The purpose of this essay is not simply to evaluate writing ability, but to assess each practitioner's understanding of the principles of Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu, personal growth through training, and the ability to connect martial arts with everyday life.
Applicants should write from their own experiences, observations, and understanding rather than copying information from books or the internet.
■ Essay Requirements
○ 1st Dan
- Select at least one topic.
- Write a minimum of one A4 page.
- Explain your personal understanding and training experience.
○ 2nd Dan
- Select at least two topics.
- Write a minimum of two A4 pages.
- Demonstrate how the selected topics relate to your martial arts practice and your daily life.
○ 3rd Dan
- Select at least three topics.
- Write a minimum of two A4 pages.
- Demonstrate a deeper understanding by integrating martial arts, philosophy, healing, and your personal experiences.
