11. The language of practice and implementation!
When I returned to ‘Molisha’, I tried to use the correct Korean and Korean spelling more actively and even tried harder to teach Korean to the locals. As a result, the students learning Korean and Korean also became excited and learned Korean and Korean happily and excitedly, and through word of mouth, more and more students flocked to learn Korean and Korean. Some of them were children, some were middle and high school students, and many were young people who were working. And even middle-aged women who were in their 60s came and started learning Korean. Of course, the Korean Wave, including Korean dramas and movies, played a big role in this. Many people were crazy about Korean dramas and young people were captivated by K-pop. Eventually, all the local fan club members of TVXQ came and started learning Korean.
Then, I ended up applying a more unique method. I started teaching two things that were a bit different for the locals who could use Hangul at a certain level. First, I taught students who could read and write Korean properly to write and read the language notation of ‘Molisha’ in Hangul. Second, I started teaching the believers and Chinese people to read the Korean Bible directly and understand its meaning and content. As a result, the students had to first clearly pronounce the language they were using. Then, I had them write that pronunciation in Hangul. The students who had been very shy about low sounds started to write it very well after a while.
Then, I came to think of this. Before Hangul was created in our country, there was a time when we had a language but no letters, so we borrowed Chinese and used it as ‘Idu’. This country also has a language but no letters, so we borrowed the English alphabet and used the language of this country as it sounds. However, when you borrow and use letters, the pronunciation gradually changes according to the letters used to write the language, so the language of this country written in the alphabet letters seems easy, but when I had the students write the language of this country in Hangul, it sounded a little low at first, but after they got used to it to some extent, everyone felt that Hangul was actually a much easier writing method. When writing and reading the word ‘Molisha’ in Hangul, I experienced that the phonetic value was much more accurate and easier than the alphabet that ‘Molisha’ currently borrows and uses due to the accurate sound value of Hangul. So by continuously having the students do this work, they completely got used to the Hangul writing, and then they started to write it in Hangul easily, and because of that, they learned Korean much faster. In addition, if the Korean Wave that was blowing at that time became an opportunity for young people who were interested in it to easily learn the Korean Wave, it was clear that the culture of writing their own language (language) in Hangul would spread uncontrollably among the young people of this country, just like young people in Korea enjoy using abbreviated words on the Internet or on their cell phones. Yes! If a culture of writing their own language in Hangul were to emerge as a culture among young people in countries that have their own language but no written language, Hangul would become familiar in an instant, and young people who are used to it would have the opportunity to easily learn Korean as well. In addition, Korean people would also be able to easily learn other countries’ languages written in Hangul.
A single letter can easily connect the languages of many countries with different languages. Thinking about this principle made my heart warm. And I thought that I had to put this into practice. To do that, I thought that first, I should thoroughly review and teach the rules of pronunciation and combination of Hangul, which are good for Korean, and then I should have them write the language of this country in Hangul, and furthermore, I should organize the pronunciation of how to express it in Hangul. So I started putting these things into practice.
