♠지혜로운 사람은 "나"에 대한 존재의 이유를 안다.(A wise man knows the reason for being "I".) ♠

겉 다르고 속 다르다는 말이 있듯이 사람의 마음 속을 알 수 있는 사람은 아무도 없습니다. (As there is a saying that it is different on the outside and inside, no one can know the inside of a person's mind.)

그럼에도 불구하고 사람들은 자기 눈에 보여지는 모습에 보고 지혜자(智慧/知慧者, a wise man)인지를 분별을 하고 판단(判斷, decision)을 하고 있습니다.(Nevertheless, people judge whether they are wise by what they see.)

알 수 없는데도 마치 아는 것처 럼 판단(判斷, judgment)을 합니다.(Even though I don't know, I judge as if I know.)

성실하고 착한 것과 지혜(智慧/知慧, wise)로운 것은 분명히 다름에도 그런 선해 보이고,(Being sincere and good and being wise certainly seem to be such goodness, even though they are different,)

깨끗한 모습을 보고 지혜자(智慧/知慧者, a wise man)라고 판단을 쉽게 하는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.(You can see that it makes it easier to judge you as a wise man by looking at your clean appearance.)

사람을 보려 하지 마세요. 너무
알려고도 하지 마세요.(Don't try to look at people. Don't try to know too much.)

그것을 보려 하는 것은 깊은 바다 위에서 마치 그 속에 무엇이 있나 보려 하는 것과 같은 것입니다.(Trying to see it is like trying to see what's inside of it in the deep ocean.)

보이지도 않고 볼 수도 없음을 알 l면서도 굳이 보려 애를 씁니다.(Even though I know that I can't see or see, I try to watch it.)

중요한 것은 "나" 입니다. 내가 지혜자 인지 우매자(愚昧者, a hooligist:어리 석고 사리에 어둡다는 의미입니다.) 인지 분별할 줄 아는 사람이 슬기로운 사람입니다.(The important thing is "I." It is a wise man who knows whether[ It means that it's dark about the plaster.] I am a wise man or a wise man.)

다음 세대를 내가 염려할 것이 아닙니다. 그들은 또 우리와 같이 그들의 세대를 살아가는 것입니다.(It's not for me to worry about the next generation, they're also living their generation like us.)

"나"에 대한 존재의 이유를 알지 못하면 서 다른 사람이 선하냐, 깨끗하냐,(Is anyone else good or clean without knowing the reason for existence for "I",)

지혜자냐 알려고 한다면 정말 어리석은 사람입니다.(If you're trying to know if you're a wise man, you're a fool.)

"나"도 알지 못하고 스스로 책임질 수 없으면서도 다른 사람을 알고 책임지려 한다면 그는 어리석은 사람입니다.(If you don't even know "I" and you can't take responsibility for yourself, but you know and try to take responsibility for others, he's an idiot.)

지혜(智慧/知慧, wise)로운 사람은 "나"에 대한 존재(存在, existence)의 이유를 알고 스스로 몸을 사리는 사람입 니다.(A wise man is a man who knows the reason for being about "me" and saves himself.)
