Our Secondary student travellers packed their final days in Shanghai with unforgettable experiences before boarding the plane back to Kuala Lumpur, their hearts full and cameras brimming with memories. Their journey began with a step back in time at the historic Gongchen Bridge, a magnificent three-arch stone structure built in 1631 during the Ming Dynasty, standing an impressive 16 metres high, offering a perfect vantage point to admire the city's enduring heritage. From there, they glided onto the tranquil waters of West Lake (Xi Hu), the famed UNESCO World Heritage site in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, where they drifted past willow-lined causeways and historic pagodas, soaking in the serene beauty that has inspired poets for centuries. No visit was complete without capturing the dazzling Shanghai skyline and marveling at the futuristic lotus-shaped stadium rising beside the Qiantang River. Yet it was the striking Louis Vuitton ship, a breathtaking 30-metre-tall structure resembling a stacked-trunk cruise ship, spanning 1,600 square metres that truly captivated them, as it featured the 'Visionary Journeys' exhibition across two floors, tracing the brand's legacy of craftsmanship and iconic travel trunks. When the students finally arrived back at school safely, exhausted but beaming, alongside their dedicated chaperones Mr. Wong and Ms. Esther, it was clear that this rewarding adventure had left an indelible mark, a perfect finale to an enriching chapter of their secondary school journey this year!
