The EY2 Penguin children enjoyed making their very own space playdough from scratch as part of our Expressive Arts & Design learning. They explored the different ingredients needed,

including flour, salt, oil, vinegar, baking soda, and water, before helping to mix everything together.

To make our playdough look like outer space, the children added black paint and stars and watched as the mixture slowly changed colour. They also used the playdough to practice name writing. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, curiosity, and sensory exploration.
