Ghana: 가나
The first African nation to confirm‎!! their place alongside the hosts in South Africa, Ghana will be firmly bracketed amongst the 'dangerous outsiders' when the draw is made for group stages in December.
Coached by Serbian Milovan Rajevic, Ghana are bolstered by the talents of Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari and John Pantsil.
Impressive at Germany 2006, Ghana will target the latter stages in South Africa.

Proved a tough nut to crack under Guus Hiddink at Germany 2006, where they suffered an agonising exit at the hands of Italy in the second round.
Now coached by another Dutchman, Pim Verbeek, the Socceroos comfortably qualified through the Asian confederation and, with the quality of Tim Cahill, Harry Kewell and Mark Schwarzer to call upon, Australia could provide some real nuisance value whoever they come up against.

A rapidly-improving nation thanks to strength of the J-League, Japan remain unlikely to progress beyond the group stages and South Africa could prove to be no more than another stagepost on the nation's learning curve.

North Korea: 북한
Having qualified for the first time since 1966, North Korea will provide novelty value if nothing else.
Qualification was built on resolute defending and a strong team ethic amongst players who train together on a daily basis, so opponents can expect a frustrating 90 minutes against the North Koreans, who proved by beating Italy in 1966 that they have the ability to shock.

Whether the age-old problems of internal difficulties will resurface remains to be seen but, while they may fall just short of winning the World Cup, they could end the hopes of any fancied nation if they hit top form.

Spain: 스페인
Perhaps the favourites based on recent form, the European champions are likely to be the best-equipped nation to give Brazil a real run for their money in South Africa.
Fernando Torres is arguably the world's No 1 striker and the likes of Xavi and Andres Iniesta have few equals in midfield. Iker Casillas is a world-class goalkeeper too, so Spain look formidable. England will want to avoid them for as long as possible.

The five-times world champions arrive at every World Cup as the favourites and Dunga's selecao rubber-stamped their credentials by consigning Argentina to only their second-ever home qualifying defeat with a 3-1 victory on Rosario last Saturday.
The wintry conditions that will face the 32 nations in South Africa next summer will not be a problem for Brazil judging by their Confederations Cup success earlier this year.

Qualification has largely been achieved without the injury-ravaged Manchester City forward Roque Santa Cruz, but his return in South Africa will improve their hopes of progression beyond the group stages.
