 1. Hexagram Qian /  Double Heaven(중건천). ䷀ ......9.(2)

      ▣ The Tuan(Judgment) says:

           Great indeed is the primary power of Qian; all things derive their beginning from it,

            and it thereby rules over Heaven.

           Clouds move and rain is distributed, and all things flow and take their forms.

           Comprehending the beginning and the end through great clarity,

            the six positions are completed in their proper times ;

            riding upon the six dragons at the proper times, one dives / controls Heaven.

            Through the changes and transformations of the Way of Qian,

             each thing correctly establishe its nature and destiny.

            Preserving and uniting supreme harmony, it is thereby advantageous and correct(lizhen) ;

            standing out at the head of all beings, all nations are brought to complete peace.

         [Explanation]

            The Tuan says : How magnificent is the source of Qian!

             All things originate from it, and thereby it governs even the heavens.

             Sending down rain when it rains and gathering clouds when it covers,

             it allows all created things to unfold their forms.

             As the great brightness ends and begins anew, the six positions are established,

             and riding upon six dragons at the opportune moment, it soars into the sky.

             Through the transformations of the Way of Qian, each creature sets its nature and destiny right:

              perserving the principle of grand harmony and uniting with it,

              it brings advantage to governing the affairs of Heaven.

              As the Supreme Ruler―the sovereign of heaven and earth―creates all things,

               every nation attains peace and tranquility.

            [Commentary]

               The very first words confucius uttered after reading King Wen′s judgment(decision text)

                on the Qain(Heaven) hexagram, "Yuan, Heng, Li, Zhen," were " Great indeed!"

                (大哉,대재 -Dazai!) and 'Truly magnihicent!" (大哉,대재 -Dazai!).

                He let out a lion-like roar of awe, exclaiming :

               "Wow! How could the ancient sages possibly describe Heaven as 'Yuan, Heng,Li, Zhen'?"

                 With a heart pounding in astonishment, Confucius continued:

                "Indeed it is ! All things in Heaven and Earth can only come into being by receiving

                 Heaven′s magnificent primeval‎ energy[萬物資始,만물자시 -All things owe their beginning to it]."

                "Furthermore, only by doing so can one command and lead the domain of Heaven

                  [乃統天,내통천 - Thus commanding Heaven].

                  Thus Hexagram Qian is the primary source [元,원- Yuan] of all things and all matters,

                  and it is the supreme head [元,원- Yuan]."

                  When he said this, the interpretation of Qian should already be considered complete.

                  As an example, it demonstrated the power of Qian as that which "Pours rain wherever rain

                  is needed [雲行雨施,운행우시 -Clouds move and rain falls],

                  and nurtures the earth while carefully saturating the right places,

                  filling the universe according to the time and space desired to the time and space

                  desired by each creature [品物有形,품물유형 - All forms of life flourish / take shape]."

                  Moreover, it went on to prove itself as a "superpower" that "reaches everywhere without

                  intewference from anyone, illuminating the process from the very beginning to the ultimate

                  end [大明終始,대명종시 - Brightly understanding the end and the beginning] from deep

                  within the earth all the way up to the heavens."

                  Ultimately, this magnificent Qian Comes to be eval‎uated as the Supreme Being that takes

                   full responsibility for the birth and end of all creation[終始,종시 -End and beginning]

                   without harboring any selfish motives[私事,사사],

                   brightly illuminating everything from the origin of Heaven and Earth to its end.

                   Furthermore, it not only "forms deep bonds across all time and circumstances

                   in any location of the six cardinal directions(East, West, South, North, Up, and Down)

                   [六位時成,육위시성 -The six positions are established according to time],

                   loving all living beings[중생/만물] by riding six dragons tailored to every occasion

                   [時乘六龍,시승육용 - Riding the six dragons at the proper time]....."

                   He exalted this as "the one who commands the Heavenly Way at will―as if driving a team

                   of horses―and thereby benefits even the heavens themselves[以御天,이어천- Yiyutian],"

                   a level of "charioteering the heavens[御天,어천-Yutian]" that would be completely

                   unfathomable to anyone who is not a sage like Confucius.

                   Furthermore, he asserted that "Yuan, Heng, Li, Zhen" is undoubtedly a slogan for carrying

                   out cosmic work to foster coexistence and shared prosperity among all creation between

                   heaven and earth, as it "transforms the Heavenly Way[乾道,건도] according to time

                   [乾道變化,건도변화 - Qiandao bianhua], elevates each creature′s unique nature to a higher

                   realm [各正性命,각정성명 - Gezheng xingming], and unites them in grand harmony aimed

                   at cosmic balance [保合大和,보합대화- Baohe dahe].
