참부모경 - 258. 하나님의 날 선포 의의와 배경

참부모님께서는 1968년 1월 1일 서울 청파동1가 전 본부교회에서 역사적인 하나님의 날을 선포하셨다. 하나님의 날은 부모의 날과 자녀의 날과 만물의 날을 찾아 세운 승리적 기반 위에서 선포되었다. 참부모님께서 1960년 하나님의 축복 속에 성혼식을 올리신 이후 제1차 7년노정을 승리로 마무리하신 뒤 하나님의 날을 선포하신 것이다. 특히 이날은 참부모님 양위분께서 성혼 이후 8년째 되는 정월 초하루에 하나님의 창조이상이 실현되고 하나님이 지상에 안착하시는 역사 이래 처음 맞이하는 기쁜 날이라고 말씀하셨다.

1 부모의 날, 자녀의 날, 만물의 날은 있으나 아직까지 하나님의 날은 없었습니다. 하나님은 천지를 창조하셨지만 그 천지 가운데 하나님을 중심삼고 기뻐할 수 있는 날은 맞이하지 못했습니다. 그래서 1968년 정월 초하룻날을 하나님의 날로 설정하려고 하는 것입니다.

2 1968년 정월 초하룻날은 하나님이 비로소 사랑을 중심삼고 영계를 통합하고 지상을 통합하기 위해 착륙하신 기념일의 날입니다. 하나님의 사랑을 중심삼고 부모의 인연이 맺어진 그 부모를 참부모라고 합니다. 1968년 1월 1일은 비로소 하나님이 지상에서 창조이상을 중심삼고 소망하시던 날이며, 아담 해와가 하나님의 사랑을 중심삼고 한 몸이 됨으로써 하나님의 역사 이래 처음으로 지상에 착륙할 수 있는 기쁜 날입니다. 그날이 하나님의 날입니다. 천하가 다 반대하더라도 이날은 하나님에게 역사 이래, 창세 이후 처음으로 기쁜 날이고 좋은 날입니다.

3 하나님의 날에 대한 역사적 동기를 찾아보면, 1968년에 통일교회에서 제정해서 생겨난 날이 아닙니다. 이날은 하나님이 천지를 창조하기 전부터 있었습니다. 단지 나타나지 않은 것뿐이지 하나님의 창조이상 가운데 있었던 날이요, 하나님이 만물을 주관할 수 있는 영광의 자리에 등장할 수 있을 때 자동적으로 생겨날 수 있었던 날입니다. 그러기에 하나님은 그 소원의 터전 위에 만물을 짓기 시작하였습니다. 하나님은 지어진 만물을 보고 지극히 선하다고 하였습니다. 하나님의 날이 이루어지게 되면 만물 자체가 사랑의 조건이 될 수 있기 때문에 그날을 축하하고 높인다는 의미에서 선하다고 하였던 것입니다. 창조의 위업에 기쁨과 찬양의 여건이 따르는 것은 하나님의 날을 중심삼고 말씀하셨기 때문입니다. 하나님이 아담과 해와를 지어 놓고 만물을 그 휘하에 넣고 주관하라고 축복한 동기가 무엇이었느냐? 하나님은 자신의 뜻이 이루어진 다음에 직계자녀인 아담과 해와가 하나님을 모시는 가정을 편성하는 날을 맞기를 바랐습니다. 하나님은 그날을 중심삼고 아담과 해와를 축복하는 것입니다. 그날 이전에는 영원히 남을 수 있는 기쁨과 영광은 사실 있을 수 없다는 것입니다.

4 제1차 7년노정 동안에 무엇을 했느냐? 가정에 스며들 수 있는 사탄의 내연을 전부 잘라야 했습니다. 그런 과정을 거쳐서 1968년을 맞으면서는 하나님이 찾아갈 수 있는 이 가정을 중심삼고 민족과 국가와 세계를 대표할 수 있는 입장에서 사탄의 참소 조건을 안팎으로 전부 가려야 했습니다. 그것을 평면적인 입장에서 가림과 동시에 과거 역사노정에 왔다 간 아담 가정, 노아 가정, 아브라함 가정, 모세와 예수님이 못다 이룬 것을 중심삼고 내적인 탕감을 해야 됩니다. 이것을 하지 못함으로써 기독교가 2천년 동안 십자가노정을 걸어 왔기 때문에 우리도 이것을 내적, 혹은 실체적으로 탕감해야 됩니다. 이것을 한 기간이 1차 7년노정입니다. 이렇게 하여 1967년을 넘기고 1968년 정월 초하루를 비로소 하나님의 날로 설정했던 것입니다.

5 세상에서는 생일을 맞아 축하하고 결혼기념일을 맞아 축하하지만, 하나님의 날을 맞지 못한다면 인간으로서는 축하의 날들을 맞을 수 없다는 것입니다. 그렇지만 지금까지 그런 날들을 축하할 수 있었던 것은 더 좋은 날을 국가적인 날로 세워 나왔기 때문입니다. 세계에서 노동의 날이니 여성해방의 날이니 하는 날들은 전부 하나님의 날을 찾아 세우기 위한 방편적인 축하의 날들입니다. 그 축하의 날들은 그날 자체로서 기쁨을 누리기 위한 날이 아니라 지금까지 하나님의 날을 찾아 나오는 과정에 필요한 방편적이고 조건적인 축하의 날이지, 절대적인 명사를 쓸 수 있는 축하의 날은 못 됩니다. 인간이 최고로 축하할 수 있는 날은 하나님의 날입니다. 그러므로 인간은 하나님을 축하하는 날, 하나님이 기뻐하실 수 있는 그날을 맞지 못한다면 아무리 좋은 날이 있더라도 그날을 축하할 수 없다는 것입니다. 그렇지만 바랄 수 있는 한 날을 앞에 두고 그날을 동경하면서 세계적인 기쁜 날로 연결시키기 위해 축하하는 기념의 날이라면 그날은 허용되는 것입니다.

6 하나님의 날이 뭔지 압니까? 세상의 그 무엇이 반대하고, 그 무엇이 어떻다고 해도 아내의 남편에 대한 마음은 변함이 없어야 됩니다. 남편이 가는 길을 가겠다는 것이 변함없어야 된다는 것입니다. 해와가 믿지 못하는 자리에서 타락한 것인데 하나님이 믿을 수 있는 자리에 서야 되고, 또 하나님이 믿을 수 있는 자리와 더불어 남편이 백 퍼센트 믿을 수 있는 자리에 서야 됩니다. 해와가 아담을 망쳤기 때문에 여자는 백 퍼센트 믿을 수 없는 역사를 거쳐 왔는데, 비로소 어머님을 하나님이 백 퍼센트 믿고 아버님이 백 퍼센트 믿음으로써 하나님의 날을 설정할 수 있었다는 것입니다. 그것이 1968년입니다.

7 내적으로나 외적으로 사탄세계에 대해 결정적인 승리의 터전을 마련했기 때문에 비로소 에덴에서의 하나님의 날을 책정하게 되었습니다. 본래 완성한 아담 해와가 사랑의 인연을 맺었으면 하나님의 날이 시작되었을 것입니다. 그렇게 시작되었어야 했었는데 제1차 7년노정이 끝남에 따라 비로소 하나님의 날을 선포하게 되었습니다. 그래서 완성기준의 부모의 인연을 중심삼고 하나님의 사랑과 일치될 수 있는 것입니다. 하나님의 날이 책정됨으로써 하나님의 사랑을 중심삼고 새로운 가정이 출발한 그 기준은 에덴동산에서 타락하지 않고 성숙한 아담 해와를 하나님이 축복하여 사랑의 인연을 맺어 준 기준과 맞먹는다는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 사탄세계가 참소를 하거나 탕감조건을 제시하는 것이 아니라 하늘의 권한을 가지고 천사장을 지배할 수 있는 가정적 시대권으로 올라가게 된 것입니다. 이제 때가 달라졌다는 것입니다.

8 하나님의 날은 인간시조가 꿈에도 소원하던 완성 단계의 자리에 설 수 있는 날이요, 창조본연의 세계가 소원하는 날이요, 하나님이 만물을 지어 놓고 소원하시던 날입니다. 피조물과 창조주가 소원하던 날입니다. 따라서 이날은 아담 해와가 축복의 목적을 이룰 수 있는 그날이 됩니다. 또한 이날은 선한 인류의 조상이 될 수 있는 아담과 해와가 비록 개체는 다르더라도 하나님을 중심삼고 생명의 일체를 이룰 수 있는 기점이 되는 날입니다. 아담 해와가 하나님과 분리된 입장에서 다른 생명의 인연을 계승하여 악한 조상으로 출발했던 모든 한의 여건을 넘어서 선한 자리에 올라서고 하나님의 새로운 생명의 인연을 갖추어 하나님의 사랑을 중심삼고 재출발할 수 있는 자리에 서게 됨으로써 비로소 하나님의 날이 설정된 것입니다.

真の父母経 - 258. 「神の日」宣布の意義と背景

真の父母様は、一九六八年一月一日、ソウルの青坡洞一街の旧本部教会で、歴史的な「神の日」を宣布された。「神の日」は、「父母の日」と「子女の日」と「万物の日」を探して立てた勝利的基盤の上で宣布された。真の父母様は、一九六〇年、神様の祝福の中で聖婚式を挙げられて以降、第一次七年路程を勝利で締めくくられたのち、「神の日」を宣布されたのである。真の父母様の聖婚後、八年目となる正月一日に、この日は、神様の創造理想が実現し、神様が地上に安着される、歴史始まって以来、初めて迎える喜びの日であると語られた。

１ 「父母の日」、「子女の日」、「万物の日」はありますが、まだ「神の日」はありませんでした。神様は天地を創造されましたが、その天地の中で、神様を中心として喜べる日は迎えられませんでした。ですから、一九六八年一月一日を「神の日」として設定しようとするのです。
 
２ 一九六八年一月一日は、神様が初めて愛を中心として霊界を統合し、地上を統合するために着陸された記念の日です。神様の愛を中心として父母の絆が結ばれたその父母を、「真の父母」と言います。
 
一九六八年一月一日は、初めて神様が、地上で創造理想を中心として願われた日であり、アダムとエバが神様の愛を中心として一体となることによって、歴史始まって以来、初めて神様が地上に着陸できる喜びの日です。その日が「神の日」です。
 
天下がすべて反対しても、この日は神様にとって、歴史始まって以来、創世以後、初めての喜ばしい日であり、良い日なのです。
 
３ 「神の日」に対する歴史的動機を探ってみれば、一九六八年に統一教会で制定したためにできた日ではありません。この日は、神様が天地を創造する前からありました。ただ現れていなかっただけであって、神様の創造理想の中にあった日であり、神様が万物を主管できる栄光の位置に登場する時、自動的に生じ得た日です。ですから、神様は、その願いの基盤の上に万物を造り始めたのです。
 
神様は、造られた万物を見て「この上なく良（善）い」と言いました。「神の日」が成し遂げられれば、万物自体が愛の条件になり得るので、その日を祝い、高めるという意味で、「良（善）い」と言ったのです。創造の偉業に喜びと賛美の条件が伴うのは、「神の日」を中心として語られたからです。
 
神様がアダムとエバを造って、万物をその指揮下に入れ、主管しなさいと祝福した動機とは何だったのでしょうか。神様は、御自身のみ旨が成就されたあと、直系の子女であるアダムとエバが、神様に侍る家庭を編成する日を迎えることを願いました。神様は、その日を中心として、アダムとエバを祝福するのです。その日以前には、永遠に残る喜びと栄光はあり得ないというのです。
 
４ 第一次七年路程の期間に、何をしたのでしょうか。家庭に入り込むサタンの因縁をすべて切らなければなりませんでした。そのような過程を経て、一九六八年を迎えながら、神様が訪ね得るこの家庭を中心として、民族と国家と世界を代表する立場で、サタンの讒訴条件を内外ですべてえり分けなければなりませんでした。それを平面的な立場でえり分けると同時に、過去の歴史路程において、来ては逝ったアダム家庭、ノア家庭、アブラハム家庭、モーセとイエス様が果たせなかったことを中心として、内的な蕩減をしなければなりません。
 
これができなかったことによって、キリスト教が二千年間、十字架の路程を歩んできたので、私たちもこれを内的、あるいは実体的に蕩減しなければなりません。これをした期間が第一次七年路程です。このようにして、一九六七年を越え、ようやく一九六八年の一月一日を「神の日」として設定したのです。
 
５ 世の中では、誕生日を迎えて祝い、結婚記念日を迎えて祝いますが、「神の日」を迎えられないとすれば、人間としては祝賀の日々を迎えることができません。私たちが祝える日がないというのです。
 
しかし、今までそのような日々を祝うことができたのは、より良い日を国家的な日として、より良い日を世界的な日として立ててきたからです。世界における労働の日や女性解放の日などの日は、すべて「神の日」を探して立てるための方便的な祝賀の日です。その祝賀の日々は、それ自体で喜びを享受する日ではなく、今まで「神の日」を探し求めてくる過程で必要な方便的で条件的な祝賀の日であって、絶対的な名称を使える祝賀の日にはなり得ません。人間が最高に祝える日は「神の日」です。
 
ですから、人間は、神様を祝う日、神様が喜ばれるその日を迎えられなければ、いくら良い日があっても、その日を祝うことはできないというのです。しかし、願うその一日を前にして、その日を憧憬しながら、世界的な喜びの日として（その日と）連結させるために祝う記念の日であるとすれば、その日は（祝うことを）許されるのです。
 
６ 「神の日」とは何か知っているでしょうか。世の中の何が反対し、何がどうだとしても、妻の夫に対する心が変わってはいけません。夫が行く道を行こうという思いが変わってはいけないというのです。
 
エバが、信じることができない立場で堕落したので、神様が信じ得る立場に立たなければならず、また、神様が信じ得る立場とともに、夫が一〇〇パーセント信じ得る立場に立たなければなりません。
 
エバがアダムを滅ぼしたので、女性は一〇〇パーセント信じることができない歴史を経てきたのですが、初めてお母様を神様が一〇〇パーセント信じ、お父様が一〇〇パーセント信じることによって、「神の日」を設定できたというのです。それが一九六八年です。
 
７ サタン世界に対して、決定的な勝利の基盤を内的にも外的にも整えたので、初めてエデンにおける「神の日」を定めるようになりました。本来、完成したアダムとエバが愛の絆を結んだならば、「神の日」が始まったでしょう。そのように始まらなければならなかったのですが、第一次七年路程が終わることによって、初めて「神の日」を宣布するようになりました。ですから、完成基準の父母の絆を中心として、神様の愛と一致できるのです。
 
「神の日」が定められることによって、神様の愛を中心として新しい家庭が出発したその基準は、エデンの園で堕落せずに成熟したアダムとエバを神様が祝福し、愛の絆を結んでくれた基準に匹敵するというのです。そのため、サタン世界が讒訴をしたり、蕩減条件を提示したりするのではなく、天の権限をもって天使長を統治できる家庭的時代圏に上がるようになりました。今や時が変わったというのです。
 
８ 「神の日」は、人間始祖が夢にまで願っていた完成段階の位置に立てる日であり、創造本然の世界が願う日であり、神様が万物を造って願われた日です。被造物と創造主が願っていた日です。したがって、この日は、アダムとエバが祝福の目的を実現できるその日になります。また、この日は、人類の善の先祖になるアダムとエバが、たとえ個体は違っても、神様を中心として生命の一体化を実現できる基点になる日です。
 
アダムとエバが神様と分離された立場で（神様とは）異なる生命の絆を継承し、悪の先祖として出発した、あらゆる恨の条件を越えて善の立場に上がり、神様の新しい生命の絆を備え、神様の愛を中心として再出発できる立場に立つようになることによって、初めて「神の日」が設定されたのです。

Chambumo Gyeong - 258. Significance and background of God's Day

True Parents proclaimed the historic God's Day at the original Cheongpa-dong headquarters church in Seoul on January 1, 1968. They made the foundation for this by victoriously concluding their first seven-year course. During that seven-year period they inaugurated Parents' Day, Children's Day and Day of All Things. On that New Year's Day in 1968, the eighth year since True Parents' Holy Wedding that was given with God's blessing, True Father said that God's Day is a day of joy when God could begin to realize His ideal of creation and to securely settle on earth for the first time in human history.
 
1 Parents' Day, Children's Day and Day of All Things have already been set up, but not God's Day. God created heaven and earth, but He was never able to welcome even one day when He could rejoice in heaven and on earth. This is why I am establishing God's Day today, on January 1,1968. 2 January 1, 1968, was the day we celebrated the first time God could settle on earth. It was the day God could begin to unite the spirit world and unite the earthly world, centering on His love. We call the ones who made this parent-child relationship, centering on God's love, True Parents. January 1, 1968, became the day God had been hoping to see on earth, the day when His ideal of creation would be realized. It is the day when He was able to come to earth for the first time in history, through Adam and Eve becoming one body centered on God's love. This is God's Day. Therefore, even though opposition from the world still existed, it was a day of happiness and goodness when God could rejoice for the first time since the beginning of history, even since the creation of the world. 3 Looking into the motivation for establishing God's Day that God had maintained throughout history, that day did not appear in 1968 simply because the Unification Church inaugurated it. That day already existed in God's ideal before God created heaven and earth. Although it had not yet manifested, it existed in God's ideal of creation. God's Day was supposed to emerge naturally when God would be able to appear in glory and reign over all creation. Therefore, God began creating all beings with that hope in His heart.

According to the Bible, after seeing all the creations that He had made, God said, "It was very good." The reason He said "it was very good" is because once God's Day was established, all beings would become the object partners of His love. On that day, God wanted to praise and exalt the creation. The reason the Bible states that God rejoiced and praised His work of creation is because God said those words based on God's Day.

After God created Adam and Eve, what would have been God's motivation to bless them and place the creation under their command and dominion? God longed to experience the day when Adam and Eve as His direct children would form a family that would attend Him. It was in expectation of this day that God waited to bless Adam and Eve. Until that day came, the joy and glory that would remain eternally could not exist in reality. (022-007, 1969/01/01)
 
4 What did I do during the first seven-year course? I had to sever completely any and every relationship by which Satan could possibly invade the True Family. With the goal of securing the family that God could freely visit, before the beginning of 1968, I had to stand in the position representing the people, the nation and the world, and identify all the potential conditions, internal and external, by which Satan could accuse my family. At the same time, I had to indemnify internally and all at once what Adam's family, Noah's family, Abraham's family could not accomplish, and what Moses and Jesus could not accomplish in the course of providential history. Jesus and his followers could not do this, and for this reason Christians walked the course of the cross for 2,000 years. We had to indemnify this course internally and substantially as well. I accomplished this in the first seven-year course. Having completed all my work by the end of 1967, I established the first God's Day on January 1, 1968. (037-301, 1971/01/01)
 
5 In the secular world  people celebrate their birthdays and wedding anniversaries, but without celebrating God's Day we are not actually entitled to celebrate those days. The only reason we are given leave to celebrate them in God's sight is because we also celebrate days of higher purpose, such as the days commemorating national independence and days commemorating humankind's struggle on the world level. Among the latter are Labor Day and International Women's Day, which seeks for women's liberation. God could use those days as a means to find and establish God's Day because those days of celebration do not exist for the sake of their own joy. Rather, they are necessary and instrumental as conditional days of celebration in the process of finding God's Day.

Yet, none of those days are days of celebration in the true sense. The supreme day for human beings to celebrate is actually God's Day. If humankind lacks a day to celebrate God and a day when God Himself can be happy, then humankind should not celebrate any memorial days, no matter how good they are. Nevertheless, if you celebrate a good and happy day while hoping and wishing for the future day of joy for God, then those celebrations can be accepted. (037-302, 1971/01/01)
 
6 Do you know what God's Day is? My wife's heart toward me as her husband must not change, no matter how much the world criticizes and opposes me. Her resolution to go the same path that her husband was taking cannot change. Eve fell because she did not trust God; therefore, Mother had to be so steadfast that God could trust her. Also, she had to be a woman whom her husband could trust 100 percent. Because Eve ruined Adam, women throughout history were seen as untrustworthy. Mother successfully completed the first seven-year course after our Holy Wedding; thereby, God could trust Mother 100 percent and I could trust her 100 percent. On that condition, I was able to establish God's Day. That took place in 1968. (113-140, 1981/05/01)
 
7 God's Day could be established for the first time because Mother and I together established the foundation for a decisive victory over Satan's world, internally and externally. If the original Adam and Eve had formed such a love connection with God, God's Day would have started in the Garden of Eden. Instead, I could proclaim Gods Day only after the end of the first seven-year course. At that time True Parents' relationship attained the standard of perfection, fully in accord with God's love. God's Day was inaugurated based on this foundation. The beginning of this new family centered on God's love after the establishment of God's Day is the same as if Adam and Eve's family had not fallen in the Garden of Eden but had married as a mature couple that formed a loving relationship, centered on God's blessing. Satan cannot attack or undermine this. We are entering the age of the family realm, in which we carry the authority of heaven and control the archangel. With this, a new era has begun. 8 God had dreamed and hoped to see God's Day, when the original human ancestors would have stood at the level of perfection. Even the original world of creation hoped to see that day. Having created all things, God hoped to see God's Day, when their purpose of creation would be realized.

All these hopes would have been fulfilled on the day Adam and Eve realized the purpose of their Blessing. That day would have been the starting point for Adam and Eve to stand as the good ancestors of humankind. That day should have been the first day these two human beings became one body connected to the life of God. However, Adam and Eve separated from God and became evil ancestors who inherited a connection to a different entity.

The Fall of Adam and Eve separated them from God, and they inherited Satan's lineage, becoming evil ancestors. Only when we, True Parents, overcame all the sorrowful conditions created by Adam and Eve, stepped up to the position of goodness, and made a new beginning centered on God's love while newly connected to His lineage, were we able to establish God's Day.
