 보스턴과 뉴욕에서 차로 약 2시간 거리에 코네티컷 주 웰링포드라는 도시에 위치해 있다.  뉴옥과 보스톤, 워싱턴DC 로 다니는 미국기차(암트랙) 이 정차하는 뉴헤븐에서 12마일 정도 떨어져 있다.  가장 가까운 공항은 하트포트 공항이 45분거리에 있다.  쵸트 로즈마리 홀은 예전부터 미국 명문학교로 자리매김 하고 있다.  현대식 건물과 고풍스러운 느낌의 건물이 조화를 이루는 400에이커의 캠퍼스를 갖고 있고, 학생들에게 학업에 대한 자발적인 동기를 마련해주며 개개인에게 부족하지 않은 관심을 갖는다. 

 240개 정도의 강좌와 25개 정도의 AP코스가 마련되어 있으며 학업 성취도가 뛰어난 학생들은 봄학기 특별 프로그램에 참가할 수 있고 중국, 스페인, 프랑스 등지로 한 학기 교환학생을 갈 수 있는 교류도 맺고 있다.  8개의 외국어 교육과정을 갖고있고 연마다 불어와 스페인어로 하는 연극 이벤트를 열기도 한다.

 교내 시설로는 도서관, 아트센터, 과학센터, 체육센터와 그 하위시설로 이루어져 있으며 기숙사는 1인실과 2인실로 나뉘어 진다.

 쵸트 로즈마리 홀은 봉사의 미덕을 강조한다.  모든 학생들은 의무적으로 30시간 이상의 봉사활동을 해야 하며 주변 적십자, YMCA, 지역 병원, Wallingford Schools 에서의 교육봉사 등에 참가하며 봉사활동 세미나를 열어 이에대한 토론과 조언으로 서로에 대한 봉사 피드백을 나눈다.  다양한 체육, 스포츠 활동을 위한 시설과 구장 또한 마련되어 있다.
