think류 동사 간접의문문 만들기

◈ think, believe, guess, suppose, imagine 동사는 간접의문문에서 의문사가 문두로 간다.

     ο  의문사+ do you think +주어+동사

     ο  단, 의문사가 주어 일때 : 의문사 + do you think +동사 순이다.

  1. do you think? + What are they doing?

     → Do you think what they are doing?(X)

     → What do you think they are doing?(O)

   2. How old was she?

     → Do you know how old she was?

     → How old do you think she was?

    3. 의문사가 주어 일때

         Do you think +  Who made this table?

         = Who do you think made this table?

         Do y ou think + Who is the great inventor of all time?

         =  Who do you think is the great inventor of all tiime?

     4. 비교해 봅니다.

       1) Who do you think is the smartest student in the class? (원어민이 더 많이 쓰는 표현)

                                                                    '누가' 가장 똑똑한 학생인지를 궁금해 하는 경우

           Who is the smartest student in the class? (Who가 주어)

       2) Who do you think the smartest student is in the class?

                                                                       가장 똑똑한 학생은 이미 알고 있는 경우

           Who is the smartest student? (the smartest student가 주어)

     5. Who are you? 와 Who do you think you are? 의 비교

           Who are you?  '너 누구니?'

         Who do you think you are?  '너 따위가 건방지게 뭔데?' '왜 나서?' '왠 참견?'
