I am Brian U Kim. I am an Educator at a High School. How are you doing? How's everything going these days? "Solnal" is just around the corner. I understand you enjoy much free time relaxing or talking and drinking. I wish you the best of luck next year, "year of sheep"
I am writing this letter in an attempt to trigger communication in English and furtehr develop friendship on the cyber space. As a teacher and learner of English, I keenly realize the need to drill constantly to develop language skill, without being conscious of dignity, age and gender.
As a matter of fact, however, I idled much of my free time away doing nothing helpful for my career. So I decided to turn over a new leaf from this year on. My motto is "There is no shorcut." Practice is the best way in learnig English, I think. In learning English, I think we should be outgoing and even aggressive, keeping dignity and humanity as an individual.
My basic idea is to discuss topics in terms of pros and cons basis or just expressing opinions on the specific topics both on the internet and through regular meeting once or every other week.
In this regard, I have to extend my deepest apology for not showing up at the regular meeting. I hoped to join the regular meeting but things didn't work well each time. I cannot assure you that I can participate in the meeting in the near future since I got tied up with chores or hectic schedules, which are unpredictable in some cases. Rather, I wish I can communicate on the cyber space, if it OK.
On the other hand, I posted some topics in the section of Pros and Cons, but few responses have been given. Consequently, I am considering of ending the posting. It is, of course, good for practice on my part but if it is useless to the members, I think I'd better give it up. Please understand how I feel.
Thank you for your attention to my letter and I look forward to your frank and warm opinion and again wish you a happy new year.
