하나님으로부터 공증받은 원리

참아버님께서는 1951년 5월 11일 원리원본 집필에 들어가셔서 이듬해 5월 10일 완료하셨다. 식구들이 옆에서 연필을 깎아 대기 바쁘게 속기하셨다. 원리원본을 쓰시는 동안 울면서 찬송하시고 또 울면서 기도하셨다. 때로는 뒷산 자그마한 평지에 올라 노래와 명상을 계속하시면서 심혈을 기울여 써 나가셨다. ‘기록 제1권’부터 ‘기록 제5권’으로 나눠 기술한 원리원본은 각 권마다 네 곳에 구멍을 내어 묶으셨으며 총 690여 쪽에 달한다. 본문 내용은 연필로 국한문 혼용의 횡서 흘림체로 쓰셨고, 교정과 교열작업은 검정 파랑 갈색 잉크를 사용해 펜으로 하셨다. 미미하게 밑줄을 치는 데에 빨간 색연필이 사용되었다. 특히 중간 10여 쪽 분량(291~300쪽)의 본문은 파란색 잉크펜으로 씌여 있다. 원리원본은 친필로 작성되고 현존 최초의 원리 기록이라는 점에서 그 의미가 심대하다. 이 원리원본을 초기에는 제자들이 필사해 돌려 보았다.

1 원리말씀을 할 때에 나는 성경을 참고하지 않습니다. 성경에 없는 내용들입니다. 하나님으로부터 직접 전수받은 것입니다. 성경은 예수님이 직접 쓴 것이 아닙니다. 사도들이 편집한 내용이 많습니다. 참은 참것으로 그대로 두라는 것입니다. 자기 신학관, 자기 이론을 갖다가 혹처럼 붙이지 말라는 것입니다. 하나님의 공증을 받았느냐, 자기 이론을 갖다가 붙이라는 허락을 받았느냐는 것입니다. 나는 허락받지 않은 것을 발표해 본 적이 없습니다. 내가 행하고 발표해 왔습니다. 틀림없습니다. 그러니 망하지 않습니다.

2 범일동에 있을 때에는 옷도 변변치 못하게 입고 더벅머리를 한 채 남자 둘이서 토굴 같은 집에서 지냈습니다. 남들이 볼 때에는 처량하게 보였을 것입니다. 김원필은 돈을 벌어 오겠다고 해서 내가 그러라고 했습니다. 그 당시에는 원리원본을 쓰고 있었는데, 동지 하나가 얼마나 귀하고 따르는 사람 하나가 얼마나 귀했는지 모릅니다. 여러분도 이렇게 사람에 대한 맛을 알아야 합니다. 그렇기 때문에 김원필이 회사에 나가게 될 때에는 반드시 1킬로미터 이상 따라 나가곤 했는데, 그렇게 해야 마음이 편안했습니다. 또 저녁이 되어 돌아올 때가 되면 반드시 마중을 나갔는데, 그 만나는 맛이란 이루 말할 수 없었습니다. 그렇게 와서 밤에 잠을 자는데 이불이 없어서 포대기 한 장만 덮고 자곤 했습니다. 그때에는 그렇게 살았습니다.

3 아버님이 부두가 내려다보이는 범일동에서 원리를 썼습니다. 원리원본의 초를 잡아 놓은 것입니다. 시와 같이 썼습니다. 내가 골자를 빼서 썼기 때문에 설명하지 않으면 다른 사람들은 잘 모릅니다. 그렇게 원리원본의 초를 잡아 놓고 1952년 5월에 원리원본집필을 마쳤습니다. 원리원본이후 원리해설. 그다음에 원리강론이 나왔습니다.

4 아버님은 성경만 보고 원리를 찾은 것이 아닙니다. ‘창세기가 인간의 타락을 기록한 장이면 요한계시록은 복귀의 장이다. 이것이 생명나무로서 이렇게 되었으면 생명나무로 복귀되는 것이다. 그것이 안 맞으면 성경은 거짓말이다.’라고 했습니다. 씨를 심어서 난 것은 씨로 돌아가는 것입니다. 이것이 맞지 않으면 안 됩니다. 씨에서 움터 나오는 순이 위로 뻗어야지 옆으로 뻗으면 안 됩니다. 그것이 맞지 않으면 안 된다는 것입니다. 오늘날 원리의 가르침은 추리적 방법을 통해서 섭리사관에 일치된다는 것입니다. 명실공히 하나님이 살아 있는 한, 그 하나님이 사랑을 중심삼고 섭리의 뜻을 펴 나가고 있는 한 세계는 반드시 그 문화권을 중심삼고 통일시대를 맞아야 됩니다. 그리고 천지창조가 어떻게 이루어졌고 하나님이 왜 사랑을 좋아하나 하는 것들을 밝혀낸 것입니다.

5 하나님은 모든 슬픈 사람을 위로해 주십니다. 또 하나님은 생사화복을 주관하시는 주인이십니다. 그렇기 때문에 모든 것을 그분에게 의지하려고 하는 것입니다. 남을 위해 염려해 줄 수 있는 마음을 가진 그곳에 하나님은 상대적인 형태가 갖추어졌기 때문에 오시지 말라고 해도 오시는 것입니다. 선한 곳에는 하나님이 계시지 말라고 해도 계시는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 원리원본을 보게 되면 대상이나 대상의 가치니 하는 내용까지도 전부 달리 해석하고 있습니다. 주고받으면 반드시 상대성이 갖추어지기 때문에 주고받은 만큼 대상의 기대가 벌어지게 됩니다. 그래서 하나님이나 선, 참을 중심삼고 움직이면 그것은 남아지게 마련입니다.

6 여러분이 원리책을 갖고 다닐 때에는 지나치리만큼 소중히 하지 않으면 안 됩니다. 만일 이 책이 한 권밖에 없다고 생각해 보십시오. 아버님이 이 책 원고의 초를 잡을 때 그 관리를 얼마나 심각하게 했겠는지 생각해 보라는 것입니다. 만일 그것이 없어지고 내가 죽으면 어떻게 되겠습니까? 세계가 왔다 갔다 합니다. 이 원리책 한 권으로 일족이 흥하고 망하고, 일국이 흥하고 망하고, 이 세계가 흥하고 망하고, 하늘땅이 흥하고 망하고, 영원한 생명들이 왔다 갔다 한다는 것을 생각해 본 적이 있느냐는 것입니다. 그런 것을 생각하지도 못한 사람들이 심정세계의 여러 사람들과 연결되려면 얼마나 멀리 있는가를 생각해 보라는 것입니다.

7 아버님은 원리를 중심삼고 원리와 더불어 지금까지 나왔습니다. 고생으로 닦아진 터전입니다. 원리책에는 피와 땀과 눈물이 엉클어져 있습니다. 페이지마다의 내용에 얼크러진 아버님의 피눈물이 여러분에게 호소하고 있다는 것을 알아야 됩니다. 아버님이 젊은 청춘을 희생시켜 여기에 투입한 것입니다. 피와 눈물이 여러분에게 호소하고 있다는 것입니다. 거기에 걸리면 안 됩니다. 무가치한 원리가 아닙니다. 하나님이 숙연하게 머리를 숙이는 것입니다. 우러러보는 원리입니다.

神様から公証を受けた原理
 
真のお父様は、一九五一年五月十一日、『原理原本』の執筆に入られ、翌年の五月十日に完了された。食口がそばで忙しく鉛筆を削ってさしあげなければならないほど、執筆に没頭された。『原理原本』を書かれる間、涙を流しながら聖歌を歌われ、また、涙を流しながら祈られた。時には、裏山にある小さな平地まで登り、歌を歌い、瞑想を続けながら心血を注いで書いていかれたのである。「記録第一巻」から「記録第五巻」に分けて記述された『原理原本』は、各巻ごとに四カ所の穴を開けて束ねられ、合計六百九十ページ以上に達した。本文の内容は、主に鉛筆でハングルと漢字の横書き草書体で書かれ、校正と校閲作業は、黒と青、茶色のインクを使い、ペンで行われた。薄く下線を引くときには赤い色鉛筆が使われた。特に、中間の十ページほどの分量（二百九十一－三百ページ）の本文は、青色のインクペンで書かれている。『原理原本』は自筆で作成され、現存する最初の原理記録であるという点で、その意味は甚大である。初期には、この『原理原本』を弟子たちが筆写し、順番に読んでいた。
 
１ 原理のみ言を語るときに、私は聖書を参考にしません。聖書にない内容です。神様から直接伝授されたものです。新約聖書は、イエス様が直接書いたものではありません。使徒たちが編集した内容が多いのです。
 
真は真のものとして、そのままにしておきなさいというのです。自分の神学観や自分の理論をもってきて、こぶのようにつけ加えてはいけません。神様の公証を受けたのか、自分の理論を加えなさいという許可を受けたのか、というのです。私は許可を受けていないものを発表したことはありません。私が行った上で発表してきました。間違いありません。ですから、滅びないのです。
 
２ 凡一洞にいる時は、粗末な服を着て、頭はぼさぼさのまま、男性二人で土窟のような家で過ごしました。他の人からは、哀れに見えたはずです。金元弼が「お金を稼いでくる」と言うので、私は「そうしなさい」と言いました。その当時は、『原理原本』を書いていましたが、同志一人がどれほど貴く、従ってくる一人の人がどれほど貴かったか分かりません。
 
皆さんも、このように、人に対する味を知らなければなりません。ですから、金元弼が会社に出掛けるときは、必ず一キロ以上付いていったものですが、そのようにして初めて気が楽になりました。また、夕方になって帰ってくる頃になると、必ず迎えに出たのですが、その会う時の気持ちは、言葉では言い表せないものでした。そのように帰ってきて夜眠るのですが、布団がなくて、おくるみ一枚だけをかぶって寝たものです。その時は、そのように暮らしました。
 
３ お父様は、埠頭が見下ろせる凡一洞で「原理」を書きました。『原理原本』を起草したのです。詩のように書きました。私が骨子を抜き出して書いたので、説明しなければ、他の人々はよく分かりません。そのように、『原理原本』を起草しておいて、一九五二年五月に『原理原本』の執筆を終えました。『原理原本』以降、『原理解説』、そして、『原理講論』が発刊されました。
 
４ お父様は、聖書だけを見て原理を探し出したのではありません。「創世記が人間の堕落を記録した章ならば、ヨハネの黙示録は復帰の章である。これが生命の木としてこのようになったのなら、生命の木として復帰されるのだ。それが合わなければ聖書はうそである」と思いました。種を植えて生えたものは、種に返るのです。これが合わなければなりません。種から出た芽は上に伸びるべきであって、横に伸びてはいけません。それが合わなければならないのです。
 
今日の原理の教えは、推理的な方法を通して摂理史観に一致しているのです。名実共に神様が生きている限り、その神様が愛を中心として摂理のみ旨を展開していく限り、世界は必ずその文化圏を中心として統一時代を迎えなければなりません。そして、天地創造がどのように成し遂げられ、なぜ神様が愛を好むのかなどを明らかにしたのです。
 
５ 神様は、すべての悲しむ人たちを慰労してくださいます。また、神様は、生死禍福を主管される主人でいらっしゃいます。ですから、あらゆることをその方に委ねようとするのです。人のために心配できる心をもったところには、神様の相対的な形態が備わっているので、「いらっしゃらないでください」と言っても、いらっしゃるのです。善なるところには、「いらっしゃらないでください」と言っても、神様がいらっしゃるというのです。ですから、『原理原本』を見れば、対象や対象の価値という内容までも、すべて異なる形で解釈しています。与え合えば、必ず相対性が備わるので、与え合うほど対象の基台ができるようになります。それで、神様や善、真を中心として動けば、それは残るようになっているのです。
 
６ 皆さんが「原理」の本を持ち歩くときは、この上なく大切に扱わなければなりません。この本が一冊しかないと考えてみてください。お父様がこの本の原稿を草案するとき、その原稿の管理をどれほど深刻にしたか考えてみなさいというのです。もしそれがなくなり、私が死んでしまったらどうなるでしょうか。世界が左右されるのです。
 
この「原理」の本一冊で一族の興亡が決まり、一国の興亡が決まり、この世界の興亡が決まり、天地の興亡が決まり、永遠の生命が左右されることを、考えてみたことがあるのかというのです。そのようなことを考えてもみなかった人たちが、心情世界の様々な人たちとつながろうとすれば、どれほど遠いかを考えてみてください。
 
７ お父様は原理を中心として、原理とともに今まで歩んできました。苦労で築かれた基盤です。原理の本には、血と汗と涙が入り混じっています。ページごとの内容に入り混じっているお父様の血の涙が、皆さんに訴えかけていることを知らなければなりません。お父様が若い青春を犠牲にしてここに投入したのです。血と涙が皆さんに訴えかけているというのです。そこに引っ掛かってはいけません。無価値な原理ではありません。神様が粛然として頭を下げるのです。仰ぎ見る原理です。

God's authorization
 
On May 11, 1951, True Father began writing Wolli Wonbon, Original Text of the Divine Principle. He completed it on May 10 of the following year. He wrote so fast that the disciple who was living with him was constantly sharpening pencils in order to keep pace with him. While writing the first manuscript of the Principle, he tearfully sang hymns and prayed. Sometimes he climbed to a small outcrop on the mountain behind his cardboard hut to sing and meditate. Then he returned and devoted all of his heart and soul to his writing.

The manuscript of Wolli Wonbon consists of five volumes. Each volume was drilled with four holes and tied. The entire manuscript has more than 690 pages. The text is written with a pencil from left to right in cursive script, in both Korean and Chinese characters. The revision work was done using pens with black, blue and brown ink. Red-colored pencils were used to lightly underline texts. Interestingly, in ten pages in the middle (pages 291 to 300), the text is written in blue ink.

Wolli Wonbon has great significance in that it was written in True Father’s own handwriting. It is the earliest manuscript of the Divine Principle in existence. In the early days of the church some of his disciples transcribed Wolli Wonbon and shared their copies with others, passing them around.
 
1 When I teach about the Principle, I do not refer only to the Bible. Much of its content is not directly from the Bible. I received most of it directly from God. Jesus did not personally write the Bible; the New Testament was compiled by his apostles.

The truth must be kept as the truth. Your own theological view or theory must not be added. Did God authorize you to do so? I am asking you: Are you approved to add your own theory to the truth? I never presented anything that was not approved by God. I first lived it, and then I presented it to the world. There is no question about it. That is why it will not perish. (346-055, 2001/06/21)
 
2 When I was living in Beomil-dong, Busan, I did not even have decent clothes to wear. I had bushy hair and lived with a young man, Kim Won-pil, in a cave-like shack. When others looked at us, they must have felt pity for us.

One day, Kim Won-pil said he would work to make money and I said it was okay. At that time, when I was writing Wolli Wonbon, the first manuscript of the Divine Principle, having even one companion who followed me, walking the same path, was so precious. You too must experience the taste of such a close relationship.

Every day when Kim Won-pil set out for work, I accompanied him for at least a kilometer without fail. Otherwise, I did not feel comfortable. When it was time for him to return home from work, I went out again to meet and accompany him on the way home. You have no idea how delighted I was to see him again at the end of each day. When we slept at night we did not have comforters, only one thin blanket to cover ourselves. That's how we lived back then. (026-070, 1969/10/18)
 
3 I wrote a book about the Principle, Wolli Wonbon, at Beomil-dong in Busan, overlooking the harbor. I first noted the main points in outline form, and then started writing. I wrote the ideas in condensed form, like poetry. Since I just wrote the essential points, people could not easily understand it unless I explained the main points to them. This is how I wrote the text, which I completed in May 1952.

After Wolli Wonbon came Explanation of the Divine Principle (Wolli Hae-seol) and then Exposition of the Divine Principle (Wolli Gangnon). (549-211, 2006/12/26)
 
4 I did not discover the Principle only from reading the Bible. I thought, "If Genesis is the chapter on the Human Fall, the Book of Revelation is the chapter on restoration. Since something went wrong with the tree of life, it must be restored through the tree of life. If it does not work that way, the Bible is misleading." Anything that comes from a seed returns to a seed. That is how it ought to happen. In a similar manner, the sprout from the seed grows upward, and not sideways. It has to be this way.

The Principle that I am teaching you today is in accord with history from the providential viewpoint. It is based on a deductive method. Without a doubt, God is alive. As long as God exists and leads the providence for the Will centering on love, the world will have to enter the era of unity based on the cultural sphere of God's love. From this perspective, I disclosed why God created heaven and earth, how the creation of heaven and earth was carried out, and why God is love. (195-140, 1989/11/07)
 
5 God comforts all sorrowful people. He is also the Lord who reigns over life, death, misfortune and blessing. That is why human beings want to rely on Him in any situation, especially when in difficult times. So when you have a heart to care about others, God will come even if you tell Him not to. It is because in such a place you form a base upon which He can relate to you as His counterpart. That is why whenever you are doing something good, God will come to you even if you ask Him not to. Wherever there is goodness, God is present.

For this reason, in Wolli Wonbon, the meaning of "object partner" and "the value of the object partner" are presented as entirely new concepts. Once you give and receive, you come to have a reciprocal relationship. The more you give and receive with your counterpart, the better the relationship you will cultivate. Hence, you will eventually become an object partner with him or her. For this reason, if your activity centers on God, goodness or truth, it will surely last. (060-163, 1972/08/17)
 
6 Whenever you carry the Divine Principle book around with you, you must treat it with great reverence. Imagine if you had the only existing copy. Think about how serious I was to take care of Wolli Wonbon when I was writing the first manuscript. What would have happened if that manuscript had been lost, or I had died? I am telling you that such seriousness can determine the life or death of the world.

Have you ever considered that whether your tribe, your nation, the world and even heaven and earth will prosper or perish depends upon this book and your attitude toward it? Have you ever considered that each individual's eternal life depends upon it? If you have never entertained such thoughts, you should realize how distant you are from the world of heart, and how long it will take for you to connect with those who are dwelling in that world. 7 Centered on the Principle, and with the Principle, I have come this far. I laid its foundation with considerable hardships. I invested my blood, sweat and tears while I was writing the Divine Principle book. Please understand that my bloody tears are embedded in each and every one of its pages, and that those tears are crying out to you.

I invested my life and sacrificed my youth for the Principle. That is why I am saying that my blood and tears are pleading to you from its very pages. You must never go against the Principle. Do not ever think the Principle I am teaching you is of no value. Even God solemnly bows down and honors it. Such is the value of the Principle. (199-056, 1990/02/15)
