<DIV class=articleBody><B>NEW YORK, Dec. 1 –</B>The Cleveland Cavaliers’ <A href="http://www.nba.com/playerfile/lebron_james/index.html">LeBron James</A> and the Phoenix Suns’ <A href="http://www.nba.com/playerfile/steve_nash/index.html">Steve Nash</A> today were named Eastern Conference and Western Conference Players of the Month, respectively, for games played from the start of the season (November 2) through November 30.

His career-high 43 points in a 92-76 win over the Detroit Pistons is the highest in the NBA this season.
<P>Nash tops the NBA in assists, averaging 11.4, dishing out 12 or more assists in eight games. For the month, he recorded 16.0 ppg on .558 shooting, ranking fourth in the league and had 18 steals. The Suns are off to their best start since the 1980-81 season and have the best record (12-2, .857) in the NBA.

<P><B><U>LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers</B></U><BR><B>Nov. 10 vs. Phoenix:</B> Scored 31 points with eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals in a 114-109 overtime victory over Phoenix.<BR><B>Nov. 15 vs. Golden State:</B> Tallied 33 points with a season-high 12 rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in a 99-88 win over the Warriors.<BR><B>Nov. 24 vs. Detroit:</B> Had a career-high 43 points, six rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block in a 92-76 victory over the Pistons.
<P><B><U>Steve Nash, Phoenix Suns</B></U><BR><B>Nov. 16 @ Dallas:</B> Had a season-high 18 assists, 17 points and six rebounds in a 107-101 win over Dallas.<BR><B>Nov. 19 vs. LA Lakers: </B>Recorded 18 points, six assists and one rebound in a win over the Lakers 107-102. <BR><B>Nov. 21 vs. LA Clippers: </B>Tallied 22 points, 18 assists, three rebounds and a season- high four steals in a 122-111 victory over the Clippers.
