약혼식·성주식·탕감봉 행사
축복결혼식은 타락의 과정을 상징적으로 탕감하는 복귀의식이다. 그래서 약혼식과 성주식, 축복식, 탕감봉 행사 등의 의식을 통해 하나님의 자녀로 거듭 태어나게 되는 과정을 거치는 것이다. 특히 약혼식(約婚式)은 아담 해와가 타락하기 전 약혼 단계의 상태로 복귀하는 의식이며, 성주식(聖酒式)은 원죄를 청산하여 사탄의 혈통을 하나님 혈통으로 전환하는 의식이다. 축복식(祝福式)은 참부모님의 승리권을 상속받아 축복가정으로서 책임완수를 서약하는 의식이다. 탕감봉(蕩減棒) 행사는 과거에 하체를 잘못 써서 타락한 것을 탕감하는 의식으로, 신랑 신부가 서로 둔부를 몽둥이로 세 번씩 치게 된다.

1 통일원리에서 믿음의 기대와 실체 기대를 중심삼고 이루려고 하는 것은 무엇이냐? 타락하기 전 약혼 단계의 입장으로 복귀하자는 것입니다. 타락하기 직전은 약혼 단계이니만큼 타락하지 않았던 아담과 해와의 자리로 복귀해야 된다는 것입니다. 타락하기 전 약혼 단계로 복귀하려면 어떻게 해야 되느냐? 아담과 해와가 거짓된 사랑으로 타락하여 거짓 부모가 되었고, 이 거짓 부모를 중심삼고 세 아들인 가인과 아벨과 셋, 그리고 그들의 아내까지 포함한 여덟 식구가 타락한 입장에 섰기 때문에 이 여덟 식구의 형태를 복귀하기 위한 안팎의 내용이 바로 믿음의 기대와 실체기대입니다. 이것을 복귀한 후에 하늘의 부모를 모시고 넘어가야 합니다. 하늘의 부모가 바로 메시아입니다. 그러므로 실체기대를 통과한 후에는 반드시 메시아를 위한 기대가 조성되어야 합니다. 타락한 인간 앞에 이 메시아가 없어서는 본연의 자리로 복귀할 수 없습니다. 타락한 아담 해와의 후손인 인간은 어느 누구를 막론하고 메시아를 맞이하지 못하면 원죄를 벗지 못합니다. 그 메시아가 참부모입니다. 참부모가 필요한 것은 참부모의 사랑으로 다시 접붙이는 일을 해야 되기 때문입니다. 그렇기 때문에 메시아인 참부모가 나타나지 않고서는 타락한 인간이 원죄를 벗어 버리고 죄 없는 해방된 자리에서 완성 단계의 축복을 받을 수 있는 자리로 나아가지 못하는 것입니다. 그러므로 약혼식은 아담 해와가 약혼 단계에서 타락한 것을 복귀하는 식입니다.

2 여러분은 타락으로 인해 더럽혀진 혈통을 청산하고 창조본연의 선한 혈통을 복귀하지 않으면 안 됩니다. 6천년 역사를 전부 청산하고 탕감복귀하는 식을 하지 않으면 축복의 자리에까지 갈 수 없습니다. 약혼식은 아담 해와가 타락하기 전 약혼 단계의 상태로 복귀하지 않으면 안 되기 때문에 하는 것입니다.

3 성주식은 타락으로 인해 혈통적으로 더럽혀진 사탄의 피를 뽑아 버리는 식입니다. 다시 말해서 원죄를 뽑아 버리는 식이라는 것입니다. 원죄가 있는 사람은 축복의 자리에 못 나아갑니다. 사탄의 혈통적 내용을 자신의 몸속에 그대로 가지고 있는 입장이기 때문에 하나님을 중심한 축복의 자리에 나아가려야 나아갈 도리가 없습니다. 그러므로 반드시 원죄를 청산해야 됩니다. 이 원죄는 거짓 부모의 사랑으로 말미암아 이어졌기 때문에 이것을 청산하려면 참부모의 사랑을 중심삼고 탕감조건을 세워 밟아 나가야 됩니다. 그러지 않고는 원죄를 벗을 도리가 없습니다. 이 원죄를 벗지 않고서는 완성한 자리에서의 하나님 사랑을 중심한 축복이 있을 수 없습니다.

4 우리가 복귀되기 위해서는 다시 복중에 들어가야 하는데 실제로 그럴 수는 없습니다. 그러므로 사랑을 중심으로 일체가 되어 복귀된 조건을 세우는 것입니다. 그렇게 복귀된 아담에게 돌아가서 일체가 되고 혈통을 이어받지 않으면 안 됩니다. 해와는 타락할 때 사탄을 중심으로 영적인 타락을 했습니다. 그다음 아담과 하나가 되어서 육적으로 타락하였습니다. 그렇기 때문에 그것을 복귀하기 위해서 완전히 복귀된 아담을 맞이하여 영적으로 하나가 되는 식이 성주식입니다. 사랑의 인연을 복귀하는 식입니다. 그런 조건을 세우지 않으면 안 됩니다. 그렇게 영적으로 하나가 되어서 하나님에게로 돌아간 여자가 되어 실체로서 남자를 복귀하는 것이 축복결혼식입니다.

5 성주에는 21가지에 이르는 여러가지 귀한 것들이 들어 있습니다. 혈통전환을 하기 위해서는 그래야 됩니다. 거기에는 타락세계의 혈통이 연결된 조건과 복귀된 세계의 혈통이 연결된 조건들이 들어 있습니다. 이것들을 연결해서 하지 않으면 사탄세계를 복귀할 수 없습니다. 그렇게 연결한 그 기반 위에서 축복을 받아서 낳은 아들딸들은 타락세계를 타고 넘을 수 있습니다. 혈통적으로 그것을 극복할 수 있다는 것입니다. 그러나 그것이 간단한 것이 아닙니다. 성주식은 혈통을 전환하는 식입니다. 참사랑은 개인의 심정에서부터 하나님에게 직통하는 것입니다. 그러한 혈통전환식을 하지 않으면 타락하지 않은 아담 해와의 자리로 돌아갈 수 없습니다. 약혼 시절의 아담 해와권에 들어가서 성숙했다는 조건을 가지고 결혼식을 하는 것입니다. 결혼을 하더라도 소생·장성·완성기준에 있어서 완성기준은 아닙니다. 그렇기 때문에 7년 동안 수양하면서 부부가 함께 완전한 방향을 찾아가지 않으면 안 됩니다. 그리고 자기 아들딸이 자기 부부를 하나님보다도 위대하다고 할 수 있게끔 교육해야 됩니다. 그러한 부모가 되어 일가족을 데리고 가지 않으면 그 가정은 축복가정이라고 할 수 없습니다.

6 축복식 후에 탕감봉을 맞는 것은 궁둥이를 잘못 써서 타락했기 때문입니다. 3시대의 혈통을 더럽혀 놓은 원한의 고개를 넘기 위한 조건물입니다. 이 아픔이 가시게 될 때에는 아들딸이 해방된 자리에서 하늘 앞에 쌍수를 들어 만세를 부를 수 있습니다. 그때에는 천지만물과 하늘나라 전체가 화답해야 됩니다.

約婚式、聖酒式、蕩減棒行事
祝福結婚式は、堕落の過程を象徴的に再現して、蕩減する儀式である。そのため、約婚式と聖酒式、祝福式、蕩減棒行事などの儀式を通し、神様の子女として生まれ変わる過程を経るのである。特に、約婚式は、アダムとエバが堕落する前の約婚段階の状態に復帰するための儀式であり、聖酒式は、原罪を清算し、サタンの血統を神様の血統に転換する儀式である。祝福式は、真の父母様の勝利圏を相続し、祝福家庭として責任完遂を誓約する儀式である。蕩減棒行事は、過去に下部を誤って用いて堕落したことを蕩減する儀式であり、新郎と新婦が互いに臀部を棒で三回ずつたたくのである。
 
１ 「統一原理」において、信仰基台と実体基台を中心として成し遂げようとすることとは何でしょうか。堕落する前の約婚段階の立場に復帰しようというのです。堕落する直前が約婚段階なので、堕落していないアダムとエバの位置に復帰しなければならないということです。堕落する前の約婚段階に復帰しようとすれば、どのようにすべきでしょうか。アダムとエバが偽りの愛によって堕落して偽りの父母となり、この偽りの父母を中心として、三人の息子であるカインとアベルとセツ、そして、彼らの妻まで含めた八人家族が堕落した立場に立ったので、この八人家族の形態を復帰するための内外の内容が、正に信仰基台と実体基台です。これを復帰したあとに、天の父母に侍って越えていかなければなりません。天の父母が、正にメシヤです。
 
ですから、実体基台を通過したあとには、必ずメシヤのための基台が造成されなければなりません。堕落した人間の前にこのメシヤがいなければ、本然の位置に復帰できません。堕落したアダムとエバの子孫である人間は、誰彼を問わず、メシヤを迎えなければ原罪を脱ぐことはできません。そのメシヤが、真の父母です。
 
真の父母が必要なのは、真の父母の愛によって再び接ぎ木の役事（働き）をしなければならないからです。ですから、メシヤである真の父母が現れなければ、堕落した人間が原罪を脱ぎ、罪のない解放された位置から、完成段階の祝福を受けられる位置に進めないのです。それゆえ、約婚式は、アダムとエバが約婚段階で堕落したことを復帰する式です。
 
２ 皆さんは、堕落によって汚された血統を清算し、創造本然の善なる血統に復帰しなければなりません。六千年歴史をすべて清算し、蕩減復帰する式をしなければ、祝福の場まで行けません。約婚式は、アダムとエバが堕落する前の約婚段階の状態に復帰しなければならないので行うのです。
 
３ 聖酒式は、堕落によって血統的に汚されたサタンの血を抜いてしまう式です。言い換えると、原罪を抜いてしまう式なのです。原罪がある人は、祝福の場に出ていけません。サタンの血統的内容を自分の体の内にそのままもっている立場なので、神様を中心とした祝福の場に出ていこうとしても、出ていくすべがありません。ですから、必ず原罪を清算しなければなりません。
 
この原罪は、偽りの父母の愛によってつながっているので、これを清算しようとすれば、真の父母の愛を中心として、蕩減条件を立てて歩んでいかなければなりません。そうしなければ、原罪を脱ぐすべがありません。この原罪を脱がなければ、完成した立場での神様の愛を中心とした祝福はあり得ないのです。
 
４ 私たちが復帰されるためには、再び腹中に入っていかなければならないのですが、実際にそうすることはできません。ですから、愛を中心として一体になり、復帰された条件を立てるのです。そのようにして復帰されたアダムに戻っていき、一体となって血統を受け継がなければなりません。
 
エバは、堕落する時、サタンを中心として霊的な堕落をしました。その次に、アダムと一つになって肉的に堕落しました。ですから、それを復帰するために、完全に復帰されたアダムを迎えて、霊的に一つになる式が聖酒式です。愛の関係を復帰する式です。そのような条件を立てなければなりません。そのように霊的に一つになり、神様のもとに帰った女性となって、実体として男性を復帰するのが、祝福結婚式です。
 
５ 聖酒には、二十一種類に及ぶ様々な貴いものが入っています。血統転換をするためには、そうでなければなりません。そこには、堕落世界の血統が連結された条件と、復帰された世界の血統が連結された条件が入っています。これらを連結して行わなければ、サタン世界を復帰できません。そのように連結したその基盤の上で、祝福を受けて生んだ息子、娘たちは、堕落世界を乗り越えられます。血統的に、それを克服できるというのです。しかし、それは簡単なことではありません。
 
聖酒式は、血統を転換する式です。真の愛は、個人の心情から神様に直通するのです。そのような血統転換式をしなければ、堕落していないアダムとエバの位置に帰れません。約婚時代のアダム・エバ圏に入って成熟したという条件をもって、結婚式を行うのです。結婚をしても、蘇生、長成、完成の完成基準ではありません。ですから、七年間、修養しながら、夫婦が共に完全な方向を求めていかなければなりません。そして、自分の息子、娘が、自分たち夫婦を「神様よりも偉大だ」と言えるように、教育しなければなりません。そのような父母になって一家族を引き連れていかなければ、その家庭は祝福家庭であると言えません。
 
６ 祝福式後に蕩減棒で打たれるのは、下部を誤って使って堕落したからです。三時代の血統を汚した怨恨の峠を越えるための条件物です。この痛みが取れる時には、息子、娘が解放された立場で、天のみ前に両手を挙げて万歳を叫ぶことができるのです。その時は、天地万物と天の国全体が呼応しなければなりません。

Engagement, holy wine and indemnity stick ceremonies
The marriage Blessing includes a series of restorational rituals which symbolically indemnify the process of the Fall. Through rituals such as the engagement ceremony, the Holy Wine ceremony, the Blessing ceremony, and the indemnity stick ceremony, one goes through the process of rebirth as a child of God. The engagement ceremony is the ritual that restores us to the position of Adam and Eve being engaged before the Fall. The Holy Wine ceremony eradicates original sin and changes Satan's lineage to God's lineage.

The Blessing ceremony is the ritual of vowing to fulfill one's responsibility as a blessed couple by inheriting True Parents' victorious realm. The indemnity stick ceremony is a ritual that symbolically makes restitution for the misuse of the lower parts of the body during the Fall. This ceremony entails the husband and wife striking each other on the buttocks three times with a stick, after which the couple makes a clean new start together.
 
1 According to the Unification Principle, what is to be created through the foundation of faith and the foundation of substance? The goal is to restore human beings to the position of being engaged prior to the Fall. Adam and Eve right before the Fall were an engaged couple. What has to be done in order to restore people to that stage of engagement prior to the Fall? Adam and Eve fell because of false love and became false parents. As false parents they had three sons: Cain, Abel and Seth. There were eight people in Adam's family, including the wives of his sons. All of them stood in a fallen position. Setting the foundation of faith and the foundation of substance is an internal and external process of restoring this group of eight family members.

After this group of people is restored, they must move to the next stage together with the Parent of heaven. The Parent of heaven here refers to the Messiah. After having established the foundation of substance, a foundation for the Messiah must be created. Fallen human beings cannot be restored to their original position without the Messiah. Human beings, who are the descendants of fallen Adam and Eve, must all without exception receive the Messiah, otherwise they cannot remove their original sin. The Messiah is the True Parents. The reason we need the True Parents is because they engraft us to themselves through True Parents' love. If the True Parents who are the Messiah do not emerge, fallen human beings will not be able to remove their original sin and advance to a position where they can receive the completion-level Blessing in a sinless and liberated position. Thus we need the engagement ceremony, the ritual that restores the stage of engagement prior to the Fall of Adam and Eve. (035-216, 1970/10/19)
 
2 Each of you must cleanse your lineage of the stain of the Fall and restore it as the original lineage of goodness that was to have existed at the time of creation. Unless you perform a ritual to settle all accounts and restore the entire 6,000-year history through indemnity, you cannot advance to the position to receive the Blessing. The engagement ceremony is conducted in order to restore people to the position of Adam and Eve as an engaged couple before the Fall. (035-210, 1970/10/18)
 
3 The Holy Wine ceremony is a ritual that removes Satan's blood, which defiled the heavenly lineage through the Fall. In other words, it is a ceremony to remove original sin. A person with original sin cannot advance to a position to receive the Blessing. Since you are in the position of transmitting Satan's blood lineage, there is no way for you to advance to the position to receive God's blessing. To do so, you must completely eradicate your original sin. This original sin was derived from and is transmitted through the false parent’s love. Therefore you must take steps to eradicate it by establishing an indemnity condition within True Parents' love. Without doing so, there is no way to get rid of original sin. If original sin is not removed, you cannot receive the Blessing as a perfected couple that is one with God's love. (035-216, 1970/10/19)
 
4 In order for human beings to be fully restored, they once again must enter their mother's womb. Literally this cannot be done, but by becoming one in love we can establish it as a condition. You must return to the restored Adam, unite with him, and then receive God's blood lineage. Eve first fell spiritually, centering on Satan. She then united with Adam and committed the physical Fall. The Holy Wine ceremony reverses that process by having Eve meet the completely restored Adam and become one with him conditionally. It is the ceremony to restore the relationship of love. This condition is essential. A woman has to conditionally unite with the restored Adam, return to God and then restore a man in the flesh. This is what the marriage Blessing ceremony is about. 5 The Holy Wine consists of 21 essential elements. It is constituted this way for the sake of converting the lineage. Both kinds of conditions, those connected with the lineage of the fallen world and those connected with the lineage of the restored world, are in this wine. Without connecting these conditions you cannot restore Satan's world. Children born from a couple who received the Blessing on the foundation of this connection can stand above and step beyond the fallen world. By virtue of their lineage they can overcome this world. This is not a simple matter. The Holy Wine ceremony is a ritual of converting the lineage. True love directly connects an individual's heart with God. Without conducting this ceremony of converting the lineage, you cannot return to the position of Adam and Eve before the Fall.

You are participating in the marriage ceremony on the condition that you have matured to occupy the same realm as that of Adam and Eve when they were engaged. In terms of the formation, growth and completion levels, this marriage is not taking place at the completion level. Therefore, for seven years the husband and wife have to go through a time of training together, while actively oriented in the proper direction. The couple must also educate their children to the point that they truly regard their parents as being even greater than God. That couple must become such parents and take their clan with them. Otherwise, they cannot be called a blessed family. (229-074, 1992/04/09)
 
6 You are struck with the indemnity stick after the Blessing ceremony because human beings fell by misusing their lower parts. This ritual is a condition by which you pass through that critical point in time when the lineage of three ages was defiled. When the pain from that bitter moment is washed away, the children will be liberated and will be able to cry out in joy to heaven with both hands in the air. At that time all things of creation in heaven and on earth, and everything in the heavenly nation, will respond in kind.
