일단 선생님에 대해 말씀드리면,28살 캐네디언 여자 선생님 놀스베이 출신이구요,

한국에 4년동안 학생들을 가르치신 경험이 있어서 한국학생들이 자주 범하는 스피킹실수,발음,콩글리쉬 등등

아주 잘 찝어내시고,알맞은 어휘,이디엄,문장형태로 교정을 아주 잘해주십니다.

(말하는 즉시 짤라서 교정해주는게 아니라, 일일이 다 노트에 적으셔서 말 다 끝까지 들어주신다음에 마지막에 교정해주시는 스타일 입니다) 

원래 성격이 아주 낙천적이고,유머감각이 있어서 수업이 시간가는줄 모르게 후딱 지나갑니다.

저도 한 2달여간 같이 공부하고 있는데, 조금 더 일찍 알지 못하게 된것이 아쉽네요.

워낙 정도 많으시고,학생들을 너무 금전적으로 시간때우기식의 그런 튜터링이 아니라, 수업시간이외에도 자주 만나서 밥도 먹고 커피도 마시면서 같이 이야기도 하고 ,친목을 도모하는 그런 성격이시기 때문에 같이 공부하시면 많은 도움이 되리라

생각해서 이렇게 광고를 올립니다.

가장 중요한 레슨비는, 한시간당 $15 이구요(기본),원하시면 2시간도 할 수 있다고 하시네요.

보통 한시간에 $20불이 평균인데, 학생들 어렵게 유학생활하는거 잘 알고 한국학생들 좋아해서 $5불 디스카운트 해주시는 거라네요.

장소는 어디든 가능하시다고 하는데, 영앤 블루어 도서관을 선호하시는 것 같구요, 그거는 뭐 선생님이랑 상의해서 서로 편한곳으로 하시면 될 것 같구, 단 시간이 오전 9:00~12:00 , 오후 5:30~9:00  요사이에만 튜터링을 하신다고 합니다.

저도 선생님이랑 같이 공부하면서, 일상적인 생활표현부터 고급표현까지 많이 배웠구요, 논쟁적인 아티클을 통해 서로 debate 하면서, 평소 학원에서 접하지 못했던 주제와 기사들을 공부하면서 영어 능력을 향상 시키고 있는 중입니다.

Enclosed is my resume which highlights my work experiences as well as my various skills. I am applying to the full time TESL course beginning in May. I recently finished my third teaching contract in Korea, and also hold a bachelor’s degree from The University of Guelph as well as an Oxford TESOL certificate.

Throughout my teaching experiences I have completed many duties including  course assessment, curriculum enhancement, grading students, organizing as well as chaperoning field trips and outlining curriculums for summer and winter camps. I feel that both having lived abroad and having traveled extensively, I have developed the skills required to comfortably assimilate into another culture. I am looking to expand my skills and abilities developed through both my education as well as life experience with your TESL program. Through the participation in many extracurricular activities such as swimming, volunteering and coordinating summer camps for children I have learned to act as a part of a team and also be an encouraging leader.
