제 21부 擔重(담중)......중요한 일을 맡음......第79事

 Part 21 : Damjung(擔重,담중)... Bearing heavy Responsibilities... Chapter 79.

擔重(담중)은 중요한 일을 떠맡는 것이다.

 "Damjung(擔重,담중)" means to take upon oneself important and heavy responsibilities.

나라의 큰 일을 담당하는 직책이 있으면 국가의 안전과 위급을 담당하게 된다.

 If one holds an official duty to take charge of the great affairs of the nation,

 they become responsible for the safety and crises of the state.

따라서 우주의 원리에서 인간사의 움직임을 밝혀 순하고 거스르는 이치에 맞게

큰 일을 운영하며 모든 재능과 지혜를 다하여 성하고 쇠하는 도리를 알아야 한다.

 Therefote, one must clarify the movements of human affairs based on the principles of the universe,

 manage great affaies in accordance with the logic of conformity and opposition,

 and exert all talent and wisdom to prosperity and decline.

擔重者는 擔負重事也라 國有大事에 (담중자는 담부중사야라 국유대사에)

 "Those who practice Damjung are bearing heavy abd important affairs,

   When the nation has a great matter,"

身在當職하여 安危攸係니 (신재당직하여 안위유계니)

 "And one′s person resides in that very office,

   the safety and danger of the state are bound to them." 

籌算氣數하여 運順逆之理하고 (주산기수하여 운군역지리하고)

"One must calculate the cosmic cyaler(Qi and numbers) to operate

  within the principles of conformity and opposition,"

殫竭才智하여 知盛衰之道하느니라. (탄갈재지하여 지성쇠지도하느니라.)

 "And exhaust all talent and wisdom to know the way of rise and fall."
