Housemate's moving out. Looking for a student to take the room.

I'm bioinfo student from Korea, transferring into UBC MBIM as a junior for Fall 2027. Honestly just want to build some UBC network while I'm at it — hence the perks below.

The room

Granvile & Nanton Ave, Shaughnessy (West Side)

$980/mo + $70 utilities

Furnished: queen bed, desk/chair, separate walk-in closet

2nd floor, end of the hallway on the left — quietest spot in the house

4BR / 2.5BA garden suite, newly reno'd, in-unit W/D, dishwasher, garden access

Bathrooms: full tub/shower shared with one housemate. The other two of us (me included) each have our own half-bath → effectively just two of you using the full bath.

~30 min to UBC on the #25 bus (one-seat). Also one bus to Downtown / YVR.

No smoking. Credit check / proof of income / refs required.

Me: freelancer + student, prepping UBC transfer. Out in Toronto Apr 27–30 for a conference.

Housemate A: full-time WFH
