu’il

    lance aujourd’hui vers toi.
Sed respice ad orationem servi tui et ad preces eius, Domine Deus meus; audi clamorem et orationem, quam

servus tuus orat coram te hodie,

[29] 그리하여 당신의 눈을 뜨시고 밤낮으로 이 집을, 곧 당신께서 ‘내 이름이 거기에 머무를 것이다.’ 하고 말씀하신

이곳을 살피시어, 당신 종이 이곳을 향하여 드리는 기도를 들어 주십시오. 

May your eyes watch night and day over this temple, the place where you have decreed you shall be honored;

may you heed the prayer which I, your servant, offer in this place.

        Siano aperti i tuoi occhi notte e giorno verso questa casa, verso il luogo di cui hai detto: Lì sarà il mio

        nome! Ascolta la preghiera che il tuo servo innalza in questo luogo. 

    Que tes yeux soient ouverts nuit et jour sur cette Maison, sur ce lieu dont tu as dit : “C’est ici que sera mon

    nom.” Écoute donc la prière que ton serviteur fera en ce lieu.
ut sint oculi tui aperti super domum hanc nocte ac die, super locum, de quo dixisti: “Erit nomen meum ibi”, ut

exaudias orationem, qua orat te servus tuus in loco isto,

[30] 또한 당신 종과 당신 백성 이스라엘이 이곳을 향하여 드리는 간청을 들어 주십시오. 부디 당신께서는 계시는 곳

하늘에서 들어 주십시오. 들으시고 용서해 주십시오. 

Listen to the petitions of your servant and of your people Israel which they offer in this place. Listen from your

heavenly dwelling and grant pardon.

        Ascolta la supplica del tuo servo e di Israele tuo popolo, quando pregheranno in questo luogo. Ascoltali

        dal luogo della tua dimora, dal cielo; ascolta e perdona. 

    Écoute la supplication de ton serviteur et de ton peuple Israël, lorsqu’ils prieront en ce lieu. Toi, dans les

    cieux où tu habites, écoute et pardonne.
ut exaudias deprecationem servi tui et populi tui Israel, quodcumque oraverint in loco isto, et exaudies in loco

habitaculi tui in caelo et, cum exaudieris, propitius eris.

[31] 누구든지 이웃에게 죄를 짓고 자신에게 저주를 씌우는 맹세를 하게 되어, 이 집에 있는 당신 제단 앞에 와서

맹세하면,

"If a man sins against his neighbor and is required to take an oath sanctioned by a curse, when he comes and

takes the oath before your altar in this temple,

        Se uno pecca contro il suo fratello e, perché gli è imposto un giuramento di imprecazione, viene a giurare

        davanti al tuo altare in questo tempio, 

    Lorsqu’un homme aura péché contre son prochain et qu’on lui imposera un serment qui peut se retourner

    contre lui, s’il vient à prêter ce serment devant ton autel dans cette Maison,
Si peccaverit homo in proximum suum et habuerit aliquod iuramentum, quo teneatur astrictus, et venerit propter

iuramentum coram altari tuo in domum istam,

[32] 당신께서는 하늘에서 들으시고 행동하시어, 당신 종들에게 판결을 내려 주십시오. 그리하여 죄 있는 자에게는

유죄 판결을 내리시어 그의 행실에 따라 그 머리 위로 갚으시고, 의로운 이에게는 무죄 판결을 내리시어 그

의로움에 따라 그에게 갚아 주십시오. 

listen in heaven; take action and pass judgment on your servants. Condemn the wicked and punish him for his

conduct, but acquit the just and establish his innocence.

        tu ascoltalo dal cielo, intervieni e fà giustizia con i tuoi servi; condanna l'empio, facendogli ricadere sul capo

        la sua condotta, e dichiara giusto l'innocente rendendogli quanto merita la sua innocenza. 

    toi, dans les cieux, écoute, agis et juge tes serviteurs. Déclare coupable le coupable : que sa conduite retombe

    sur sa tête ; déclare juste le juste : traite-le selon sa justice.
tu exaudies in caelo et facies et iudicabis servos tuos condemnans impium et reddens viam suam super caput

eius iustificansque iustum et retribuens ei secundum iustitiam suam.

[33] 당신 백성 이스라엘이 당신께 죄를 지어 적에게 패배하였다가도, 당신께 돌아와 이 집에서 당신의 이름을

고백하며 당신께 기도하고 간청하면, 

"If your people Israel sin against you and are defeated by an enemy, and if then they return to you, praise your

name, pray to you, and entreat you in this temple,

        Quando il tuo popolo Israele sarà sconfitto di fronte al nemico perché ha peccato contro di te, se si rivolge

        a te, se loda il tuo nome, se ti prega e ti supplica in questo tempio, 

    Lorsque ton peuple Israël aura été battu devant l’ennemi, pour avoir péché contre toi, s’il revient à toi et

    célèbre ton nom, s’il prie et te supplie dans cette Maison,
Si superatus fuerit populus tuus Israel ab inimicis suis, quia peccaturus est tibi, et agentes paenitentiam et

confitentes nomini tuo venerint et oraverint et deprecati te fuerint in domo hac,

[34] 당신께서는 하늘에서 들으시고 당신 백성 이스라엘의 죄를 용서하시어, 그들의 조상들에게 주신 땅으로

돌아가게 해 주십시오. 

listen in heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them back to the land you gave their fathers.

        tu ascolta dal cielo, perdona il peccato di Israele tuo popolo e fallo tornare nel paese che hai dato ai suoi

        padri. 

    toi, dans les cieux, écoute, pardonne le péché de ton peuple Israël et fais-les revenir sur le sol que tu as donné

    à leurs pères.
exaudi in caelo et dimitte peccatum populi tui Israel et reduces eos in terram, quam dedisti patribus eorum.

[35] 그들이 당신께 죄를 지은 탓으로 하늘이 닫혀 비가 내리지 않을 때에도, 당신께서 그들을 벌하시는 것이므로,

그들이 이 성전을 향하여 기도하며 당신의 이름을 고백하고 자기 죄에서 돌아서면, 

"If the sky is closed, so that there is no rain, because they have sinned against you and you afflict them, and if

then they repent of their sin, and pray, and praise your name in this place,

        Quando si chiuderà il cielo e non ci sarà pioggia perché hanno peccato contro di te, se ti pregano in

        questo luogo, se lodano il tuo nome e si convertono dal loro peccato perché tu li hai umiliati, 

    Lorsque les cieux seront fermés et qu’il n’y aura pas de pluie, parce que les fils d’Israël auront péché contre toi,

    s’ils prient vers ce lieu et célèbrent ton nom, s’ils se détournent de leur péché, parce que tu les auras humiliés,
Si clausum fuerit caelum et non pluerit propter peccata eorum, et oraverint in loco isto confessi nomini tuo et a

peccatis suis conversi propter afflictionem suam,

[36] 당신께서는 하늘에서 들으시고 당신 종들과 이스라엘 백성의 죄를 용서해 주십시오. ─ 정녕 당신께서는 그들이

걸어야 할 좋은 길을 가르쳐 주십니다. ─ 그리고 당신 백성에게 상속 재산으로 주신 당신의 땅에 비를 내려 주십시오. 

listen in heaven and forgive the sin of your servant and of your people Israel, teaching them the right way to live

and sending rain upon this land of yours which you have given to your people as their heritage.

        tu ascolta dal cielo e perdona il peccato dei tuoi servi e di Israele tuo popolo, ai quali indicherai la strada

        buona su cui camminare, e concedi la pioggia alla terra che hai dato in eredità al tuo popolo. 

    toi, dans les cieux, écoute, pardonne le péché de tes serviteurs et de ton peuple Israël. Tu leur enseigneras le

    bon chemin par où ils doivent marcher, et tu accorderas la pluie à ta terre, celle que tu as donnée à ton

    peuple en héritage.
exaudi eos in caelo et dimitte peccata servorum tuorum et populi tui Israel et ostende eis viam bonam, per quam

ambulent, et da pluviam super terram tuam, quam dedisti populo tuo in possessionem.

[37] 이 땅에 기근이 들 때, 흑사병과 마름병과 깜부깃병이 돌거나 메뚜기 떼와 누리 떼가 설칠 때, 적이 성읍을

포위할 때, 온갖 환난과 온갖 질병이 번질 때, 

"If there is famine in the land or pestilence; or if blight comes, or mildew, or a locust swarm, or devouring insects;

if an enemy of your people besieges them in one of their cities; whatever plague or sickness there may be,

        Quando nella regione ci sarà carestia o peste, carbonchio o ruggine, invasione di locuste o di bruchi;

        quando il nemico assedierà il tuo popolo in qualcuna delle sue porte o quando scoppierà un'epidemia o un

        flagello qualsiasi; 

    Lorsqu’il y aura la famine dans le pays, lorsqu’il y aura la peste, la rouille et la nigelle du blé, les sauterelles et

    les criquets, lorsque son ennemi assiégera une ville dans le pays, en tout fléau, en toute maladie,
Fames si oborta fuerit in terra aut pestilentia aut uredo aut aurugo aut locusta vel bruchus, et afflixerit eum

inimicus eius portas obsidens, omnis plaga, universa infirmitas,

[38] 당신 백성 이스라엘이 개인으로나 전체로나 저마다 마음으로 고통을 느끼며, 이 집을 향하여 두 손을 펼치고

무엇이나 기도하고 간청하면,

if then any one (of your entire people Israel) has remorse of conscience and offers some prayer or petition,

stretching out his hands toward this temple,

        se uno qualunque oppure tutto Israele tuo popolo, dopo avere provato il rimorso nel cuore, ti prega o

        supplica con le mani tese verso questo tempio, 

    quel que soit le motif de la prière ou de la supplication émanant de tout homme ou de tout ton peuple Israël,

    dès l’instant où chacun reconnaît la plaie de son cœur et qu’il tend les mains vers cette Maison,
cuncta oratio et deprecatio, quae acciderit omni homini de populo tuo Israel; si quis cognoverit plagam cordis sui

et expanderit manus suas in domo hac,

[39] 당신께서는 계시는 곳 하늘에서 들으시어 용서해 주시고 행동하십시오. 당신께서는 사람의 마음을 아시니, 그

모든 행실에 따라 갚아 주십시오. 당신만이 모든 사람의 마음을 아십니다. 

listen from your heavenly dwelling place and forgive. You who alone know the hearts of all men, render to each

one of them according to his conduct; knowing their hearts, so treat them

        tu ascoltalo dal cielo, luogo della tua dimora, perdona, intervieni e rendi a ognuno secondo la sua

        condotta, tu che conosci il suo cuore - tu solo conosci il cuore di tutti i figli degli uomini - 

    toi, dans les cieux où tu habites, écoute, pardonne et agis. Traite chacun selon toute sa conduite, puisque tu 

    connais son cœur – toi seul, en effet, connais le cœur de tout homme –,
tu audies in caelo in loco habitationis tuae et repropitiaberis et facies, ut des unicuique secundum omnes vias

suas, sicut videris cor eius, quia tu nosti solus cor omnium filiorum hominum,

[40] 그렇게 해 주시면 그들은 당신께서 저희 조상들에게 주신 땅에 사는 동안 언제나 당신을 경외할 것입니다.

that they may fear you as long as they live on the land you gave our fathers.

        perché ti temano durante tutti i giorni della loro vita nel paese che hai dato ai nostri padri. 

    afin qu’ils te craignent, tous les jours qu’ils vivront devant toi sur le sol que tu as donné à nos pères.
ut timeant te cunctis diebus, quibus vivunt super faciem terrae, quam dedisti patribus nostris.

[41] 또한 당신 백성 이스라엘에게 속하지 않은 이방인이라도, 그가 당신 이름 때문에 먼 고장에서 찾아오거든,

"To the foreigner, likewise, who is not of your people Israel, but comes from a distant land to honor you

        Anche lo straniero, che non appartiene a Israele tuo popolo, se viene da un paese lontano a causa del tuo

        nome

    Si donc, à cause de ton nom, un étranger, qui n’est pas de ton peuple Israël, vient d’un pays lointain

Insuper et alienigena, qui non est de populo tuo Israel, cum venerit de terra longinqua propter nomen tuum

[42] 곧 그들이 당신의 위대한 이름을 듣고, 당신의 강한 손과 뻗은 팔이 하신 일을 듣고 와서 이 집을 향하여

기도하면, 

(since men will learn of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm), when he comes and

prays toward this temple,

        perché si sarà sentito parlare del tuo grande nome, della tua mano potente e del tuo braccio teso, se egli

        viene a pregare in questo tempio, 

    prier dans cette Maison,
— audietur enim nomen tuum magnum et manus tua fortis et brachium tuum extentum ubique — cum venerit

ergo et oraverit in hoc loco,

[43] 당신께서는 계시는 곳 하늘에서 들으시고, 그 이방인이 당신께 호소하는 것은 무엇이나 이루어 주십시오.

그렇게 하시면 이 세상 모든 민족들이 당신의 이름을 알아 모시고, 당신의 백성 이스라엘처럼 당신을 경외하게 될

것입니다. 그리고 그들은 제가 지은 이 집이 당신의 이름으로 불리는 것을 알게 될 것입니다. 

listen from your heavenly dwelling. Do all that the foreigner asks of you, that all the peoples of the earth may

know your name, may fear you as do your people Israel, and may acknowledge that this temple which I have

built is dedicated to your honor.

        tu ascoltalo dal cielo, luogo della tua dimora, e soddisfa tutte le richieste dello straniero, perché tutti i

        popoli della terra conoscano il tuo nome, ti temano come Israele tuo popolo e sappiano che al tuo nome è

        stato dedicato questo tempio che io ho costruito. 

    toi, dans les cieux où tu habites, écoute-le. Exauce toutes les demandes de l’étranger. Ainsi, tous les peuples

    de la terre, comme ton peuple Israël, vont reconnaître ton nom et te craindre. Et ils sauront que ton nom est

    invoqué sur cette Maison que j’ai bâtie.
tu exaudies in caelo in loco habitationis tuae et facies omnia, pro quibus invocaverit te alienigena, ut sciant

universi populi terrarum nomen tuum et timeant te, sicut populus tuus Israel, et probent quia nomen tuum

invocatum est super domum hanc, quam aedificavi.

[44] 당신 백성이 적과 싸우러 나갈 때, 당신께서 그들을 어느 길로 보내시든지, 그들이 당신께서 선택하신 도성과

제가 당신의 이름을 위하여 지은 이 집을 향하여 주님께 기도하면,

"Whatever the direction in which you may send your people forth to war against their enemies, if they pray to

you, O LORD, toward the city you have chosen and the temple I have built in your honor,

        Quando il tuo popolo uscirà in guerra contro il suo nemico, seguendo le vie in cui l'avrai indirizzato, se ti

        pregheranno rivolti verso la città che ti sei scelta e verso il tempio che io ho costruito al tuo nome, 

    Lorsque ton peuple partira en guerre contre ses ennemis, dans la direction où tu l’auras envoyé, et qu’il priera

    le Seigneur, tourné vers la Ville que tu as choisie et vers la Maison que j’ai bâtie pour ton nom,
Si egressus fuerit populus tuus ad bellum contra inimicos suos per viam, quocumque miseris eos, et oraverint te

contra viam civitatis, quam elegisti, et contra domum, quam aedificavi nomini tuo,

[45] 당신께서는 하늘에서 그들의 기도와 간청을 들으시고 그들의 사정을 돌보아 주십시오.

listen in heaven to their prayer and petition, and defend their cause.

        ascolta dal cielo la loro preghiera e la loro supplica e rendi loro giustizia. 

    toi, dans les cieux, écoute leur prière et leur supplication, et rends-leur justice.
exaudies in caelo orationes eorum et preces eorum et facies iudicium eorum.

[46] 죄짓지 않는 사람이 어디 있겠습니까? 이 백성도 당신께 죄를 지어, 당신께서 그들에게 화를 내시고 그들을

적에게 넘겨주시면, 이 백성은 멀거나 가까운 적국의 땅에 사로잡혀 가는 신세가 될 것입니다. 

"When they sin against you (for there is no man who does not sin), and in your anger against them you deliver

them to the enemy, so that their captors deport them to a hostile land, far or near,

        Quando peccheranno contro di te, poiché non c'è nessuno che non pecchi, e tu, adirato contro di loro, li

        consegnerai a un nemico e i loro conquistatori li deporteranno in un paese ostile, lontano o vicino, 

    Lorsqu’ils pécheront contre toi – car il n’est pas d’être humain qui ne commette quelque péché – et que tu

    seras irrité contre eux, alors tu les livreras à la merci de leurs ennemis, et leurs vainqueurs les emmèneront

    captifs dans un pays ennemi, lointain ou proche.
Quod si peccaverint tibi — non est enim homo qui non peccet — et iratus tradideris eos inimicis suis, et captivi

ducti fuerint in terram inimicorum longe vel prope

[47] 그러나 사로잡혀 간 땅에서 마음을 돌이켜 회개하고, ‘저희가 죄를 지었습니다. 몹쓸 짓을 하고 악을

저질렀습니다.’ 하며, 사로잡아 간 자들의 땅에서 당신께 간청하면, 

may they repent in the land of their captivity and be converted. If then they entreat you in the land of their

captors and say, 'We have sinned and done wrong; we have been wicked';

        se nel paese in cui saranno deportati rientreranno in se stessi e faranno ritorno a te supplicandoti nel paese

        della loro prigionia, dicendo: Abbiamo peccato, abbiamo agito da malvagi e da empi, 

    Si, au pays où ils auront été emmenés captifs, ils rentrent en eux-mêmes, s’ils se repentent, s’ils élèvent vers toi 

    leur supplication dans le pays de ceux qui les ont faits prisonniers, en disant : “Nous avons péché, nous avons

    commis une faute, nous avons fait ce qui est mal” ;
et egerint paenitentiam in corde suo in loco captivitatis et conversi deprecati te fuerint in captivitate sua dicentes:

“Peccavimus, inique egimus, impie gessimus”;

[48] 그들이 자기들을 사로잡아 간 원수들의 땅에서 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하여 회개하고, 당신께서 그들의

조상들에게 주신 땅과 당신께서 선택하신 이 도성과 제가 당신의 이름을 위하여 지은 이 집을 향하여 기도하면,

if with their whole heart and soul they turn back to you in the land of the enemies who took them captive, pray

to you toward the land you gave their fathers, the city you have chosen, and the temple I have built in your

honor,

        se torneranno a te con tutto il cuore e con tutta l'anima nel paese dei nemici che li avranno deportati, e ti

        supplicheranno rivolti verso il paese che tu hai dato ai loro padri, verso la città che ti sei scelta e verso il

        tempio che io ho costruito al tuo nome, 

    s’ils reviennent à toi de tout leur cœur et de toute leur âme, au pays de leurs ennemis qui les auront

    emmenés captifs, et s’ils prient vers toi, tournés vers le pays que tu as donné à leurs pères, vers la Ville que

    tu as choisie et vers la Maison que j’ai bâtie pour ton nom,
et reversi fuerint ad te in universo corde suo et tota anima sua in terra inimicorum suorum, ad quam captivi ducti

sunt, et oraverint te contra viam terrae suae, quam dedisti patribus eorum, et civitatis, quam elegisti, et templi,

quod aedificavi nomini tuo,

[49] 당신께서는 계시는 곳 하늘에서 그들의 기도와 간청을 들으시고 그들의 사정을 돌보아 주십시오. 

listen from your heavenly dwelling.

        tu ascolta dal cielo, luogo della tua dimora, la loro preghiera e la loro supplica e rendi loro giustizia. 

    toi, dans les cieux où tu habites, écoute leur prière et leur supplication, et rends-leur justice.
exaudies in caelo in firmamento solii tui orationes eorum et preces eorum et facies iudicium eorum;

[50] 또한 당신께 죄를 지은 당신 백성을 용서하여 주십시오. 당신을 거역하여 지은 모든 반역죄를 용서하여 주시고,

사로잡아 간 자들 앞에서도 그들을 가엾이 여기시어 저들이 그들을 가엾이 여기게 해 주십시오. 

Forgive your people their sins and all the offenses they have committed against you, and grant them mercy

before their captors, so that these will be merciful to them.

        Perdona al tuo popolo, che ha peccato contro di te, tutte le ribellioni di cui si è reso colpevole verso di te,

        fà che i suoi deportatori gli usino misericordia, 

    Pardonne à ton peuple qui a péché contre toi, toutes les rebellions dont il s’est rendu coupable envers toi ;

    fais-le prendre en pitié par ses vainqueurs, que ceux-ci les prennent en pitié.
et propitiaberis populo tuo, qui peccavit tibi, et omnibus iniquitatibus eorum, quibus praevaricati sunt in te, et

dabis misericordiam coram eis, qui eos captivos habuerint, ut misereantur eis

[51] 그들은 당신 백성이며 당신 소유로서, 당신께서는 그들을 이집트에서, 그 도가니 한가운데에서 구해 내셨습니다. 

For they are your people and your inheritance, whom you brought out of Egypt, from the midst of an iron

furnace.

        perché si tratta del tuo popolo e della tua eredità, di coloro che hai fatto uscire dall'Egitto, da una fornace

        per fondere il ferro. 

    Parce qu’ils sont ton peuple et ton héritage, eux que tu as fait sortir d’Égypte, de cette fournaise à fondre le

    fer,
— populus enim tuus est et hereditas tua, quos eduxisti de terra Aegypti de medio fornacis ferreae —

[52] 눈을 뜨시어 당신 종의 간청과 당신 백성 이스라엘의 간청을 굽어보시고, 그들이 당신께 부르짖을 때마다

그들의 호소를 들어 주십시오. 

"Thus may your eyes be open to the petition of your servant and to the petition of your people Israel. Hear them

whenever they call upon you,

        Siano attenti i tuoi occhi alla preghiera del tuo servo e del tuo popolo Israele e ascoltali in quanto ti

        chiedono, 

    tes yeux sont ouverts à la supplication de ton serviteur et à la supplication de ton peuple Israël, et tu les

    écoutes toutes les fois qu’ils crient vers toi.
ut sint oculi tui aperti ad deprecationem servi tui et populi tui Israel, et exaudias eos in universis, pro quibus

invocaverint te.

[53] 주 하느님, 당신께서 저희 조상들을 이집트에서 이끌어 내실 때에 당신의 종 모세를 통하여 말씀하신 대로,

세상의 모든 민족들 가운데에서 그들을 가려내시어 당신 소유로 삼으셨기 때문입니다.” 

because you have set them apart among all the peoples of the earth for your inheritance, as you declared

through your servant Moses when you brought our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD."

        perché tu li hai separati da tutti i popoli del paese come tua proprietà secondo quanto avevi dichiarato per

        mezzo di Mosè tuo servo, mentre facevi uscire, o Signore, i nostri padri dall'Egitto". 

    Car c’est toi qui les as séparés de tous les peuples de la terre, pour qu’ils deviennent ton héritage, comme tu

    l’as dit par l’intermédiaire de Moïse ton serviteur, quand tu as fait sortir d’Égypte nos pères, Seigneur notre

    Dieu. »
Tu enim separasti eos tibi in hereditatem de universis populis terrae, sicut locutus es per Moysen servum tuum,

quando eduxisti patres nostros de Aegypto, Domine Deus ”.

솔로몬이 백성에게 축복하고 권고하다
[54] 솔로몬은 이 모든 기도와 간청을 주님께 드리고는 기도가 끝나자, 두 손을 하늘로 펼치고 무릎을 꿇고 있던

주님의 제단 앞에서 일어났다. 

When Solomon finished offering this entire prayer of petition to the LORD, he rose from before the altar of the

LORD, where he had been kneeling with his hands outstretched toward heaven.

        Quando Salomone ebbe finito di rivolgere al Signore questa preghiera e questa supplica, si alzò davanti

        all'altare del Signore, dove era inginocchiato con le palme tese verso il cielo, 

    Quand Salomon eut achevé d’adresser au Seigneur toute cette prière et toute cette supplication, il se releva de

    devant l’autel du Seigneur, là où il s’était incliné et, les mains tendues vers le ciel,
Factum est autem cum complesset Salomon orans Dominum omnem orationem et deprecationem hanc, surrexit

de conspectu altaris Domini; utrumque enim genu in terram fixerat et manus expanderat in caelum.

[55] 그는 일어서서 큰 소리로 이스라엘의 온 회중에게 축복하며 이렇게 말하였다.

He stood and blessed the whole community of Israel, saying in a loud voice:

        si mise in piedi e benedisse tutta l'assemblea di Israele, a voce alta: 

    il se tint debout et bénit toute l’assemblée d’Israël d’une voix forte, en disant :
Stetit ergo et benedixit omni ecclesiae Israel voce magna dicens:

[56] “말씀하신 그대로 당신 백성 이스라엘에게 안식을 주신 주님께서는 찬미받으소서. 주님께서는 당신의 종

모세를 통하여 말씀하신 좋은 것을 하나도 빠뜨리지 않으셨소. 

"Blessed be the LORD who has given rest to his people Israel, just as he promised. Not a single word has gone

unfulfilled of the entire generous promise he made through his servant Moses.

         "Benedetto il Signore, che ha concesso tranquillità a Israele suo popolo, secondo la sua parola. Non è

         venuta meno neppure una delle parole buone che aveva pronunziate per mezzo di Mosè suo servo. 

     « Béni soit le Seigneur ! Comme il l’avait dit, il a donné à son peuple Israël le pays de son repos ; aucune des

     promesses qu’il avait faites par l’intermédiaire de son serviteur Moïse n’est restée sans effet.
“ Benedictus Dominus, qui dedit requiem populo suo Israel iuxta omnia, quae locutus est; non cecidit ne unus

quidem sermo ex omnibus bonis, quae locutus est per Moysen servum suum.

[57] 주 우리 하느님께서 우리 조상들과 함께 계시던 것처럼, 우리와도 함께 계셔 주시기를 빕니다. 우리를 떠나지도

버리지도 않으시기를 빕니다.

May the LORD, our God, be with us as he was with our fathers and may he not forsake us nor cast us off.

        Il Signore nostro Dio sia con noi come è stato con i nostri padri; non ci abbandoni e non ci respinga, 

    Que le Seigneur notre Dieu soit avec nous, comme il a été avec nos pères, qu’il ne nous abandonne pas, qu’il

    ne nous rejette pas !
Sit Dominus Deus noster nobiscum, sicut fuit cum patribus nostris, non derelinquens nos neque proiciens,

[58] 우리 마음을 당신께 기울이게 하시어 당신의 모든 길을 걷고, 우리 조상들에게 명령하신 당신의 계명과 규정과

법규들을 지키게 해 주시기를 빕니다. 

May he draw our hearts to himself, that we may follow him in everything and keep the commands, statutes, and

ordinances which he enjoined on our fathers.

        ma volga piuttosto i nostri cuori verso di lui, perché seguiamo tutte le sue vie e osserviamo i comandi, gli

        statuti e i decreti che ha imposti ai nostri padri. 

    Qu’il incline nos cœurs vers lui, pour que nous suivions tous ses chemins et que nous gardions les

    commandements, les décrets et les ordonnances qu’il a donnés à nos pères.

sed inclinet corda nostra ad se, ut ambulemus in universis viis eius et custodiamus mandata eius et decreta et

iudicia, quaecumque mandavit patribus nostris.

[59] 주님 앞에 드린 이 간청의 말씀이 낮이나 밤이나 주 우리 하느님 가까이 있어, 주님께서 당신 종과 당신 백성

이스라엘의 사정을 날마다 그에 맞게 돌보아 주시기를 빕니다. 

May this prayer I have offered to the LORD, our God, be present to him day and night, that he may uphold the

cause of his servant and of his people Israel as each day requires,

        Queste parole, usate da me per supplicare il Signore, siano presenti davanti al Signore nostro Dio, giorno e

        notte, perché renda giustizia al suo servo e a Israele suo popolo secondo le necessità di ogni giorno. 

    Ces supplications que j’ai prononcées devant le Seigneur notre Dieu, qu’elles lui restent présentes jour et nuit,

    afin qu’il rende justice à moi son serviteur et à son peuple Israël, jour après jour.
Et sint sermones mei isti, quibus deprecatus sum coram Domino, appropinquantes Domino Deo nostro die ac

nocte, ut faciat iudicium servo suo et populo suo Israel per singulos dies,

[60] 그리하여 주님만이 하느님이시고 다른 신은 없다는 것을 세상의 모든 민족들이 알게 되기를 빕니다.

that all the peoples of the earth may know the LORD is God and there is no other.

        Allora tutti i popoli della terra sapranno che il Signore è Dio e che non ce n'è altri. 

    Tous les peuples de la terre sauront alors que c’est le Seigneur qui est Dieu, il n’y en a pas d’autre.
ut sciant omnes populi terrae quia Dominus ipse est Deus, et non est ultra absque eo.

[61] 그러므로 주 우리 하느님께 여러분의 마음을 한결같게 하여, 오늘과 같이 주님의 규정대로 걷고 그분의 계명을

지키도록 하시오.”

You must be wholly devoted to the LORD, our God, observing his statutes and keeping his commandments, as on

this day."

        Il vostro cuore sarà tutto dedito al Signore nostro Dio, perché cammini secondo i suoi decreti e osservi i

        suoi comandi, come avviene oggi". 

    Alors, en observant ses décrets et en gardant ses commandements, votre cœur sera tout entier au Seigneur

    notre Dieu, comme aujourd’hui. »
Sit quoque cor vestrum perfectum cum Domino Deo nostro, ut ambuletis in decretis eius et custodiatis mandata

eius sicut et hodie ”.

성전을 봉헌하다
[62] 그런 다음, 임금은 온 이스라엘 백성과 함께 주님 앞에 희생 제물을 바쳤다. 

The king and all Israel with him offered sacrifices before the LORD.

        Il re e tutto Israele offrirono un sacrificio davanti al Signore. 

    Le roi et tout Israël avec lui offraient des sacrifices devant le Seigneur.
Igitur rex et omnis Israel cum eo immolabant victimas coram Domino.

[63] 솔로몬은 주님께 친교 제물을 바쳤는데, 황소 이만 이천 마리와 양 십이만 마리를 바쳤다. 이렇게 임금과 온

이스라엘 자손들이 주님의 집을 봉헌하였다. 

Solomon offered as peace offerings to the LORD twenty-two thousand oxen and one hundred twenty thousand

sheep. Thus the king and all the Israelites dedicated the temple of the LORD.

        Salomone immolò al Signore, in sacrificio di comunione, ventiduemila buoi e centoventimila pecore; così il

        re e tutti gli Israeliti dedicarono il tempio al Signore. 

    Salomon offrit en sacrifice vingt-deux mille bœufs et cent vingt mille moutons, sacrifice de paix qu’il offrait au

    Seigneur. C’est ainsi que le roi et tous les fils d’Israël firent la dédicace de la maison du Seigneur.
Mactavitque Salomon hostias pacificas, quas immolavit Domino, boum viginti duo milia et ovium centum viginti

milia. Et dedicaverunt templum Domini rex et omnes filii Israel.

[64] 바로 그날, 임금은 주님의 집 앞에 있는 뜰 한가운데를 성별하고, 그곳에서 번제물과 곡식 제물, 그리고 친교

제물의 굳기름을 바쳤다. 주님 앞에 있는 청동 제단이 너무 작아서, 번제물과 곡식 제물, 그리고 친교 제물의

굳기름을 담을 수가 없었던 것이다.

On that day the king consecrated the middle of the court facing the temple of the LORD; he offered there the

holocausts, the cereal offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar before the LORD was

too small to hold these offerings.

        In quel giorno il re consacrò il centro del cortile di fronte al tempio del Signore; infatti ivi offrì l'olocausto,

        l'oblazione e il grasso dei sacrifici di comunione, perché l'altare di bronzo, che era davanti al Signore, era

        troppo piccolo per contenere l'olocausto, l'oblazione e il grasso dei sacrifici di comunione. 

    Ce jour-là, le roi consacra le milieu de la cour qui était devant la maison du Seigneur. C’est là, en effet, qu’il

    offrit l’holocauste, l’offrande de céréales et les graisses des sacrifices de paix, car l’autel de bronze qui était

    devant le Seigneur était trop petit pour contenir l’holocauste, l’offrande de céréales et les graisses des

    sacrifices de paix.
In die illa sanctificavit rex medium atrii, quod erat ante domum Domini; fecit quippe holocaustum ibi et

oblationem et adipem pacificorum, quoniam altare aereum, quod erat coram Domino, minus erat et capere non

poterat holocaustum et oblationem et adipem pacificorum.

[65] 그때에 솔로몬과, 하맛 어귀에서 ‘이집트 마른내’에 이르기까지 온 이스라엘에서 모여든 큰 회중이, 주 우리

하느님 앞에서 두 이레, 곧 열나흘 동안 축제를 지냈다. 

On this occasion Solomon and all the Israelites, who had assembled in large numbers from Labo of Hamath to

the Wadi of Egypt, celebrated the festival before the LORD, our God, for seven days.

        In quell'occasione Salomone celebrò la festa davanti al Signore nostro Dio per sette giorni: tutto Israele,

        dall'ingresso di Amat al torrente d'Egitto, un'assemblea molto grande, era con lui. 

    En ce temps-là, Salomon – et tout Israël avec lui – célébra la fête des Tentes : ce fut un grand rassemblement,

    depuis l’Entrée-de-Hamath jusqu’au Torrent d’Égypte, en présence du Seigneur notre Dieu, durant sept jours.
Fecit ergo Salomon in tempore illo festivitatem celebrem, et omnis Israel cum eo, ecclesia magna ab introitu

Emath usque ad rivum Aegypti, coram Domino Deo nostro septem diebus.

[66] 여드레째 되는 날에 솔로몬은 백성을 집으로 돌려보냈다. 그들은 임금에게 축복하고, 주님께서 당신 종 다윗과

당신 백성 이스라엘에게 베푸신 온갖 은혜에 기뻐하며 흐뭇한 마음으로 자기들 천막으로 돌아갔다. 

On the eighth day he dismissed the people, who bade the king farewell and went to their homes, rejoicing and

happy over all the blessings the LORD had given to his servant David and to his people Israel.

        Nel giorno ottavo congedò il popolo. I convenuti, salutato il re, tornarono alle loro case, contenti e con la

        gioia nel cuore per tutto il bene concesso dal Signore a Davide suo servo e a Israele suo popolo. 

    Le huitième jour, il renvoya le peuple. Les gens bénirent le roi et s’en allèrent à leurs tentes, joyeux et le cœur 

    content pour tout le bien que le Seigneur avait accordé à David, son serviteur, et à Israël, son peuple.
Et in die octava dimisit populos; qui benedicentes regi profecti sunt in tabernacula sua laetantes et alacri corde

super omnibus bonis, quae fecerat Dominus David servo suo et Israel populo suo.
