I think I have several clear habits in my daily life. Among them, my most positive habit is waking up early in the morning, while my bad habits are shaking my legs and procrastinating. Since these habits directly affect my daily life, I believe it is necessary to think about their characteristics, how they were formed, and ways to improve them.
First of all, my good habit is waking up early. At first, it was simply to avoid being late for school, but over time, I realized that this habit has a positive effect on my overall life. If I wake up early, I can start my day with more time and feel less rushed. I also have enough time to get ready and even review what I learned before going to school, which improves my study efficiency. Through these repeated experiences, this habit naturally became part of my life. Keeping a regular sleep schedule and setting alarms consistently played an important role in forming this habit.
However, I also have some habits that I need to fix. One of them is the habit of shaking my legs. This behavior often appears when I feel nervous or try to concentrate. Sometimes I do it without even realizing it, but it can make others uncomfortable and does not look good. To solve this problem, it is important to first recognize this behavior. If I notice that I am shaking my legs, I should try to stop immediately. Keeping my feet firmly on the ground and maintaining a proper posture can also help. In addition, using my hands or other movements to release tension may be effective.
Another bad habit is procrastination, the tendency of delaying tasks. Even when I have something to do, I often think, “I’ll do it later,” and end up working on it at the last minute. As a result, the quality of my work decreases, and I feel stressed. This habit was not formed in a short time, but rather developed through repeated delays. To fix this, I need to break tasks into smaller parts so that I can start them more easily. Also, I should reduce the pressure of having to do everything perfectly and focus on just getting started. If I make plans and try to follow them consistently, I will gradually improve.
Like this, my habits include both positive and negative aspects. If I maintain my good habits and try to improve my bad ones, I believe I will be able to live a more efficient and stable life. I want to reflect on my actions more often and develop better self-management skills.
