HSE MBA Program Admission Schedule

in later half of the Year 2009 : Seoul - Helsinki, Singapore

Program Structure
The HSE E/MBA program is designed for the Competent Individuals who wish to receive a fully accredited MBA in the competitive class of higher graduate-level.  A number of factors are considered in selecting candidates for an MBA programme. In most cases, each applicant is eval‎!!uated on his or her own professional performance, academic records & scores, professional recommendations, and a demonstrated ability to accomplish the toughest graduate-level business coursework.(HSE ranked 9th in the world)

One half of the MBA program is devoted to core modules & Project work. The goal of the core modules is to identify key management concepts and current issues, develop a framework for eval‎!!uating them and provide the participant with skills for choosing to apply these concepts as appropriate. They also form the foundation for the Project Work and electives, which cover the remaining half of the program. Successful completion of all core modules during 18 months is essential for receiving internationally recognized " the HSE MBA degree" , one of the most respected degrees in the world.  Once all coursework is satisfactorily completed, a full Master of Business Administration(MBA) degree from Helsinki School of Economics is awarded.

- Need to have Good commnad of English//good at math..etc.(including recommendable need-to-know basics previously)

- Fully intensive class with international faculty, a lot of prereading materials(typically Books, Articles, Cases...etc.) prior to each of classes

- Fully interactive & fast-paced class with comprehensive understanding of materials on the spot in classroom   
- Take-home assignments to apply the learning in practice (selectively with subject-paced self-mastery project)

- Take a lot of pop quizes seperately from regular exams

- Everydays is devoted to hard preparation for class in each of modules but may be insufficient time, asleep at the switch.  

- The program is composed of much more total credit hours & classes than the other full-time program.

- You need to study more time outside the classroom than in-classroom. 

- The international Week and study tour take place in Helsinki.

- Compulsory to completing BSP(Business Strategy Project) by yourself

- Mandatory to participate in everyday's full-time classes at Helsinki for final quarters and graduate ceremony in HSE, Aalto University, Helsinki. 

- International Alumni Network.......etc.

Admission Schedule Date&Time		- Only One Round     HSE MBA 2010-2012 Fair Session : Up in the air, Seoul (TBD)    Application Period :  19th of Jul.  ~ 26th of Aug. (Latest Updated Date)   ※ Earlier application, Better position.     Interview Date : A personal interview will be notified individually.     ※ Only for the applicatnts accepted/selected by examining full application packages    Process Length : About 4 Weeks (Under the receipt of the full application package)    Announcement & Offer : 20th of September (to be scheduled)    ※ Only applicants passed to make it through final screening process, Individual Interview.

Applicants will be informed of admission or non-acceptance. In order to be considered a selected participant of the HSE  MBA Program, an applicant must receive and accept an offer of participation sent by HSE, Aalto University.(All admission is finally decided by BOS; Board of Studies, HSE, Aalto University, Helsinki)
