 Part 20 : Baejeong(佩政,패정) ... Taking Charge of Governance... Chapter 78.

佩政(패정)은 정사를 맡는 것이다.

 "Baejeong(佩政,패정)" means to take charge of governance(State affairs).

임금이 신하를 믿어 정사를 맡긴다면신하는 임금을 대신하여 정사를 맡아보되
뛰어 나고 현명한 인재를 구하여  임금에게 등용토록 권한다.

 If the monarch trusts a subject and entrusts them with governance,

 the subject should administer state affairs on behalf of the monarch,

 while seeking out outstanding and wise talents to recommend

  to the monarch for employment.

 
자신보다 현명한 인재가 있으면 모든 정성을 다 기우려 자신의 자리에
그 사람을 앉게 하도록 임금에게 권한다.

 If there is a talent more wise than oneslf,

 the subject shncerity and advise the monarch to let that person take their own position.

佩政者는 爲政也라  (패정자는 위정야라)
 "Those who practice Baejeong are administering governace."

君이 信臣而任政이어든 臣은 代君而爲政하여 (군이 신신이임정이어든 신은 대군이위정하여)
 "When the monarch trusts the subject and entrusts them with state affairs,

   the subject administers governance on behalf of the monarch,"

求俊乂而進用하고 有賢於己者則 苦諫而替任이니라.(구준예이진용하고  유현어기자즉 고간이체임이니라.)

 "Seeking dutstanding talents to advance and employ them,

   and if there is someone more virtuous and wiser than oneself,

   earnestly advising the monarch to replace themselves with that person."
