Uplands-Year 5 students - beach excavation provocation!

The International School of Penang (Uplands) took learning beyond the classroom last week as our Year 5 students took part in a beach excavation provocation!

With curiosity leading the way, our students explored the beach, investigated what they could discover and got hands-on with their learning.

They carefully examined their surroundings, searched for clues and worked together to uncover interesting findings along the shore.

The experience encouraged our young explorers to ask questions, share ideas, make observations and think like real investigators.

It was wonderful to see their excitement grow as they discovered more and connected their outdoor experience to their learning in the classroom.

A big shoutout to our Year 5 Risk Takers for getting stuck in, embracing the adventure and making the most of this hands-on learning experience!

We can’t wait to see where their curiosity takes them next!

호기심을 따라 우리 학생들은 해변을 탐험하며 발견할 수 있는 것들을 조사하고 직접 체험하며 배움을 실천했습니다.

그들은 주변을 꼼꼼히 살피며 단서를 찾았고, 함께 힘을 모아 해안가에서 흥미로운 발견들을 찾아냈습니다.

이 경험은 우리 어린 탐험가들이 질문을 던지고, 아이디어를 나누며, 관찰하고, 진짜 탐구자처럼 생각하도록 격려했습니다.

더 많은 것을 발견하며 야외 경험과 교실 학습을 연결하는 과정에서 아이들의 흥미가 커지는 모습을 보니 정말 기뻤습니다.
