Without that self-choice there could be no Hell

The Teacher explains [our power to choose]:

‘There are only two kinds of people in the end: 

those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” 

and those to whom God says, in the end, “Thy will be done.”

All //that are in Hell, choose it.

Without that self-choice there could be no Hell.

[No soul //that seriously and constantly desires joy] will ever miss it.

[Those //who seek] find.

[To those //who knock] it is opened.’

* those to whom God says, 하나님께서 말씀하시는 대상인 그들

“Thy will be done.”  니들 뜻대로 하거라

우리들 맘대로 되라는 허락이니 이 보다도 더 좋은 허락은 없다 보겠지만

'thy will 너희들 뜻'에는 니뜻나뜻저뜻 다 포함된 것이고

내 뜻대로 하자해도 만사 내 뜻대로 다 할 수 있는 능력이 없어서도 문제지만

내 뜻과 니 뜻이 상충되는 경우 서로의 뜻을 관철하려 피터지게 싸워야하는데

하나님께서는 손 놓으셨으니 중재가 불가하므로 필경 머리나 주먹 큰자가 이길거고

이긴자는 정의, 진자는 불의가 될 뿐이니 패자는 하소연할 대상이 자기 밖에 없고

그리살다 죽으면 갈 곳이란 자기가 상상하여 원해서 선택했던 곳인데 가 보니

역시나 내 의지로만 살 수 있는 나만의 세상이긴 하지만

내 의지대로 움직여 줄 육체도, 도움줄 다른 육체도 없고

my will power 내 의지만의 창조능력도 없으니 nothing doing 아무것도 못해

그곳이 바로 지옥이 아니면 무었이랴
