What is a habit? It is defined as a type of behavior! or action that is done without directly thinking about doing it - automatic behavior!. It can also be an addiction. For example, some people shake their leg. Smoking is also considered a habit.
Your life is probably affected by small, repetitive, unthinking habits. Some of these are good habits and some are bad habits. Most of our habits we learned as children by watching our parents and other people, and we continue to learn new habits as we grow older.
It’s true that changing habits from bad to good is difficult, but you can do it. You just need determination and dedication. Doing something many times, until you do it without having to think about it, is how our actions become a habit. You can teach yourself a good habit by making yourself do something at the same time every day. And, you can teach yourself to stop doing a bad habit by replacing the bad action with a good action. For example, instead of smoking a cigarette (bad for health), eat some vegetables (good for health).
