<P></P> <H1><SPAN>Lim orders arrest of 10 cops over Koreans' kidnap</SPAN></H1> <DIV class=byline>ABS-CBNnews.com</DIV> <DIV class=posted>Posted at 02/20/2012 7:38 PM | Updated as of 02/21/2012 7:39 AM</DIV> <DIV style="HEIGHT: 30px"> <DIV style="FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 30px"> <DIV></DIV></DIV> <DIV style="WIDTH: 135px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 30px"></DIV> <DIV style="FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 30px"></DIV></DIV> <DIV class=body> <P>MANILA, Philippines - Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim has ordered the arrest of 10 city police officers who have been accused of kidnapping, extortion, and planting of evidence by 4 South Koreans.</P> <P>Lim also ordered the Manila Police District to dissolve its anti-narcotics units in police stations.</P> <P>Four of the 10 police officers involved in the alleged incident are Senior Insp. Glenn Gonzales, Police Officer 2 Jolly Alyagan, PO2 Richard Sibayan and PO1 George Burabo.</P> <P>Six other police officers involved have yet to be identified.</P> <P>The police officers have not reported to work since the incident, which happened February 14.</P> <P>Two Koreans who work as tour guides -- Choi Jang-tae and Gil Il-bang, alias Tom -- are also suspects in the case.</P> <P>The victims, Kim Youn-ho, Nam Sang-jik, Do Wan-kuk, and Lee Byung-Soup, were accompanied by their families in filing a complaint against the suspects before South Korean consul-general Jung Soon-chul.</P> <P>The victims said they were at the Diamond Hotel on February 14 and were preparing for their trip back to South Korea when they were invited by their tour guide Choi to go shopping.</P> <P>They were walking toward a mall when they were accosted by 3 men who alighted from a van.</P> <P>The men, who had guns, ordered them to get inside the van.</P> <P>The victims said the van traveled for around 20 minutes before they were told that they were being arrested for marijuana possession.</P> <P>The suspects then alleged asked the South Koreans to give them $30,000 in exchange for their freedom.</P> <P>Another Korean, identified as Gil, facilitated the transfer of money from Shin Woo Money changer from the Hana Bank in South Korea.</P> <P>Gil and Choi have been arrested by police. <STRONG>- report from Maan Macapagal, ABS-CBN News</STRONG> <P>  <P><SPAN class=comm_body>마닐라 시장인 알프레도 림은 4명의 한국인의 증거를 바탕으로 납치 및 강탈 혐의로 체포된 10명의 시 경찰에 대한 구속을 지시하였으며 마닐라 경찰국 측에 해당 마약반을 해체할 것을 명령하였다. </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body>10명 중 본 사건에 연루된 4명의 경찰관은 senior insp. 글렌, PO2 졸리, 리차드, PO1 조지 등으로 알려졌으며 나머지 6명의 경찰관은 현재 가담 여부를 조사 중이다. </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body>아울러, 두명의 한국인 여행 가이드 -최장태, 방길일(?), - 역시 용의자 선상에 올라있는 상황이며 피해자 김영호, 남상익, 도완국, 이병섭씨 등은 가족들과 동행하여 주필 한국 대사관의 정순철 영사를 찾아 이들을 상대로 한 고소장을 작성하였다.</SPAN></P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body> 피해자의 말에 따르면 그들은 2월 14일 다이아몬드 호텔에 머물렀으며 여행가이드 최씨로부터 쇼핑제안을 받았을 당시 한국으로 돌아갈 준비를 하고 있었고 쇼핑몰로 가는 도중 밴에서 내린 3명의 남자가 말을 걸어왔다고 밝혔다.</SPAN></P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body>밴에서 내린 3명의 남자는 총기를 소지하고 그들을 밴에 탑승토록 지시하였으며 20분 간 주행 후 마리화나 소지죄로 체포한다는 말을 전했다고 한다. 용의자들은 그들의 석방 몸값으로 각 미화 3만불을 요구하였으며 <SPAN class=comm_body>또다른 한국인인 길(길인지 기인지,,,,,)은 신우금융을 통하여 한국의 하나은행으로 송금되도록 처리하였다고 밝혔다. </SPAN></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body><SPAN class=comm_body></SPAN></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN class=comm_body><SPAN class=comm_body>길과 최는 현재 경찰에 체포되어 있는 상황이다. - ABS-CBN뉴스 maan macapagal.-</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN class=comm_body></P></SPAN></DIV>
