기성안식일교회 모 합회장등 5명 비행기 추락사고로 사망-기사 발췌,

기성SDA관련 게시판에서 퍼온글입니다 자원봉사자 조종사 성도1명 빼놓고 합회 임원4명과 ,주 조종사1명이 모두 사망 한 슬픈소식이군요 고인들에게 명복을 빕니다 ***** 그런데 이런일을 당한 이쯤해서 우리가 한번 생각해 봅시다 교회의 임원들은 그야말로 그분의 몸된 중요한 사업을위한 직분이요 지체들인데 그것도 한명도 아니고 한꺼번에 즉사하는 죽음을 맛보게 하는것이 과연 하나님의 뜻일까요? 비운을 당한 사람을 비난하려는 것이 아니라,,, 20세기를 살아가는 기성안식일교회에 이제는하나님의 성령이 떠났다는 증거를 우리에게 알리려는 것 같다고 저는 보고 싶습니다 정말 고인들에게는 매우 죄송한 말씀 인줄 모르겠지만 ,,,, 냉정하게 생각할땐 생각해 봅시다 우리 살아있는 사람들은 깨달읍시다 진리교회에 그런일이 생기는 것이 가능할까요? 매순간 하나님의 은혜로 동행하고 기도하며 교제하고 있는 우리에게 즉사하는 사망의 결과를 창출해 낼수있을까요 ...여러분에게 묻고싶습니다 한명도 아니고 ... 그순간 하나님의 천사들은 잠자고 있었을까요..... 진리교회라면 과연 그런일이 생기는 것이 있을수 있을까요? 저는 도저히 이해가 안됩니다 늙어서 죽고 아파서 죽은 것은 얼마든지 우리에게 가능하다고 봅니다 아무튼 그리스도와 사단의 대쟁투아래에 사시는 저와 여러분들은 조심하여야 할것이며 ,,,하루속히 이글을 읽으시는 기성안식일 성도님들은 그교회에서 나오셔서 이 일곱째 교회의 남은교회로서 하나님이 세우신 저희 교회로 어서 속히 오셔서 함께 위탁받은 사업을 이루어 갑시다 이것이 우리에게 요구하시는 하나님의 뜻입니다 다시한번 고인들에게는 진심으로 애도를 표하는 바입니다 ***************************************** 죠지아 컴벌랜드 합회 비행기 추락, 5명 사망 이름 : 카스다 - 관련글 메일수신 번호 : 174 게시일 : 2004/12/02 (목) PM 07:17:10 (수정 2004/12/03 (금) PM 04:59:54) 조회 : 291 12월 2일(목) 오후 1시 15분, 죠지아 컴벌랜드 합회의 쌍발 엔진 세스나(CESSNA) 소형 비행기가 테네시주의 칼리지데일 근처에서 이륙직후 추락하여 탑승한 6명 중에 5명이 사망하였다.유일한 생존자는 부조종사이다. 이들이 탑승한 세스나 421번기는 칼리지데일 북쪽 2마일 선상의 파인힐(Pine Hill)과 맥도날드(McDonad) 도로상의 들판에 이륙 직후 곧바로 추락하였다. 비행기는 추락하면서 두동강이 났고, 곧바로 화염에 휩싸였다. 이들은 칼리지데일에서 지역 목회자 모임을 갖고, 낙스빌로 가서 해당 지역의 목회자들과 또 다른 합회 합회장들과의 모임을 가질 예정이었다. 사망한 이는 죠지아 컴벌랜드 합회의 임원, 부장, 직원들로서 아래와 같다. 1. 합회장인 데이브 크레스(Dave Cress) 목사, 2. 총무부장인 짐 프로스트 (Jim Frost) 목사, 3. 홍보부장인 Jamie Arnall, 4. 인디아나 합회장으로 은퇴한 후에 죠지아 컴벌랜드 합회의 합회장 보좌관으로 일하던 클래이 팔웰(Clay Farwell ) 목사, 5. 경비행기 조종사 John Laswell 유일한 생존자인 부조종사 James Huff는 의식을 차리고 비행기에서 빠져 나왔다. 그는 약간 다쳤을 뿐인데, 사고 후 걸어서 인근 주택으로 갔고, 곧바로 Erlanger 의료 센터로 후송되었다. 그의 상태는 양호한 것을 알려졌다. 허프는 재림교인으로서 자원 봉사자 조종사이었다. 죠지아-컴벌랜드 합회는 합회 관할지역이 워낙 방대하여 그동안 경비행기를 합회 임직원들의 출장용으로 사용하였다. 희생자의 가족들과 이들의 동료들을 위하여의 카스다 가족들의 기도를 요청한다. ________________ <희생자들의 인적 및 경력> 합회장 데이비드 크레스 Dave Cress served as President for the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists since April of 2002. Beginning in 1986, Dave served as the Youth Ministries Director, Family Life Director and coordinated ministries for church members serving in the United States Armed Forces. He then served as Vice President for Administration and was elected to serve as President in April of 2002. Dave began his ministry as a pastor in the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Dave loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor. Dave’s wife, Lynn, and seven-year-old daughter, Meredith, actively shared in his ministry. 총무부장 짐 프로스트 목사 Jim Frost served as Vice President for Administration for the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Jim was born and raised in England. His ministry began in Georgia-Cumberland began in 1991, serving as chaplain at Emory Adventist Hospital in Smyrna, GA. Then, as pastor in the Albany and Gainesville, GA church districts. He most recently served in the post of Ministerial Director for the Central Region, which encompasses the greater metropolitan areas of Atlanta and Chattanooga. He was elected to serve as Vice President in April of 2002. Jim had dual citizenship in the United States and the United Kingdom. Jim’s wife, Cindy, faithfully shared in his ministry. His 17-year-old daughter, Brittany, was the pride of his life. 홍보부장 재이미 아날 씨 Jamie Arnall served as Director of Communications for the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Jamie began his communication internship in Georgia-Cumberland in 1999, transitioning to Assistant Director in 2001 and Associate Director in 2002. He was elected Director of Communications in 2003. His wife, Erin, of three years was an integral part of his ministry. They loved photography and travel. His twin brother, Jeremy, is a pastor in Crossville, TN. 합회장 행정 보좌관 클레이 팔웰 목사 Clay Farwell began his role as Assistant to the President for the Georgia-Cumberland Conference of Seventh-day Adventists on Dec. 1, 2004. Elder Farwell served as president of the Indiana conference until two years ago when he and his wife, Jo, retired to their “farm” in Tennessee. Elder Farwell is widely known and respected for his more than 35 years of service and leadership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America. He served the church as a pastor and conference Youth Director in several conferences, Youth Director for the Southern Union, Vice President for Adventist Health System, and President of the Kentucky/Tennessee and Indiana Conferences. During his retirement in Georgia-Cumberland conference, he was in charge of development for the Cohutta Springs Conference Center.
