가짜뉴스에 속아 가짜뉴스를 퍼뜨린 또다른 대통령

튀르키예의 에르도안 대통령은 2022년 12월 26일에 터키 에르주룸에서 크리스티아노 호날도가 전술적인 이유로

벤치에 앉아서 쉬게 되자( 카타르 월드컵 도중에), 호날도가 팔레스타인과 연대했고 팔을 지지했다는 이유로

월드컵에서 금지 당했다고 공표했습니다. 그러자 그것은 사실이 아니라고 호날도측 매니저와 여러 관계자들이 확인해

주었습니다. 에르도안의 주장은 호날도가 팔레스타인 깃발을 몸에 감고 팔레스타인을 해방시키라고 울부짖었다는데

본인은 평생 그런적이 없고, 공개적으로 정치적 이슈나 성명을 낸적이 없다고 밝혔습니다.

그럼에도 불구하고 틱톡 등에는 호날도가 팔레스타인 깃발을 몸에 감고, 알라후 악크발, 울부짖으며,

팔레스타인을 해방시키라고 팔레스타인 리브레, 를 외치는 영상들이 무수히 나옵니다. 그런데 그 영상들은

모두 조작영상이라는 것입니다.

호날도는 한번도 팔레스타인이나 이스라엘이나 어느 쪽에도 지지한다고 한 적이 없다고 했습니다.

그럼에도 수천개의 영상들이 돌아다니는데, 그 영상을 본 수많은 사람들이 좋아요, 또 호날도를 존경합니다.

위대한 호날도, 호날도 리스펙트, 등의 찬사들이 올라와 있습니다.

인간들은 거짓말에 속기 쉽습니다.

속는 사람들에게 당신들은 속고 있습니다, 하여 그들이 속지 않도록 하기는 그냥 그 사람들을 덩달아 속이는 것보다 훨씬 어렵습니다.

차라리 속이는 사람들 행렬에 참여하여 그냥 속는 사람들을 속이는 것이 훨씬 쉽습니다.

에르도안은 자기가 내뱉은 말이 가짜영상에 속은데 근거를 둔 가짜 소문이었지만, 나중에 사과하거나, 자기가 속았었다고

말한 적이 없이 그냥 넘어갔습니다.

그 정도는 후안무치 해야 대통령질을 할수 있는 것으로 보입니다.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan claimed in December 2022 that Cristiano Ronaldo was subjected to a "political ban" at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar because he "stands for the Palestinian cause." Erdogan stated that the Portuguese footballer was "wasted" by being sent onto the pitch as a substitute with only 30 minutes remaining, which he argued ruined the player's psychology and energy. 

However, no evidence was provided by Erdogan to support the claim, and it is noted that Ronaldo has never issued public statements regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  Fact-checks have also debunked related viral claims, such as a video showing a footballer waving a Palestinian flag, which was identified as Morocco's Jawad El Yamiq rather than Ronaldo.

• Context: Remarks made at a youth rally in Erzurum, Turkey. 

• Reality: The claim remains unfounded with no official record of a ban; Ronaldo was simply benched for tactical reasons during the tournament. 

Cristiano Ronaldo has never officially stated support for Palestine or issued public comments on the Israel-Palestine conflict.  While numerous viral claims and doctored videos allege his backing, fact-checkers have debunked these as fake or altered content. 

• Deepfake Videos: Recent viral clips showing Ronaldo saying "I love Palestine" or "I stand with Palestine" are AI-generated deepfakes; the original, unedited interviews do not contain these statements. 

• Fabricated Quotes: Widespread social media posts attributing quotes like "I support Palestine and mourn the innocent children" to him are false, with his representatives denying such statements. 

• Misinterpreted Gestures: Images of Ronaldo wearing a keffiyeh or holding a sign reading "Todos con Palestine" have been proven to be photoshopped or misidentified; the original images show him supporting victims of an earthquake in Spain or meeting the Palestinian Football Association. 

• Charity Claims: Reports that he donated €1.5 million or auctioned his Golden Boot for Palestinians were denied by his management in 2019, though he did donate proceeds from a shoe auction to the Real Madrid Charity Foundation in 2011, which supported schools in Gaza. 

Despite President Erdogan claiming Ronaldo "stands for the Palestinian cause" and faced a "political ban" at the World Cup, Ronaldo has never confirmed these stances, and his representatives have not endorsed such political positions.
