Affliction Leads to Life with Repentance through the Love of God

예레미야 14장

Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 14

“내가 생명과 사망과 복과 저주를 네 앞에 두었은즉 너와 네 자손이 살기 위하여 생명을 택하고, 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하고 그의 말씀을 청종하며 그를 의지하라(신30:19-20)” 가르치며, 순종하지 않고 거역하면, “하늘은 놋이 되고 땅은 철이 될 것이며, 비 대신에 티끌과 모래를 네 땅에 내리시리니 마침내 너를 멸하리라(신28:23-24)” 경고하셨지만, 말씀의 진리를 찾지 않고 겉으로 나타나는 의미대로 열심히 경배하며 따라 지키는 율법적 믿음이 하나님을 거역한 죄가 되어, “유다가 슬퍼하며 성문의 무리가 피곤하여 땅 위에서 애통하니 예루살렘의 부르짖음이 위로 오르도다. 귀인들은 자기 사환들을 보내어 물을 얻으려 하였으나 그들이 우물에 갔어도 물을 얻지 못하여 빈 그릇으로 돌아오니 부끄럽고 근심하여 그들의 머리를 가리며, 땅에 비가 없어 지면이 갈라지니 밭 가는 자가 부끄러워서 그의 머리를 가리는도다. 들의 암사슴은 새끼를 낳아도 풀이 없으므로 내버리며, 들 나귀들은 벗은 산 위에 서서 승냥이 같이 헐떡이며 풀이 없으므로 눈이 흐려진다(14:2-6)” 하셨듯, 가뭄과 기근으로 징계를 받게 되었습니다.

God the heavenly Father instructed to his people, as “I have set before o life and death, blessing and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live, and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, ad hold fast to him. (Deuteronomy30:19-20)” And, warned to them, if not keep his commands but disobey it, he will punish, as “The sky you’re your head will be bronze, the ground beneath you iron. The Lord will turn the rain of your country into dust and powder; it will come down from the skies until you are destroyed. (Deuteronomy28:23-24)” But the Israelites were disobeyed and had been sentenced to their punishment, as “Judah mourns, her cities languish; they wail, for the land, and a cry goes up from Jerusalem. The nobles send their servants for water. They return with their jars unfilled; dismayed and despairing, they cover their heads. The ground is cracked because there is no rain in the land; the farmers are dismayed and cover their heads. Even the doe in the field deserts her newborn fawn because there is no grass. Wild donkeys stand on the barren heights and pant like jackals; their eyesight fails for lack of pasture. (14:2-6)”

하나님의 경고를 들은 예레미야가 “여호와여 우리의 죄악이 우리에게 대하여 증언할지라도 주는 주의 이름을 위하여 일하소서 우리의 타락함이 많습니다 우리가 주께 범죄하였습니다. 이스라엘의 소망이요 고난 당할 때의 구원자시여 어찌하여 이 땅에서 거류하는 자 같이, 하룻밤을 유숙하는 나그네 같이 하십니까. 어찌하여 놀란 자 같으시며 구원하지 못하는 용사 같습니까 여호와여 주는 그래도 우리 가운데 계시고 우리는 주의 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 자들이니 우리를 버리지 마소서(14:7-9)” 회개하고 간구했지만, “여호와께서 이 백성에 대하여 말씀하시되 그들이 어그러진 길을 사랑하여 그들의 발을 멈추지 아니하므로 여호와께서 그들을 받지 아니하고 이제 그들의 죄를 기억하고 그 죄를 벌하리라 하시고, 여호와께서 또 내게 이르시되 너는 이 백성을 위하여 복을 구하지 말라. 그들이 금식할지라도 내가 그 부르짖음을 듣지 아니하겠고 번제와 소제를 드릴지라도 내가 그것을 받지 아니할 뿐 아니라 칼과 기근과 전염병으로 내가 그들을 멸하리라(14:10-12)” 하셨는데, 근본적인 죄를 올바로 알지 못하는 회개나 간구는 하나님께서 듣지 않고 용서하지 않는 공의와 심판의 법칙을 가르칩니다.

SO that the prophet Jeremiah was pleaded to forgiveness and delivered them with repented by God’s name’s sake, as “Although our sins testify against us, O Lord, do something for the sake of your name. For our backsliding is great; we have sinned against you. O hope of Israel, its Savior in times of distress, why are you like a stranger in the land, like a traveler who stays only a night? Why are you like a man taken by surprise, like a warrior powerless to save? You are among us, O Lord, and we bear your name; do not forsake us. (14:7-9)” But the Lord did not accept his prayer but denied as “This is what the Lord says about this people: They greatly love to wander; they do not restrain their feet. So, the Lord does not accept them; he will now remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins. Then the Lord said to me, Do not pray for the well-being of this people. Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry; though they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague. (14:10-12)” Because, whoever, he does not correctly know his sins or repent, he could not forgiveness but punished through the uprightness laws if God in Christ Jesus.

그것을 알게 된 선지자 예레미야가 “슬프옵니다 주 여호와여 보시옵소서 선지자들이 그들에게 이르기를 너희가 칼을 보지 아니하겠고 기근은 너희에게 이르지 아니할 것이라 내가 이 곳에서 너희에게 확실한 평강을 주리라 하나이다(14:13)” 하였듯, 생명의 말씀을 맡은 믿음의 지도자들이 하나님의 진리를 전하지 않고, 사람들이 듣기 원하고 좋아하는 말들을 하나님 말씀이라 선포하고 가르치므로 나라와 민족이 그릇된 믿음에 빠지고 징계와 심판을 받는데, “여호와께서 내게 이르시되 선지자들이 내 이름으로 거짓 예언을 하도다 나는 그들을 보내지 아니하였고 그들에게 명령하거나 이르지 아니하였거늘 그들이 거짓 계시와 점술과 헛된 것과 자기 마음의 거짓으로 너희에게 예언하는도다. 그러므로 내가 보내지 아니하였어도 내 이름으로 예언하여 이르기를 칼과 기근이 이 땅에 이르지 아니하리라 하는 선지자들에 대하여 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하셨노라 그 선지자들은 칼과 기근에 멸망할 것이요. 그들의 예언을 받은 백성은 기근과 칼로 말미암아 예루살렘 거리에 던짐을 당할 것인즉 그들을 장사할 자가 없을 것이요 그들의 아내와 아들과 딸이 그렇게 되리니 이는 내가 그들의 악을 그 위에 부음이니라(14:14-16)” 하셨듯, 성경 말씀을 전하더라도 하나님의 뜻대로 전하지 않으면 거짓말을 전하는 자가 되고, 믿고 따르는 자들과 함께 멸망으로 심판하기 때문에, “좁은 문으로 들어가라 멸망으로 인도하는 문은 크고 그 길이 넓어 그리로 들어가는 자가 많고, 생명으로 인도하는 문은 좁고 길이 협착하여 찾는 자가 적음이라(마7:13-14)” 가르치셨습니다.

That’s why, Jeremiah was complaint the sins of the false prophets and priests, as “Ah, Sovereign Lord, the prophets keep telling them, You will not see the sword or suffer famine. Indeed, I will give you lasting peace in this place. (14:13)” And the Lord answered to him, as “The Lord said to me, The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds. Therefore, this is what the Lord says about the prophets who are prophesying in my name: I did not send them, yet they are saying, No sword or famine will touch this land. Those same prophets will perish by sword and famine. And the people they are prophesying to will be thrown out into the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and sword. There will be no one to bury them or their wives, their sons of their daughters. I will pour out on them the calamity they deserve. (14:14-16)” Because, who does not preach the gospel along the Holy Spirit, he shall be false teacher and the sinner of the against of God only, even he had been proclaimed the words in the bible. That’s why the Lord Jesus was instructed it, as “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small as the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew:13-14)”

그런데, “너는 이 말로 그들에게 이르라 내 눈이 밤낮으로 그치지 아니하고 눈물을 흘리리니 이는 처녀 딸 내 백성이 큰 파멸, 중한 상처로 말미암아 망함이라. 내가 들에 나간즉 칼에 죽은 자요 내가 성읍에 들어간즉 기근으로 병든 자며 선지자나 제사장이나 알지 못하는 땅으로 두루 다니도다(14:17-18)” 하셨듯, 하나님의 사랑이 부족하거나 능력이 모자라서 구원하지 못하는 것이 아니고, 죄를 결코 용납하지 못하는 하나님의 엄격하고 절대적인 공의 때문에, 눈물을 흘리고 애통하면서도 징계하고 심판하는 하나님인데, “주께서 유다를 온전히 버리시나이까 주의 심령이 시온을 싫어하시나이까 어찌하여 우리를 치시고 치료하지 아니하시나이까 우리가 평강을 바라도 좋은 것이 없고 치료받기를 기다리나 두려움만 보나이다. 여호와여 우리의 악과 우리 조상의 죄악을 인정하나이다 우리가 주께 범죄하였나이다. 주의 이름을 위하여 우리를 미워하지 마옵소서 주의 영광의 보좌를 욕되게 마옵소서 주께서 우리와 세우신 언약을 기억하시고 폐하지 마옵소서. 이방인의 우상 가운데 능히 비를 내리게 할 자가 있나이까 하늘이 능히 소나기를 내릴 수 있으리이까 우리 하나님 여호와여 그리하는 자는 주가 아니시니이까 우리가 주를 앙망하옵는 것은 주께서 이 모든 것을 만드셨음이니이다(14:19-22)” 하였듯, 사람들은 하나님의 진리를 찾아 올바로 알고 믿으며 순종하려 하지 않고, 은혜와 사랑과 구원만 바라는 그릇된 믿음에 빠지는 것이 문제입니다.

However, God will be strictly punishing for the sinners, because of he is uprightness judgement God, even he had so bitterly, pitifully lamented for the sinners through his unfailing loves, as “Speak this word to them: Let my eyes overflow with tears night and day without ceasing; for my virgin daughter-my people-has suffered a grievous wound, a crushing blow. If I go into country, I see those slain by the sword; if I go into the city, I see the ravages of famine. Both prophet and priest have gone to a land they know not. (14:17-18)” But the people does not seek, keep or obeying to the truth of God, instead, surely be fallen to astray faith of expectation for the salvation by the loves, favors of God only, as “Have you rejected Judah completely? Do you despise Zion? Why have you afflicted us so that we cannot be healed? We hoped for peace but no good has come, for a time of healing but there is only terror. O Lord, we acknowledge our wickedness and the guilt of our fathers; we have indeed sinned against you. For the sake of your name do not despise us; do not dishonor your glorious throne. Remember your covenant with us and do not break it. Do any of the worthless idols of the nations, bring rain? Do the skies themselves send down showers? No, it is you, O Lord our God. Therefore, our hope is in you, for you are the one who does all this. (14:19-22)”

그래서, 단 한 분 하나님께서 성부, 성자, 성령으로 역할을 나누어 역사하고 이루는 그리스도의 믿음과 구원과 심판의 법칙을 정하셨고, “네 길을 여호와께 맡기라 그를 의지하면 그가 이루시고, 네 의를 빛 같이 나타내시며 네 공의를 정오의 빛 같이 하시리로다(시37:5-6)” 가르치므로, 믿기만 하면 구원을 얻는다 하는 말씀의 외면적 의미에 속지 말고, 자신의 의지와 노력으로 따라 지키려는 율법적 믿음에도 빠지지 말고, 말씀을 사랑하며 마음에 새기고, 마음에 새겨진 말씀을 생각나게 하며 짝을 맞추어 가르치는 성령을 따라 믿고 의지하며 맡기고 순종하여 성령께서 임마누엘 하나님과 왕이 되어 이루는 은혜와 사랑과 진리로 많은 사람을 섬기며 그리스도 생명의 믿음으로 인도하는 사랑의 열매를 맺고 구원 얻기를 예수 이름으로 간절히 축복하며 기도합니다. 아멘.

But the Sovereign Lord, the God of Creator was set his salvation and judgement laws in Christ Jesus before he created the earth and heaven and everything in it, and divided himself to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and cooperation work to his salvation in the name of Jesus by Immanuel to whom, he had been commit his ways to God and trusts him and always humbly obeying faith only, as “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. (Psalms37:5-6)” That’s why, you do not be deceived for the outer mean of the word of God in the bible, no fallen to legalism faith, but love the words of God in the bible and keep in your deepest heart and ask, seek, knock for the real truth of God, Then the Holy Spirit will remind the words in your hearts and matched it, then you can acknowledged and recognized it, at that time, if you will believed it and entrusted yourself to God and humbly obeying to him, he will surely be your Immanuel God and work with you to be faithful witness of the Christ Jesus and save your eternal life and granted you to enter the kingdom of heaven forever.
