ISKL community of the passing of Ms Stella Therond.

It is with great sadness that we inform the ISKL community of the passing of Ms Stella Therond. Stella was our beloved ES Librarian who came to ISKL in August 2024 and brought an infectious joy and presence to our library with her colorful personality, vibrant creativity and deep love of literature and reading. Stella, along with a group of students, increased our Mother Tongue section of the ES library and established a new Dyslexia section. Students have referred to Stella as the 'life of the library'. Her impact and presence will be deeply missed.

스텔라 테론드 선생님의 별세 소식을 ISKL 커뮤니티에 전하게 되어 큰 슬픔을 느낍니다. 스텔라 선생님은 2024년 8월 ISKL을 방문해 다채로운 성격과 활기찬 창의력, 문학과 독서에 대한 깊은 사랑으로 도서관에 전염병 같은 기쁨과 존재감을 안겨주신 사랑스러운 ES 사서님이었습니다. 스텔라 선생님은 학생들과 함께 ES 도서관의 모국어 섹션을 늘리고 난독증 섹션을 신설했습니다. 학생들은 스텔라 선생님을 '도서관의 삶'이라고 불렀습니다. 스텔라 선생님의 영향력과 존재감은 깊이 그리울 것입니다.
